This is a gorgeous home with stunning views of Lake Como. Very comfortable, quiet, and private. We greatly enjoyed our stay. It is important to have your own car to get to this location as walking to town would be challenging. Once we discovered the parking lots in town, using the car to get back and forth was not a problem. Highly recommend this home.

Un très bel appartement les pieds dans l’eau avec une vue magnifique. Une très bonne situation pour visiter facilement le lac de Côme Milan les îles Borromée le lac de Lugano … Nous recommandons fortement cet emplacement de rêve.

Great stay in an absolutely great location. By skipping the busiest parts of Lake Como (Bellagio and Como), we afforded ourselves a great deal in a super peaceful environment. The views of the lake are truly breathtaking....which we enjoyed daily from the balcony. The area is rustic and charming, with a terrific cafe at your front door (Umberto is a wonderful host!)...and another 5+ restaurants within walking distance. The drive to Bellagio and Como is no more than 30 minutes and Lecco is half that...we also ventured to the charming nearby wine country that was only 1 hour away. Very spacious accommodations with most everything you might need....and super large grocery stores nearby for anything you may have forgotten. Rafaella was super helpful and very communicative. All in all, an excellent stay, a great value and a place you'll remember for years to come!

Giulia's place had an amazing location, steps from the train with our luggage, a restaurant right next door, grocery store minutes away, and a beautiful short walk to the water with shops and restaurants there. Varenna, while very nice, is very busy, we are so happy we stayed in Mandello del Lario. The apartment itself is in a very secure block, the style is bohemian which we enjoyed as we were seeking to relax. And what sold us and did Not disappoint was the view from the terrace in the morning. Everything else was great, it's a quiet area, the surrounding houses seemed upscale, with families and school kids doing their day to day activities. We would absolutely go back to this airbnb and already regretted not staying for 4 days instead of the 3 we booked. Thanks Giulia , hope to visit Mandello del Lario again soon !

Beautiful views and comfortable villa to stay a few nights. The villa felt like home and had everything we needed to cook our own meals with a grocery store a short walk away. The location of the accomodation is a fair hike up from the train station and town of Varenna and the busses didn’t run at regular/ convenient times. If the weather is fine and you don’t mind a walk, it’s definitely doable (without luggage). The accomodation and town has an old Italian charm about it, which we loved.

Daniela was super flexible, allowing us to check in early and stay an extra hour past check out, and very responsive to questions, both before and during our stay. They also put us in touch with a driver who picked us up at the Milan airport, with 2 car seats for our children. This made the transfer to Varenna, after a long day of travel quite smooth! The building has an elevator, which came in very handy with luggage and a stroller. There is a very thin partition in the apartment, and you can hear everything the neighbors say, but everyone was courteous and it didn’t affect our stay. The cafe directly downstairs was also very convenient (you can sit down or order anything to go) and the staff were so friendly! Overall, the air bnb and location were great and we loved our time in Varenna!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The location and view were amazing. It was clean and had everything we needed. Sara was a great host, she had helpful recommendations for Bellagio and was very friendly. We highly recommend this beautiful spot.

This place has the most gorgeous views! You will wake up to a stunning view, everyday, from all angles. When we booked this place, I was hesitant to do so because of the hill access, but the view truly makes up for it. If you need WiFi for work vs leisure, this place might not be suitable, but if you are looking to disconnect…I highly recommend. Views 10/10
