Really nice warm and clean house. Two of the rooms have double beds so it was comfortable to watch a movie in, despite having no living room. There is great parking space. We felt really safe with the outdoor sensor light. The lakeside is only a few minutes away. Ballinamore is a town approx 15 mins away with 2 supermarkets. This was a great find..

Breda was lovely and helpful. Our kids loved the use of lake and canoe, down every evening. Would definitely stay here again if going down, lovely big spacious house.

We enjoyed a 3 night stay in Alannah house. The house is in a quiet countryside location and about 7/8 minute drive away from ballinamore. Alannah was very helpful for check in by letting me know early that morning. Rooms were perfect. Only one shower in the en-suite bedroom which is downstairs. Bathroom upstairs has a bath. Alannah had left a few bits in the fridge for us such as bread, milk, butter & sausages. We would stay again.

Great house for a family of 10 (6 adults and 4 children). Daniel was very responsive to our queries and even put up a little Christmas tree for us 🎄

We really enjoyed staying in this house . The house has 5 separate bedrooms, 4 of them have separate bathrooms which is so great and private if you share a house with friends or family. Spotless and very peaceful place . I would just add additional fridge in the utility room as the one provided is quite small . Also electric hob in kitchen needs replacement as its not working properly since it's very old . The kitchen itself is fab as it looks like it was redone recently. Overall fantastic place and super responsive & friendly host ! thanks for a lovely stay in your beautiful house xx

A beautiful spot right on the Shannon with great river views. Everything and more you would need for your stay was provided, and the host was available for anything else you may require. Lovelely hosts, lovely property and lovely location.

I recently stayed in Trinity Lodge with my husband, four teenage boys and our five dogs. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again. The lodge is in a beautiful rural setting. The views are breath-taking. The Lodge is well equipped and really very cosy. Between the sauna, the games room and the boats, the boys didn't complain once about being bored! We walked the paws off the dogs, who enjoyed the freedom as much as we did. Geraldine was always contactable and very kindly allowed us to check out late as there were no guests arriving the day we departed. I can't recommend Trinity Lodge enough. Definitely a nature lovers paradise.

One of the best renovations I have ever seen! A truly captivating cottage, with a sleek, modern kitchen, high-quality appliances, luxury bathrooms and a stylish, inviting living room with stunning views of Kilglass lake by day or the moon and stars by night. A high standard finish throughout with interesting art reflecting the owners' good taste and travels. It was a joy to wander the lovely wildflower covered lanes and meet the charming neighbor; Mr. Kiernan is keeps an eye. Unwinding by the wood-burning stove with a glass of wine in the evening was a real treat. I must say that the photos do not do the interior justice, the house is far more beauiful. Unfortunately the exterior was a bit overgrown to fully enjoy the garden and stunning views of the lake, but this did not detract for a wonderful stay. I would not hesitate to recommend this house to anyone looking for a short or even long-term rental. Just a few minutes to supermarkets, pubs, chemist, takeaways, etc. Its perfect!

Our 1 week stay was MAGIC If you want to experience a real peaceful rural retreat - book this house! It was complete silence with no traffic noise or neighbors. The only sound I heard was from the birds or an occasional moo from a cow. The house has a great layout with 3 well equipped bedrooms and the living room is central. Your front porch overlooks a beautiful peaceful lake with swans. Sometimes it felt surreal. I would recommend for a couple, a few friends or a family. Enjoy!

This accommodation was ideal for us as a family of four. It was comfortable, well equipped and situated in beautiful surroundings. The host was friendly and approachable. We had a lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to others.

We stayed at Jim's cottage on the 2nd leg of our tour of Ireland, the peace & quiet of this area as well as the local history was much appreciated. We were able to visit two of the O'Rourke castle sites as well as O'Rourke's Table which was a pretty streneous hike but well worth the effort, I only regret not having more time to explore & fish the many canals & lakes in the area. Overall the cottage was nearly perfect for our stay & would definately recommend! Thanks, Jim & Erin Paul Roark

Second time staying at this dog friendly spot in lovely Killeshandra. Audrey is a great host - quick to communicate and very accommodating. Located on a beautiful and historic old estate Games room great for group or kids. Wonderful walks in the area too. Finally a Scandinavian style sauna (google "Outdoor Sauna and Leisure") has opened up by the town lake and is a little piece of heaven. Will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at Brian's place. The cottage is located in a quiet spot, ideal to disconnect from the busy city. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, the cottage is well equipped to host big groups. Brian was super kind and let us check in earlier so that I was able to attend my remote class. Special mention for Brian's pets, they were really sweet and they cheered up the whole experience. Recommended!

People often say pictures do not do it justice. .. that is genuinely the case with this amazing getaway treasure. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome and feeling of peace. The room, scenery, and spa area exceeded expectations. The small touches are everywhere, and you can just tell by talking to the hosts how passionate they are about this slice of heaven they call home. Walks along the lake are tranquil and serene, while the wood-burning stove in the room provides an amazing cozy atmosphere. Sitting in the hottub gazing at the stars and then enjoying a steam in the sauna was so lovely. I would return to this luxury spot in a heartbeat. More than highly recommend.... don't miss out!

What an amazing cabin in beautiful woodland! I would highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking for a complete retreat style getaway! From the initial booking to our entry, Fergal was responsive with excellent clear communication! The cabin is beautifully maintained and spotlessly kept; the kitchen is equipped with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay; the bedrooms & bathrooms immaculate; information on local walks, activities & places of interest supplied; a beautiful wrap-around decking area provides sunshine all day long. We were a group of four; celebrating a Special Birthday; We couldn’t have been anyway more special ir beautiful! I would highly, highly recommend! And, importantly, I would like to thank Fergal & Margarita for being always available to us, and so quick to respond! I, and my friends , wish you a very successful season! You deserve nothing less!!

me and the kids had an absolutely brilliant stay. lots of room, in and outside. safe and private. everything you need plus more provided. wanted for nothing. shop just 5 min drive away. the place was super cozy when we got there, felt like home from the minute we arrived. super clean and tidy hot tub was amazing, hot and ready to hop in on arrival. bbq set up for ready to go. i honestly can't say a single negative thing about this place, it was perfect. will deffiently be going back. the host was very nice and helpful. if any queries always quick to reply.
