We have just returned from a weekend away at this beautiful villa for a family weekend away. Beautiful location with spectacular scenery on the drive in. The villa has the wow factor. Home from home, the hosts have thought of everything and we couldn’t think of a single improvement except for a guest book so we could write our positive thoughts and recommendations in person of places to visit in the area for other visitors to read. The kids loved the park, ducks and football court, they also loved reading in the villa and playing board games which were all in the villa to use. Myself and my partner enjoyed walking around the site and spending quality time as a family. We couldn’t recommend this villa or hosts more highly and we thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us so we could make forever memories to treasure. Stephanie, Scott and family 🙏🏻

What a beautiful location, 1 mile to the nearest road, right on the cliff top overlooking the sea, with a woodland and coastal path right outside. Slight issue with the Aga on arrival, but Fiona came out with backup kettle and stove, and the offer of a night in separate accommodation. And the Aga was fixed the next day and by the evening we were enjoying a roast dinner in a lovely warm cottage. The views from every window are just amazing. Thoroughly enjoyable stay, especially by our 2 year old Springer, Max. We hope to be back in the future.

We had a fabulous stay here would highly recommend and would 100% come back. The house is spacious clean and quiet we had a great week here. Lots to do in the surrounding areas too to keep everyone happy.

My second stay at this place. Was very impressed the first time. A very relaxing and very tidy place to spend a weekend with family. Very good view of the sea and Alisa Craig island rock. Caroline and Stuart were very helpful and accommodating with my scheduling of the stay. Highly recommend this place.

Great caravan - really clean and in a good location. We had a great holiday.

The house is great, loads of space, and it feels really nice and cosy inside. There was a wild storm outside one evening but we all felt secure inside watching a movie on the big TV. We enjoyed th facilities at the park, having a pool, hot tub and sauna with a bar and games room upstairs means there was something to do if the weather wasn't great, and the outdoor giant chess and crazy golf meant there was something g to do immediately outside too. Really close to Aira Falls which is a must as is a trip over to Keswick.

What a fantastic place to stay! Beautiful views from every window and so quiet and peaceful. Nice to have fenced in secure garden for dogs, lots of parking space and bike storage. Bedrooms comfortable, immaculately clean and provided with bath sheets and hand towels. Great showers and plenty of facilities. Kitchen with AGA and lovely big table for family meals, plenty of crockery and cutlery. Appreciated having two TV rooms for different generations and good Wifi for the workers. All in all a delightful place to stay, peaceful, yet near to local shop and main road and easy to get to everywhere. We hope to return...

Such a lovely big lodge. Everything you need which is great. Very comfortable and the hot tub was perfect. Quite a few games of pool played as well. Would highly recommend. I also think this lodge would be great for my uncle who has recently had a stroke and uses a frame to get about as it’s very spacious and access is good for someone who would struggle with walking.

Delightful place to stay. Comfortable, warm and well-equipped. Good parking. Friendly and helpful hosts. Perfect for exploring the Lake District.

Beautiful house in a great location a short walk from Keswick. Modern and high end finish to the house and had everything we needed for our stay. We visit Keswick on a regular basis and this has been one of our best visits yet!

We had such a lovely stay, James was very helpful and responsive. The house felt like a home from home and had everything we needed and more. It was the cleanest Air BnB we've stayed in, with the most comfertable bed we've stayed in too! Neighbours were really helpful and friendly. The children loved waving to the horses. The parents loved having a filter coffee with a sea view, it was bliss. We can't wait to stay again, thanks so much!

I stayed at Moon cottage for a weekend with my husband and two friends. Matthew is a really responsive host and great communicator, we were well informed and found check-in easy. The house was fully equipped, comfortable, clean, tidy, and we all slept so well. The views of surrounding hills are lovely. The location was perfect for us, the main high street with all the pubs, shops, and restaurants is only a short walk away, but still enough of a distance to retreat and enjoy the peace and quiet in the evenings. We’re all looking forward to coming back and staying at Moon cottage again in future.

The house was as described. Very quiet on an evening. Great location for walking in the lakes following our walk up Scarfell Pike and Ennerdale. It’s not particularly a tourist location but a great base! All locals really friendly and Everything was expected and described.

I rented Paul's accommodation for 7 weeks in total and it was lovely, clean and very handy for our tour during their rehearsal period. I shall definitely book again for more rehearsals in Jan/Feb/March 2025. Paul was also very responsive if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house.

Had another fantastic weekend at Ruthwaite Farm! Absolutely love the house and we’re already trying to plan when we can next come back! The house had everything you could need for a break away. It was so clean and tidy and everything in it was of really good quality. You can tell thought and care has been put into the design of everything in the house and it is like favourite place to come away to. Plenty of space for adults and kids to roam around. David was fantastic with lots of local recommendations of things for us to do as well and very responsive to any questions we had. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting a break in the Lake District and we can’t wait to be back again!

Beautiful house in gorgeous countryside. The photos don’t do it justice! We were very fortunate with the weather but spending more time in the house wouldn’t have been a problem! Very light and spacious with nice attention to detail.

Our stay at Marcus’s home was perfect for our family. ( including a 1year old) We had everything we needed and more. Great location with easy walking distance of Ayr town and eateries . Also an easy walk to the sea front. What a bonus! Marcus was always responsive to any questions we had and flexible with our arrival times etc. would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Ayrshire. Thank you

Beautiful home very well equipped thank you

We had a wonderful stay here. Great location for a small family with walking trail to town just down the road. Very private yard for an afternoon cuppa. Very tidy and clean house which made it comfortable and easy. Thank you so much for the lovely memories!

Staying at Lorna's place was very nice. The space is warm and cute, it has the essentials. When we arrived we found bread, milk, coffee and tea for us. The bed is comfortable and everything works fine. Thank you for everything Lorna!!

Amazing home 🌸 we had a 1 night stop over while travelling to Scotland for our daughter’s wedding. Everything was as described and more…the only thing I would say is the house is much bigger than it looks in photos, it’s fabulous 🌸
