Caye Caulker : locations de vacances adaptées aux familles

We really enjoyed our stay at Caye Casa #35 in Mara Laguna. The home is not on the Caribbean side of the island, but on the lagoon side. We especially loved Tony, the housekeeper, and Terri, the manager. Both of them made our stay wonderful and they each responded to our every need. The house was just like staying at home as everything we needed was provided. We would love to stay there again. The large pool was especially nice on the hot days. The home is very close to San Pedro, which made shopping easy. It's only about a mile from town, so you could even walk. We would definitely recommend this home as a great place to stay if you are on the island of Ambergris Caye.

Great location and the host was very friendly and responded fast, connected us to people on the island so we had someone nearby to contact and to give us a ride from the boat to the room.

We loved Bobbi's Place, bed were very nice and comfortable, had everything we needed Lots of places to eat close. The pool was perfect and the locals were great ! I felt more comfortable walking around there than I do in the city that I am from. Ron

I rated all a 5-star as very accurate but ironically, the potential fail was that they did not state enough in the AirBNB description as to all the awesome features that were included! The 'beach' (more of a great sitting area to wade in and cool off) was raked every day that were were there for the chair areas (there was debris tangled into the roots and sides) so very safe for our 3 year old to run around barefoot). The roof top hot tub was stated BUT the highlight due to viewing sunrise and sunsets! Look for huge star fishes in the tide pools! Just don't take them! The staff was always cleaning up the pool area and we did get a change over of towels and sheets mid-week. Fresh water always had a spare bottle as we did drink a lot of water and made a lot of ice with it! Beds were comfy and as ocean front, we turned off the AC a lot and just let the sea air in. May not be an option all year but I think we saw one fly make it in. Make sure they have Gustavo be your taxi guy! Reliable!

Expectations were exceeded. This location cannot be beat. we will definitely be booking again. The rooftop hot tub was gorgeous/relaxing and so was the balcony. Thank you for a wonderful vacation getaway.

Caye Reefe Condos are great for a small family or 2 couples. I went with my daughter and we felt safe, were able to walk around and just steps from the beach!

We just had an amazing week, the property is beautiful, had everything we needed. Comfortable, clean and the best view! Loved being in the resort with the housekeeping and amenities. But what really stood out was how helpful Van was. She communicated with me well before the trip, and set up an amazing birthday dinner for our daughter as well as a wonderful day out on a private boat, the Captain was awesome. I highly reccomend booking with Van!

Couldn’t have asked for a better location in Caye Caulker. The proximity to the water taxi, restaurants, and activities was such a plus. We used and enjoyed all the amenities, loved the views and slept comfortably. Five stars, will definitely stay here again in the future.

We booked very spontaneously as we had to cancel another location, because of its bad conditions. Bobbi reacted extremly fast and flexibly, was very warm, friendly and helpful, gave us a great welcome. We loved our appartment, it was so well equipped and very charmingly decorated. We had the best time there and can only highly recommend it. Great to have the pool and the bikes included as well. And, additional treat, there was a mixer in the kitchen, so we could make our own daiquiris with fresh mangos/papayas etc - loved it!

Great little place. Pool was a great amenity since beaches in Caye Caulker aren’t very nice/not a lot of public beach space. Well equipped, be careful with the bathroom faucet as it splashes if you open too much. AC works really well, but house is well ventilated if you open all windows and turn the fans on, so not always needed. Nice to have drinking water available and the option to book ferry pickup (takes the work out of finding the place). If you want a golf cart rental, I recommend J&SONS XTREME car rentals, they had the best rates out of 3 or 4 we looked at and they offer discount for multiple days and the transaction was smooth. Check out the guy by the airport that cooks in his back yard, setting is nice and unique and food is very good. Try the homemade ice cream shops with homemade waffle cones-delicious. Stingray beach is a must between 4:30-5:30 PM, they feed pelicans and rays and kids loved touching the stingrays. Whole day snorkeling tour with Hicoco Tours was very nice!

"Oasi" trifft es genau - der Garten und der Pool sind ein schöner, schattiger Rückzugsort. Das Zimmer ist grosszügig geschnitten und es gab mehr Handtücher als benötigt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Gratis-Fahhräder sind Gold wert aufxder Insel und gegenüber gab es abends einen phantastischen Grillstand. Super für alle, die 10 Minuten Fussweg in den Trubel nicht stören!

Great place to stay and convenient to a lot. A nice quiet side of the island too. The use of free bikes was a really nice addition and I used it to go everywhere. The hosts were always responsive to any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend staying here!

Hilda war sehr freundlich und hat uns herzlich begrüßt. Wir haben sogar Fahrräder kostenlos für den Aufenthalt bekommen, was die Fortbewegung auf der kleinen Insel deutlich erleichtert. Von der Unterkunft aus ist alles schnell erreichbar und wir haben gute Tipps für den Aufenthalt bekommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Natalie und Louis aus Deutschland.

Ms Hilda was very Sweet, and welcoming. She was very attentive to our request or queries. Definitely would return to this host. Felt right at home.

We liked our stay, as the area is quiet and the location is very good. Just a minute walk to good restaurants and the split. Hilda gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants when we arrived. The deck is great, loved to hang out there in the hammock as you can even see the ocean a little bit. The apartment might require a little maintenance here and there, but honestly I think this was the perfect place for us staying as backpackers wanting to avoid the bigger hostels and have some privacy to relax. There was so much space, too! Hilda was always available if we had questions. Would stay again.

The one bedroom cabana was well equipped for a longer stay. It was comfortable and had easy access to the pool and deck, which are shred with 3 other cabanas. Our host, property manager and cleaner were all responsive and quick to fix any problems. A new bbq was added while we were there giving us a great way to prepare the fresh seafood found locally. The location is a short walk from the centre of the village, close enough for easy access to the many great restaurants and bars, but far enough out to avoid the bustle of the tourist area. Caye Caulker is a laid back community with a mix of locals, snowbirds and short term visitors. Beaches are a bit limited, but one soon finds a swimming hole that suits them. We would recommend Tropical Dreams to anyone looking for a good base from which to explore the island.

We had an amazing stay at Velento's. Abundant coffee and water was fantastic. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed and more. The room has very comfortable beds, fans, air conditioning, shower and ample space. Outside the room had patio chairs, hammocks, outdoor games and a lovely pool. We booked the room based on the photos of the dock and were pleased that it delivered as promised. The staff were very attentive and kind. They kept the grounds very tidy. It was lovely to chat with many of them during our stay. Within our first 30 minutes on site a nurse shark passed under the dock, what a delight. We can't imagine our stay being any better.

I stayed here with a group of 10 friends, all with different interests and preferences, and every single one of us absolutely loved our stay. The property is beautiful and peaceful. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We’d all happily stay here again.

We had a great stay! Let host know we would be late, after closing hours of check in. They kindly responded to us, we will be here for you. The only thing I would say is some kind of beach towel would have been nice, but other than that it was great!

Jeff's Low Caye cottages are a great option for Caye Caulker! Very clean, comfortable, cute, and a quiet spot. The pool is nice and great interactions with guests in the other cottages. I enjoyed riding the bicycle every day. The on-site super Michael is very nice and provided assistance with arranging a golf cart when I needed a quick trip to the ferry. Great French restaurant nearby named Suggestion Gourmet that you should try out. Definitely recommend!

Very close to the ferry - closer than I expected. I may not have read the reviews perfectly - but I was pleasantly surprised to see a two burner stove and small kitchenette. Very close to a nice bar/live music/restaurant called Salty's (I think). Great place Thanks

Great location with a pool and air conditioning. Walkable to anything that you need. Bikes available also to explore the island. Comfortable beds. Felt private and safe. Highly recommended Carlos Tours.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at one of Jeff’s cottages, and I look forward to staying again in the future! The property is perfect for the price, the pool is great to enjoy, the location is perfect given it is set back from the crowded downtown, and the property manager is very attentive. Would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful space inside and outside. We absolutely loved it here. We walked around the entire island and felt that we had made the best choice. The staff are all so friendly. Will definitely come back!
