Nicolas place was fantastic ! absolutely beautiful place both inside and out was everything I could have asked for and more and Nicola herself was super helpful and friendly made me feel even more relaxed than I already was and got to admire the hard work she'd put into her place and it shows would definitely go again 😊

The cabin we stayed in was gorgeous! The views were immaculate and the cabin itself was spotless and the products provided were top of the range. The only thing to mention was that the top windows in the cabin didn’t have curtains so the sun woke us up - other than that, everything was perfect

Wonderful lodge on a park with others, but we barely saw the neighbours, it was incredible peaceful. Hot Tub a definitely luxury upgrade. 3 double rooms (one is small, with one side of the bed against the wall, totally fine for us but might bother infirm), bathroom and en-suite with shower, and large living space and kitchen. All very well appointed , lovely looking and well kept. Perfect for our family getaway.

All good but I have to comment the bed mattresses were a little too hard for us all.

We stayed at The Old URC for our ten year wedding anniversary between 6th - 11th April; I’m thrilled to say, we were not at all disappointed! The building itself is a sympathetically restored and beautifully furnished converted chapel, with many of the salvageable original features still in situ, nestled in a peaceful corner of the sleepy village of Penruddock, surrounded by glorious countryside, and within mega quick and convenient access of the A66. This home-from-home is very well-equipped with everything one would need for any length of stay, was immaculately clean upon arrival, and easy to access with a key safe outside. Dylan was contactable and quickly responsive if necessary, however, we had no issues or queries, therefore had no need to get in touch during our stay. There’s space for one car to park outside, complete with EV charging point; the garden is fully enclosed, a good size, and is neighbours to a field of grazing sheep and lambs, which were a joy to watch!! 5 stars..!

This was our second stay in Penelope’s cottage, and just like last time, it was perfect. 5 stars all round. Thank you!

Stayed here as a base for a day trip to Beamish. It was ideally located, very clean, warm and comfortable. Good recommendations for food and information about shops nearby. Melanie was a really attentive host, very reassuring to know she would be available if needed.

This is a great place. We could’ve done with longer - struck gold with the weather so didn’t use the leisure facilities as much as we might have. Really well placed for visiting Keswick and Penrith. Whinlatter Forest took us about 30 mins to get to - great for walks, bikes, cafe.

Thank you to Richard for allowing my family and I to stay. We had a lovely weekend at the house which was as described and represented good value for money. Richard was very helpful in responding prior to the stay. Both he and his brother were very accommodating. Thank you.
