Cavan : locations de vacances avec kayak

We had a wonderful few days in the gate lodge hosted by Audrey. We loved it, great location, the kids loved the games room and right on the edge of the village. Fantastic place to base yourself if your doing the 'Stairway to Heaven' (as we did) or just enjoy the beautiful lakes. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Breda was lovely and helpful. Our kids loved the use of lake and canoe, down every evening. Would definitely stay here again if going down, lovely big spacious house.

Les maîtres mots qui les définissent : - disponibles - réactifs - attentionnés - bienveillants Un immense Merci à eux La seule chose qui a péché durant notre séjour, c'est le temps pluvieux. Malheureusement, la météo ne peut s'apprivoiser. Nous garderons tout de même un souvenir mémorable.

Me and my family stayed here, we booked for four nights and omg, we loved it, Great location, fab view and oh so peaceful. Really couldn't ask for more. House was as described and had everything you needed and could ask for. Special treat was the use of kayak's provided that me and my daughter used and quite literally had the most beautiful and enjoyable time of our lives. Also provided was a fishing rod in the house and I aso had the most enjoyable time fishing with my son ... I couldn't ask for more really, so it's a 10 out of 5 for us. We had a lovely weekend at the chalet, it was a lovely retreat for a private and peaceful weekend. We hadn’t got the weather on our side, so we brought a pop up gazebo for cover over the hottub - this was so handy and we enjoyed relaxing here for most of the weekend. The host is so responsive, helpful and friendly. 10/10 would recommend and will be back hopefully soon!

Second time staying at this dog friendly spot in lovely Killeshandra. Audrey is a great host - quick to communicate and very accommodating. Located on a beautiful and historic old estate Games room great for group or kids. Wonderful walks in the area too. Finally a Scandinavian style sauna (google "Outdoor Sauna and Leisure") has opened up by the town lake and is a little piece of heaven. Will be back.
