Rooie was wonderful to deal with - before, during and upon leaving. My flight was delayed, he was patient and waited to meet me and show me around . The apartment is charming - a comfortable, sunny courtyard for alfresco dining, a nap in the hammock or even sunbathing, although the nearby beaches are too alluring to miss. The flat has a kitchen with all that was needed, a comfortable bed, quality shower, etc. He offered beach chairs, umbrella and a small cooler to take to the beach as well as beach towels. Rooie gave local recommendations when asked and was quick to respond with any questions. A lovely person and a pleasant place to stay if you want to be in a quiet neighbourhood away from other tourists. It was easy to find parking near the flat even when returning late. If you are looking to stay a short walk from bars, restaurants and clubs, you are better served to stay in a town as this place is for quiet and relaxation. There is one restaurant/cafe/store 5 min walk from flat.

Casa bastante confortável, em especial os colchões e as almofadas. Cozinha muito equipada e dotada de quantidade invulgar de louças, copos e talheres (de boa qualidade). Roupas de cama, banho e cozinha extremamente limpas e de boa qualidade.

This windmill with a pool is a lovely place to stay. My family and I (kids are 6 and 9) spent hours in the pool, which was a real highlight. That said, this quirky property has lots to offer aside from the pool. Lying on the roof terrace watching the stars was fantastic, as was relaxing in the hammock on the top floor of the windmill (where the wooden mechanism remains present). The indoor dining table is where the millstones would have been (and actually rotates like the stones would have). Whilst the inside has a lot of character, we spent most of our time outside on the terrace, which has a covered dining table, too. This property is fairly remote and you would need a car to properly enjoy it, I think. That said, you can drive into Tavira in under 20 minutes, and it’s a nice drive, with plenty of free or cheap parking when you get there. We had a small issue with the pool one day and the host was right on it. Very responsive and sorted right away, which was hugely appreciated!

Great stay overall, appartment is even nicer in reality. Spacious, clean and equipped with everything you might need. Few steps to the shops, bakery and city center with restaurants and bar. We also enjoyed the restaurant right in front of the appartment. Carina and Isabel organized everything perfectly for our arrival and they were the most helpful during our stay. Absolutely recommend the place and Carina as a host!

Gostámos muito de ficar nesta casa. É muito confortável, tem os equipamentos necessários e o Duarte foi óptimo anfitrião. A casa fica a uma caminhada de 5 minutos da praia. Recomendo.

Ótimo local, muito Limpo. Poucos minutos da praia, Fácil acesso para toda região do Algarve e Espanha. Recomendo e irei voltar !!

Tivemos uma estadia muito agradável na Casa do Francisco. A casa é bastante espaçosa e com um jardim extremamente agradável onde podemos apreciar as maravilhosas noites da Praia Verde. O Francisco foi extremamente acolhedor e resolveu nossos pedidos com muita diligência e prontidão.

We had a fabulous stay in the interesting small town of Castro Marim. The local independent supermarket was excellent, with a delicious hot food counter! Pollyanna's home was exceptionally large and the beds were beautifully made up and comfortable. The kitchen was generously stocked with every utensil and crockery one could possibly need ! We enjoyed the different levels of the terraces. Pollyanna was genuinely caring host and was available for all our questions about local places to go. Highly recommended. Many thanks
