If you are planning on spending more than a week in Rome but do not want to reside in any tourist area, look no further than Antonia’s absolutely fantastic home in Garbatella!!!! The bedrooms (three!) are all spacious and well-lit. The bathrooms provide everything one needs, including a washing machine! We cooked several of our meals in her well-appointed kitchen as it contained everything one needs, including a huge refrigerator by Italian standards and a dishwasher! The BEST part however is Antonia herself! Fantastic communication throughout our stay and the most generous of persons, even dropping off fresh Italian pastries one morning! 5-minute walk to the metro; fantastic cheese and meat shop around the corner; 12-minute walk to the train 🚂 station and all in a vibrant neighborhood of true Italy!

At the entrance to Piazza de Popolo, this apartment welcomes you to Rome the same way that Keats, Gerte, Hans Christian Andersen and others entered Rome, with all its magnificence and history. In many ways, this apartment echos the grandeur of all who have come before it, while also providing the comfort and simplicity needed by guests who come to visit this incredible city. At the end of the day, you want a peaceful place to think, breathe, and sleep. The beds are perfect, the windows (when closed) keep out the city noise) and the loftiness of the rooms provide space to breathe. I know we will rerun again and again to this very special apartment—unless it is booked because of this review! This is a truly special location.

Perfect for two people and great location!

Very convenient and walkable to the basilica, we love our stay, felt like home. My family was very happy we were few minutes away from the Vatican. Maurizio the host is very responsive and flexible also Christina whom waited for us at the entrance of the building made us feel more confident on our stay. She gave us instructions and recommended a lot of places where to eat, how to take the bus, what number etc. our second day we were experts taking public transportation and walking around the neighborhood. And honestly everything is within walkable distance, from luxury shopping to any Shop, and restaurants! Over all my family had the best time!

We had a great stay at Maria Teresa's place! The location is just fantastic, close to everything and the Metro, very peaceful at night. We were a family of four, with 2 teenagers. It was the perfect amount of space for us all, giving us a great space to start and end our days, and retire to between site seeing. Its a beautiful, fully vintage space on the almost top floor, we made use of all of it, from the small balcony looking onto the courtyard behind the apt to the private patio. It looks just like the pictures -- its cozy and welcoming. The bathrooms and kitchen were perfectly clean, the beds really comfortable, everything we needed was available. Maria Teresa and her colleague Karina got us settled quickly and gave fantastic recommendations for restaurants -- these were terrific and really made our stay 10+. Its situated in a very high end part of Rome, for the price and location, it can't really be beat. We were just sad to leave and are planning our next trip to Italy soon!

L’alloggio é davvero bellissimo, curato nei minimi dettagli, ampio, con una terrazza splendida (sfruttabile in qualsiasi stagione). Unico piccolissimo difetto, che poi si trasformerà in un enorme pregio, é la sua posizione… se non si conosce la città di Roma, la prima volta non è semplice da trovare, persino Google Maps aveva difficoltà… ma una volta trovato, sarà nella posizione perfetta per visitare il centro storico ! Soprattutto, offrendo una terrazza splendida, é in grado di regalarti relax e benessere dopo una lunga giornata ! Consiglio vivamente questo alloggio ! Ideale per qualsiasi tipologia di viaggiatore !

Nous sommes une famille de quatre et avons passé un séjour formidable. L’appartement de Luca est très bien situé et très agréable ! Luca a été très aimable et toujours réactif pour nous répondre. La déco de l’appartement est très soignée, les lits très confortables. De nombreux commerces et restaurants de qualité sont à moins de 5 mn à pied et le quartier très sympa et bien fréquenté. Nous avons quasiment tout fait à pied et pris quelquefois les transports (se trouvant à proximité). L’arrivée autonome est aussi très pratique. Merci pour cet agréable séjour, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

We had great time in Lorella's house. Lorella and her husband greet us very friendly, gave all instructions, we're very attentive and extremely helpful! House was very clean, comfortable, even better than in the photos. Lorella think about every details for her guests will feel comfortable, coffee, tea and sweets were waiting for us in the kitchen, we were enjoying of our morning coffe in the wonderful balcony! Less than 5 min walk to the metro, shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood, easy to reach airport via shuttle bus - so all you need for great time in Rome! I will highly recommend Lorella's wonderful house, she and her husband just perfect hosts!

Really enjoyed our Stay at Eduardo’s place. Beds were amazing and rooms can be dark for when you want to sleep. Apartment is on one short flight of stairs so easy to get in. There’s a balcony area at the top that is accessible. There’s also plenty of rooms and 2 bathrooms for convenience. It is a little bit outside city center but the peacefulness at night makes it worth it. There’s also a foosball and ping pong table that my kids really enjoyed. My only complaints were that there’s no dishwasher and one of the showers spills a lot of water out that is not worth using since floors get all wet…also main bathroom sink and toilets need adjustment, besides that, it’s a great place and we slept amazing!

Viajei com minha mãe para Roma, e um dos requisitos era deslocar de maneira fácil para as atrações. O apartamento de Emanuela foi perfeito, perto do metrô e com restaurantes e mercados por perto. o apartamento é ótimo, espaçoso, confortável, ótima ducha e cozinha completa. Ótimo custo benefício em Roma, e as dicas de Emanuela contribuíram para uma ótima estadia.

Es un departamento hermoso, ubicado en un barrio tranquilo muy cerca del Vaticano. Giuseppe es un anfitrión de lujo muy amable, nos permitió dejar las valijas en el departamento después del check out y nos dio recomendaciones locales, un hombre muy amable y generoso. El departamento es todavía más lindo y grande de lo que se ve en fotos, nos dejaron café y aguas en la heladera. Caminando pueden llegar al resto de las atracciones de la ciudad, pero es un hermoso barrio para descansar por la noche.

La ubicación del departamento es inigualable, literalmente a una cuadra del Coliseo y muy cerca del todas las otras atracciones.. Pamino muy amable y el acceso muy sencillo. Ampliamente recomendable.

Ho alloggiato da Paolo 4 giorni appartamento molto spazioso e confortevole vicinissimo alla metro (20 m),Paolo molto simpatico e amichevole .Consigliatissimo.

Abbiamo soggiornato durante le vacanze natalizie, la zona è ottima, comoda per visitare a piedi l'intero centro storico di Roma, ma allo stesso tempo molto silenzioso. L'alloggio è dotato di tutto il necessario ed è confortevole per ospitare una famiglia di 5 persone. Giuliana è stata d'aiuto per qualsiasi occorrenza, spesso proattiva nei suoi consigli.

What a great location! Most major landmarks are within walking distance, and we never had to walk more than 30 minutes to get anywhere. The host provided excellent food recommendations. Just a heads-up—there is a bar on the same street, so if you’re sensitive to noise, it might be something to consider. However, it wasn’t an issue for us. This was our first time visiting Rome, and we’re so glad we chose Stefania’s Airbnb!

Stefano’s place was absolutely amazing! We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. The location on the 6th floor offers stunning views that are truly unforgettable. I especially loved the hot tub and terrace, where I spent every evening relaxing. The place was spotless, and they even let us drop off our bags the morning we arrived. I give Stefano’s place 5 stars, and we’ll definitely book again when we visit. It felt just like home!

A haven away from the hustle and bustle of Rome. Only a 15 min drive from the station where you can hop on the metro and be at the heart of the city in 15 mins. The house was really well equipped set in beautiful gardens that are perfect for relaxing in after a busy day. Licia was there to greet us and was welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area giving us some great tips on what to do and where to go. Highly recommended.

Wow, what a place. Claudia's house is like a little oasis of calm with breathtaking views over Rome. We stayed with our friends with 4 little children amongst us and it couldn't have been better, the children loved playing in the ample garden and spent ages down in the little play area. The communal spaces outside were really lovely, it was just a shame the weather didn't allow us to use them as much as we would have liked! Inside, the house is spacious and great for multi-family living. Grazie mille Claudia, for allowing us to share your little piece of paradise.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Rom. Die kleine Wohnung ist perfekt für ein paar Tage Städtetrip in Rom und ist sehr nah angebunden um schnell in die Innenstadt zu kommen mit mehreren Optionen und Bus- und Bahnlinien. Die umliegenden Restaurants und Cafe‘s sind auch sehr zu empfehlen, dafür hat uns Alessandro gute Tipps gegeben :)

After a stressful airport journey it was nice to meet Alessandro’s mother who welcomed us and showed us around the place. It is a very warm and intimate place - perfect for 2 people. The area has walkable grocery stores, restaurants and cafe’s and a beautiful mall within a 10 minute drive. Although it was nice to stay in February, I would definitely recommend visiting in the summer time :))

The house was exactly as described and we had a wonderful time. Communication was always spot on and Flavio was a great host. Everything worked perfectly. The house is in a great location. Perfect for day trips into Rome or to the surrounding hilltop towns. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.
