We had a fantastic stay and wish it had been longer. The views were amazing and worth the walk to and from the apartment. We would stay here again for sure. Marco and Michela were very helpful in getting situated when we arrived.

Stunning views over the sea and side of Etna. Sunrises at breakfast outside was great way to start the day. Hot tub worked very well and especially useful in shoulder season when cold at night. You need a car to do anything as not much nearby (there is a restaurant but opened too late for us with young kids). Great activity centre for kids 7 mins away. 30 minutes from Taormina which is touristy but amazing. Andrea was brilliant, very helpful and always keen to help. 2 large bedrooms on seperate floors. Great value for money.

Fabio was a charming and welcoming host. He is clearly passionate about tourism and making his guests welcome and at ease. He and his family were very kind. As a sporty family we used the gym a lot ( which we had to ourselves). We would have loved an outdoor pool but knew there wasn’t one and he is now aiming to install an outdoor pool. The apartment is well air conditioned and has everything needed ( we were a family of 5) and with plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds Lovely robes left for us and a sun hat each Really nice touches which show that Fabio cares about making a good impression - which he did. You do need a car as the apartment is quite some way out but if you don’t mind that ( we didn’t) then the quiet was good. Remote location fantastic for a quite holiday. Really liked views from the hot tub. First time arriving was difficult - we found a locked gate down a very narrow access drive. We had messaged Andrea with our ETA several times, so surprising we were met with locked gate. Overall though, enjoyed the stay.

We loved our stay at Katia’s and Ricardo’s. They were so welcoming and accommodating, just as many of the other reviews have said. We had thunder storms the first day, and as my son had a broken arm and couldn’t get his cast wet they kindly let us check in early which really helped us. The apartment itself is really clean, equipt with everything you need. The garden space is just beautiful, the views, the fruit trees, the pool and hot tub! We really appreciated that space and was great for the children. You do need a car to get around, but they have a gated drive so you could park safely. They is so much to do in the surrounding area. We spent most of our time in Taormina, it was our favourite place. We also went to mount etna which our kids loved. If you have any questions Katia is very helpful, and very quick to respond. I would highly recommend for families or couples

Assolutamente perfetto! Ho passato un weekend di massimo relax. La sauna, la vasca idromassaggio, tutto perfettamente funzionante ed efficente. Appartamento spazioso, pulitissimo e pieno di stile e tocco personale. C’è anche un fantastico terrazzino privato. Giuseppe è un ottimo host ed una persona molto cordiale e disponibile. La cucina è fornita di tutto fra utensili da cucina e basilari come sale, olio e altro. Gli affreschi sono abbastanza recenti quindi molto luminosi e creano un’atmosfera molto piacevole. Torneremo sicuramente per qualche altro weekend all’insegna del relax. Grazie ancora di tutto! Dario e Aisha

Villa Gorna is an amazing location with fantastic hosts. The property is as described and photos are accurate. A lot of care was taken to put nice extra features. Orazio was very responsive and helpful, with offers available for tours etc. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

The check-in was flexible and easily arranged. The villa was beautiful and very comfortable for two couples, located outside of the city which makes it easy to unplug and relax. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Pina’s accomodation is exactly as advertised. The a/c also has a heating function which was useful in the cold march evenings. The requested baby beds and baby chairs were all ready waiting for our arrival. Because we used Apple Maps instead of google we initially struggled a bit but with Pina’s help we all (3 families) arrived at the beautifull house. Although we were much later than we had said Pina waited for us. With her warm Italian character we immediately felt at home. We did not use the pool since it was March but it is a great addition to the house in the hot Sicilian summers. Also the big terrace at the side overlooking the bay is a great addition. In summer the only reason to leave the premises is to go for shopping.

The location itself is a must-visit, with breathtaking views and rich culture all around. We felt immersed in the beauty and warmth of Sicily. Toller Aufenthalt in dieser ruhigen Unterkunft auf dem Berg! Die Lage ist traumhaft, perfekt zum Entspannen. Der Pool war stets sauber und lädt zum Abkühlen ein. Besonders die große Terrasse mit Grill. Das Haus ist sauber und sehr gepflegt, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Es werden zudem Extra-Services wie Frühstück, Abendessen oder Massagen gegen Aufpreis angeboten, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer macht.

We had a fabulous time at Mario’s place with our two young kids. The place is nicer than the photos. The hospitality was amazing and we appreciated Mario going out of his way to accommodate our late check in. The local recommendations were lovely. We even took Mario’s help to secure some restaurant bookings. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it.

Angelo and Lucrezia’s place is just on of a kind. Beautiful cottage, great views and also well equipped. We stayed for a few days there to hike Etna, rest and work a bit too. The place was ideal for all these things. Also the hosts were very helpful when we had some issues, they were there to help us. Highly recommended stay for anyone looking to rest in a peaceful and beautiful place 😊

A truly wonderful place. Everything was perfect and lived up to the description. Highly recommended. The location is perhaps not ideal for seeing the island - everything is quite far away, even with a car. But the place itself is spectacular, and the host was very attentive to our needs. Do be aware that the consumption of electricity is not included in the price.
