The apartment was on the first floor. Had private parking with it which was great in middle of Keswick. Lovely to have tea and coffee available and also left us a bottle of Prosecco which was a nice touch. Very clean, comfortable and lovely apartment. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it. Has a hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner plus soap in bathroom - didn’t have to use. T towels in kitchen plus washing up liquid, cloth and sponge. Towels and bedding provided. Even had Disney on TV. Walking distance of about 5 mins from town centre but still very quiet. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

This is a lovely flat with wonderful views. It is conveniently located in the centre of Keswick. The flat is well equipped. We loved it!

We had a perfect stay! We felt right at home with a thoughtful welcome note and goodies on arrival. Instructions for the place were very clear, and hosts were extremely responsive. We loved the peaceful surroundings, and the doggy friends around the cottage ☺️ really close to Cockermouth and short drive to other beauty spots in the lakes. Would highly recommend!

Regularly stay around the Whitehaven but first time not staying in a local hotel, great place and fantastic if your in Whitehaven. Great instructions from the host and will definitely be making this a more regular stay! Nice touch with the bottled water in the mini fridge and chocolate 👍 plenty of stairs as it’s at the top of the building, no issue for me but might be a struggle for some.

We had such a lovely stay. Everything we needed to hand and so close to the centre without being noisy at night.

I rented Paul's accommodation for 7 weeks in total and it was lovely, clean and very handy for our tour during their rehearsal period. I shall definitely book again for more rehearsals in Jan/Feb/March 2025. Paul was also very responsive if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house.

The Greta was a lovely place to stay. The house was so clean and comfortable, a home from home with plenty of space. The surroundings were lovely, private, safe for the kids and in a great location. I would definitely stay here again ❤️

What a fantastic place! David and Gillian were the perfect hosts. The location is exceptional, with fantastic views over Lake Windermere and all within walking distance of Ambleside. Would 100% recommend and can't wait to visit on our trip to The Lakes. A great find!

Wonderful property on edge of Lakes with great access to multiple beauty spots. Quiet with lovely views. Lots to do in the house. Extremely comfortable. Very well stocked in kitchen and bathrooms. Immaculately clean throughout. Personal touch to everything which made it feel more homely. Great for kids of all ages. Will stay again !

Cottage is just as described. Communication from the host was great. Very detailed instructions which is always useful. Kitchen is very well equipped with lots of utensils and crockery. Extremely comfortable beds! Very peaceful surroundings and lovely neighbours. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Perfect for our requirements. We were there only for two nights to climb Scafell Pike. The house was clean and tidy, beds were comfortable and bathrooms good. Very good price, right in the town with great amenities close by.

Really nice apartment, recently updated, in an unusual and interesting modern building on the hillside directly overlooking the centre of Ambleside, one of the nicest towns in the Lake District. A short, steep walk on a footpath down into the town and back up again, or a slightly longer, less steep, walk along the road, either way convenient and easy to find. Plenty of restaurants and pubs in the town, and of course the Lake District is world-famous for its dramatic scenery with plenty of walks or bike rides of varying degrees of difficulty.

Perfect location in Grasmere, right next to the Gingerbread shop, helps you miss the queue! Only a short walk from Easedale Tarn/Alcock Tarn and Sourmilk Ghyll. We even walked from the apartment to Rydal Caves and around Rydal and Grasmere lake! 10 minute drive from ambleside as well. Badger bar located between the two for badger feeding at night! Perfect location. Apartment itself was clean and well stocked, even left us a small pint of milk for teas/coffees! Parking is a little bit tight, but i was also parked between 2 transit vans so may have been a personal experience!

This flat is lovely not far from the Turnberry hotel so great location. Clare was lovely and even dropped the key off for me at the hotel as was having lunch. Lovely quiet area the flat is in plenty of parking. Lovely surroundings beach, light house. Highly recommend will be back 💖

Came up from London with my partner to visit my brother and his family who live in Creetown. The drive from the apartment there was 10 mins so amazingly convenient for us! The apartment itself did everything you could need. Modern, clean, simple basics, but great internet, comfy bed, and lovely tv. Very lovely bathroom too! We arrived 3 hours late - early hours of morning but the check in instructions were so simple we did not need to disturb our host. Everything was honestly great. A little noise if you’re in the bedroom from the local pub but nothing excessive.

We stayed at the apartment for 3 nights, it was really cozy and pleasant, just like the photos! We love its location! It’s at the back of Green Cafe, on college street, so it was rather quiet at night but yet close enough to the famous Gingerbread shop, Co-op mart, local shops and local bus stops (which are very useful for getting around to other towns in The Lakes)! We felt really comfortable and it’s a great base to explore The Lakes! Would highly recommend! Do note that you need to go up a flight of stairs to get to the apartment, so plan accordingly.

Excellent and cosy stay in a comfortable basement flat. Very quiet setting with lovely views from the door and a beautiful quiet garden to utilise. Walking distance to Grasmere and onto the hills. Everything of good quality in the flat and easy to access and park. Highly recommended

We had a one night stay in Carlisle and this was a fantastic place! A huge apartment which had more than enough room for the three of us, with plenty of places to relax in and outside there were shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. Hosts replied to a request for some local recommendations quickly and helped us plan our stay. Would recommend the apartment and would stay there again.

Accommodation was in perfect location, right in the heart of Troon. Easy access and free parking was a bonus. Flat was clean, modern and had everything that we needed for the couple of days we was there for. We would return again. Thanks for having us.
