great place, lots of room!

The home was beautiful and cozy. We didn’t bring a dog but we loved all the things that they had for dogs. We loved the quiet neighborhood. We loved the master bathroom and the master bed was so comfortable. The home had everything that my husband, my daughter and I needed to throughly enjoy our stay. The location was perfect for everywhere we needed to go

We had an overall 5 star stay here. The house and area itself is quiet and lovely. The hot tub and wood stove made the space very cozy. The views were amazing! Because there wasn’t much boat traffic or many neighbors around, it was very peaceful and quiet (there is probably more noise in the summer). Nearby uptown Roxboro is fun place to walk around visiting shops, bakeries and restaurants, even though it is small. And even though this is a rural area, it’s easy to get groceries. We also appreciated having soap and toilet paper and tons of board games provided. None of the house quirks bothered us, although in the summer months, being asked to limit laundry after lake activities might be more impactful on our enjoyment. We did have less responsiveness from the host than we are used to. None of our communication was a vital part of our comfort/overall enjoyment, but I do think it’s worth mentioning that since I’d be concerned if there had been a more serious issue to correct.

My husband and I stay here just to get away for a couple of day from the family compound. It was so quiet and relaxing. I would recommend this house to anyone. It’s beautiful inside and out. Thank you Bryan for allowing us to stay at your beautiful house.

Very nice, affordable place to stay in a good neighborhood. Will return if in the area again. Nice kitchen, huge bed, very clean. If I could give a sixth star, I would.

I was in unit A, great size for me plenty of room had all that I needed and more. Kitchen was amazing, I was able to host my daughter with a few friends from college for dinner. Was very happy with this choice and will use this space again in the future. Highly recommend !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The location was great, private but not secluded. Host was super responsive, we even decided to extend our trip and he was super helpful and responsive when it came to that! Beautiful place, loved it!

Katie is an amazing host and this property was just what we were looking for! Katie was very responsive to all questions and provided clear and detailed instructions for our stay. The property was just as described, the space was clean, and the neighborhood was quiet and calm. If we ever find ourselves back in Danville, we will definitely be reaching out to see if this place is available!

A lovely place, we enjoyed our stay, there was a binder inside that described all of the things we needed to and could want to know about, like local places to eat, and a bottle of wine was there at check in ! Yummy ! The designated parking spot on the property was not available, we first parked on the street in the front of the house at first, we didn't know until we read the binder inside that we could park on the side street, which avoids walking up hill with our suitcase and things, parking on the side street was fine, few little steps to go up, but very close to the entrance. Enteringwh is down several, steep concrete steps, definitely pack light, if you have substantial luggage or balance issues you need to be very careful, there is no railing, that is the only thing I would change about our stay. Quiet hours from 9p to 9a were very much followed as the family lives upstairs, there are kids and a dog, but the noise was not bad at all during waking hours. We thank you !!!!

Great host! John was very responsive and provided useful information. The home is lovely and was decorated for Christmas. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking and gathering. The area is walkable with shops and restaurants close by. There is a bit of noise from the nearby train which runs day and night, so something to keep in mind when booking.
