This place is so close to the airport and was perfect for our group of five before and after a long day of travel!! We actually stayed here the first night we arrived and then again this time before our flights back home. We communicated with Ken during our first stay and he and his father were so responsive and helpful it helped us to relax and get comfortable. Our second stay, we communicated with both Juan Pablo and Melanie. Both were kind and very responsive which I really appreciate! The place is exactly what we wanted for our stay overs. The house is clean and cozy, and the beds are confortable, but the hosts are what made it really shine. They provide very clear instructions, are proactive and respond to all questions immediately. We never had to wait for a response which is a rare find in a host and reduces the stress from traveling. Will definitely stay here every time we fly in/out of San Jose if it’s available! Such a wonderful stay! The host was very nice and welcoming, making everything smooth and enjoyable. The highlight of the place is the incredible balcony—perfect for relaxing and taking in the stunning surroundings. The location is truly magical, surrounded by nature yet just a short distance from the center. A perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. Highly recommend!

This AirBnB is stunning. A modern, high-ceiling, open-concept home in a quiet and safe neighbourhood in the South of San Jose. The home is two stories, with a small enclosed open-air patio at the back of the home and multiple areas to kick back and relax. The home is in top condition, squeaky clean and well equipped. The house is beautifully decorated, and there are many little details that feel luxurious. Parking on the street was totally safe, as the area is a gated area. A small grocery store and some take-out restaurants are a short 5-10 minute walk away. The spacious home had everything we needed and more (washing machine, ironing board, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, den, other sitting room, three bedrooms…) Incredible value. We would definitely stay here again if we ever needed to stay in Curridabat in the future!

Ein kleines Paradies! Ursula war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Haus und der Garten haben alle Wünsche mehr als erfüllt. Es war alles noch viel schöner, als auf den Bildern. Der schöne Pfau war sehr freundlich und hat dem ganzen einen ganz besonderen Flair gegeben. Danke, dass wir da sein durften! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We loved our stay at Claudia's place in Alajuela. It was a cozy home in a great location in the city. Claudia made it easy for us to enjoy our visit, providing clear instructions for accessing the home, for resources nearby, and for check in/out. This place is amazing with the view and peaceful area. The fireplace was an added blessing. The caretaker Francisco was the best ever and always ready to help if necessary. Will definitely go back

Really nice place, a little noise from the street but nothing too bad. It was a really nice place in the middle of everything.

I have stayed here before and always come back - the apartment is perfect - fast WiFi and easy to get everywhere in the San Jose area. I use Uber while in CR and the location is perfect - Uber always available quickly. The host is always available and quick to respond to any question and recommendations… As they say - she has very positive energy and is a pleasure to work with on any request. Mariana’s was exactly what we were looking for - a place to base ourselves while we explored San Jose. Mariana was very responsive to questions and we really enjoyed the gym and pool to help our recovery from a long red-eye flight.

We have stayed several places in CR, Airbnb and hotel/resorts, and this by far is the best place we've stayed. It's new, modern, clean, welcoming. Most of the employees were bilingual so it was easy to communicate. Definitely worth the money. Definitely worth vacationing here. Would stay here again, most definitely.

Pedro siempre estuvo al pendiente en todo momento, muy amable, siempre atento y amigable, nos recibió al llegar y nos dió explicaciones muy claras de todo. El departamento tiene todo lo necesario para una estancia larga, una buena vista, muchas amenidades y Seguridad en el edificio, la zona es hermosa con un parque muy lindo enfrente. Definitivamente regresaría a este lugar.

Enjoyed my stay very much. I was there just in a holding space until I left for a retreat and I appreciated the ability to relax by the pool and to walk to the city mall as well. Host was great, responsive and helpful

Appartement propre, décoré avec goût et avec une vue impressionnante sur San José. La piscine au dernier étage est un véritable plus. Quartier calme et sécurisé.

This was our first time in Costa Rica, so we were a little intimidated about staying in the heart of a big city. However, from start to finish we had a wonderful time! The condo was easy to find and located next to a ton of restaurants, bars, markets, museums parks… I could go on but there was so much to do we couldn’t fit it all in during our 3 night stay. The property was clean, beautiful, safe and private. As for the host, Karil, he was fantastic as well. He contacted us with very thorough instructions prior to our arrival, as well as a litany of suggestions for places to eat and things to do. I would stay at a property owned by Karil again without hesitation. I cannot recommend this airbnb enough! 5+ stars and we would love to stay here again if we are ever back in San Jose!

this is our second time staying with Jon. its a very nice place, strong wifi and he's fast to answer if we have questions or issues. we stayed in 2 other places on that property but Jon's is best because you can't hear the highway noise from his place and it's in the first floor so safe for kids not to be with a balcony. Definitely recommended

Ficamos só por uma noite, mas tudo estava funcionando bem. As camas eram confortáveis e o chuveiro era bom. O wi-fi era meio instável. A localização é próxima de um shopping e a 10 min do aeroporto, mas não são arredores bonitos, ou agradáveis para caminhar. No entanto para nós, foi bem conveniente por estar perto do aeroporto.
