You can’t go wrong with this place. Ingrid had everything I needed for my stay. Great amenities in the area, great and tranquil house. I would book it again again if I am in the area.

This house is in a perfect location with the most amazing unobstructed elevated view of the mountains. The heated pool is an absolute cherry on top. A spacious and well maintained garden adds to the lovely setting. We spent most of our time on the spacious verandah, equipped with a braai. The beds were super comfortable. Need to know tips: All bathrooms are fitted with a shower. Large double door fridge&Freezer. Large gas stove top and oven. Plenty of wine and cocktail glasses. There is a large undercover verandah with a 8 seater table and a braai. I can highly recommend this house! This was my 2nd time there and would definitely not be my last.

A very neat place with a wonderful view. We stayed before going to hike and James had wonderful advise, was very kind and even provided us with water after asking if we would be able to drink the tap water.

We loved our stay at Cairn Cottage. The lounge furniture had been upgraded and was even better than the photos. The uninterrupted view from the cottage was a highlight. Samantha was very responsive and was a great host.

The house is beautiful and spacious. It has everything you need. There is a washing machine, a dryer and a dishwasher. The view from the house is breathtaking and there is a clean small lake one can swim in just a few minutes from the house. There was a rock pool very close by but I understand that now it belongs to one of the properties so is not available for everyone’s use. There are so many activities in the area so we had busy packed days horse riding bird shows and vertical rush. Internet is not great. It was an absolute treat.

We took a spontaneous weekend away with friends, and the location was exactly what we needed. The house is situated deep in the central Drakensburg right, so the first thing you see as you walk into the house is the phenomenal vista. The house was extremely clean and modern. It’s difficult finding a house with both a swimming pool and a wood fired hot tub - so this was perfect! The Zebras came to greet us one of the morning. I was helped by Zaz who was extremely responsive explained everything clearly even allowed us a late checkout so we could a few final dips in the pool. We will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone interested in hiking and some quiet time.

La maison était très agréable et la vue et environnement étaient superbes. Les recommandations de Chanel notamment les petites randonnées autour de la maison étaient utiles. Nous aurions bien prolongé notre séjour. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Merci Chanel

This was the perfect spot for the wedding we had down the road, great for a one night stay! Rina was lovely.

Unfortunately we had to cancel and never got to stay. Thankfully Louis was accommodating toward us.

Amazing accommodation with very clean rooms & lounge and lovely view in the morning. Definite would love to visit again.

We had an amazing weekend at Emfuleni.. The house was great and we had everything we needed. Afternoon drinks and early morning coffee on the patio as well as evenings around the bonfire! Walking distance to the river and surrounded by the mountains. Basil was very helpful with instructions and we will definitely be back.
