Beautiful home! We came to NC for racing school at Skip Barber. Having a long day at the track, coming back to the lake house was the best feeling. View is amazing on a sunny day! Thong was very accommodating and quick to respond! Will stay again!

My husband and I spent the most marvelous 3 nights at Joe and Megan's cabin. We truly did not want to leave at the end of our stay! The house was so cozy and had absolutely everything we needed. The kitchen, while small'ish, was exceptionally functional and very wellstocked. We only used the downstairs bedroom, but that bed was very comfortable and all linens were nice. The sunroom was a peaceful place to enjoy the mornings. Great wifi/TV/streaming options. We fully enjoyed all outdoor areas. The deck with large gas grill made for having fun relaxing dinners with lovely views of the lake. The dock was a restorative place to spend the day, launch kayaks from (provided with rental!), and for stargazing at night. There are a few homes/docks nearby but it felt very private and we never issues with noise from neighbors (can't speak for how it might be at the height of summer). Easy check in/out process. Communication with Joe & Megan was superb. A true gem and we hope to return soon!

I would highly recommend the Modern Treehouse. It is a beautiful home that offers a unique stay unlike similar offerings in the surrounding area. The home was exactly as advertised and Michael was a great host with quick communication and clear instructions. We felt right at home and enjoyed our stay. We will definitely keep an eye out for it should we travel to Hyco lake again. No matter the season, you can enjoy your time at this peaceful and unique home.

My husband and I had a wonderful peaceful relaxing time. Melissa was easliy reached when we needed her for a request we had. very impressive and i would recommend this cabin for my family and friends

The view was extremely beautiful. The full moon over the lake was absolutely stunning. Super cozy, and the host was very helpful with any questions I had. I stayed for two more nights after my first initial stay, because it was such a good deal and super convenient because I had work in the area. Would stay again!

We loved the peace and quite of this lovely home. Can't wait to go back!
