Great area of Greensboro, quiet, but close to everything. There is lots of room in this very pleasant cottage. Although no cable tv is available the wifi more than makes up for it. Great host who obviously cares about her house and it's visitors. We'll be back.

We booked this location to stay during my sister’s wedding weekend and had a fantastic experience. Very clean and great location.

We have stayed in a LOT of Airbnbs before and this one took the cake, by far. The house had EVERYTHING you could think of. It was fully stocked - and not just with average items - but higher end items. The linens felt like a fancy hotel. The bathrooms were stocked with amenities. The kitchen had every gadget you could possibly need -- the knives were sharp, there were plenty of nice pans & pots, etc etc. It felt like someone lived there full time and was just letting us borrow it for a few days. Not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere. The first couple of days of our stay were rainy - but we were perfectly content relaxing inside. The fooseball table and provided games were loved by all --- the views are spectacular. My daughter even saw an otter at the bottom of the yard in the water. This was just the perfect place for a girl's weekend to celebrate my Mom's 70th birthday! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

My sister and I rented the Rabbit Hole during Thanksgiving week. Our families had the best time and would love to return next Summer when we can enjoy Hyco Lake. Heather, the host, was very responsive and checked on us throughout our stay. We cooked a big Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was perfect. We had everything we needed. We loved waking up each morning to the beautiful views from every floor. The kids loved the game room and the bunkbed room. The house is beautifully decorated and quite cozy, and far exceeded our expectations. Thank you Heather and family for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Great house! If you have a big group, 2 bunkbeds on the lower level, King size bed on lower level, both share one bathroom. Queen size bed on main level with its own bathroom. Property is gorgeous, just a hair too far for me to VIR. But on a positive note got to see some great country side going back and forth. Wish it had been warmer and not rainy to hang out on the porch or take advantage of fire pit. Host was proactive with check in and out information, no issues at all....great property a little tight in the kitchen for a large group of people but we figured it out...Thank you so much for giving us a warm, dry, and clean place to stay.

Beautiful setting right on Hyco Lake. The house is gorgeous and had lots of space and things to do and keep the kids occupied. It was easy to access the lake with the paddle boards and kayak provided. Tanya was quick to respond to our questions and needs. We loved our stay!

Very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space for everyone. Great lake access. Would definitely stay here again and/or recommend to anyone wanting to rent a lakehouse.

We had a great time paddle boarding the lake and chilling on the screened porch. Went out for drinks to buoys to break up the stay.

A serene, relaxing setting right on the lake. Comfortable, clean accomodations. The hostess went above and beyond to make our stay the best possible. Every detail was attended to. Would definitely go back.

great place if you are the outdoors type. beautiful surroundings, lake is right there you can catch fish right off the dock. very secluded, private and plenty of woods. keep in mind it is North Carolina, and it's not flat ground. so there is a lot of hills, but it was a great stay for me. the host is great, and very responsive if you need anything.

The location is a very peaceful getaway! The house feels just like home!

Afika’s Beacon House is an art treasure on Lake Cammack. The location is perfectly situated between town and country here in the heart of North Carolina Piedmont. While still under some renovation during our stay, the house was warm and comfortable. All the amenities were complete, and what’s more, our host went out of his way to ensure that we felt welcome and were made comfortable the whole time. Be warned that one ought to be cautious of the wetland landscape alongside the lake, especially off-season. Visitors should bring and use proper footwear while hiking on lakeside city property nearby.

Had a great weekend at the cabin. We have rented a few cabins on hyco lake and this location was probably our favorite. Fishing was fantastic and we found a resturant nearby that was, a little pricy, but amazing steak. It was the closest steak house when you google "steak near me". We spent hours down at the dock house and when inside the cabin, the coffee bar and couch called my name often lol.

This is a great place to just decompress...beautiful setup, would be perfect if you could have another couple stay as well but great place ..Def coming back

The cabin is lovely. It’s quiet and the setting is beautiful. The cabin is well equipped and nicely appointed. The kitchen has anything you need for cooking and there’s nice outdoor grill. Beds are comfortable with high quality sheets and nice towels in the bathroom. The outdoor deck area overlooks the pond and we enjoyed watching the baby calves playing in the morning. We look forward to coming back when we can stay longer and doing some farm chores. If you ever get short handed give us a call!

What a gorgeous place to visit! The views are gorgeous and the area is very peaceful and private. The home was spotless and comfortable and had everything we needed, including some goodies to get us started while we settled in. The host even provided plenty of wood for the fireplace, fire pit and pizza oven! She was very responsive and super friendly! Within 20 minutes of the home are several little towns that have grocers, fast food and a few other dining options. We will definitely consider returning to this lovely home!
