This was the most incredible Air BnB I have ever stayed in! It was absolutely beautiful. Everything was spotlessly clean and the house was very well appointed. The pool and rooftop cabana blew us away. There's ocean swimming from the private pier with kayaks and paddleboards available for free. The size was ideal for our 2 couples. The location is perfect. It is quiet at night but is just a short walk up the beach to all of the activity. The airport is about 150 yards away (so don't bother with the taxi). The ferry is a 5 minute ride or 15 minute walk. There is an incredible restaurant in the complex that must be tried. Communication before and during our stay was all I could have asked for. I will definitely be back again!

Amazing place .. I would highly recommend this accommodation. I was a bit nervous with the limited reviews but don’t worry and book this place. Israel and Mary the hosts were extremely pleasant and helpful with all our needs. You can walk anywhere from the residence . Have no worries when booking this Airbnb.

Sherilyn’s place was fantastic! We rented the extra apartment on the first floor and stayed with our 2 year old and 4 month old down there and 2 other couples upstairs. Great setup for parents to put kids to bed downstairs and make lots of noise upstairs without waking kids in apartment. We walked everywhere but roads require stable stroller. You can take a golf cart taxi any time also, Sharilyn provided a card on bulletin board. Pool has great shade for beginning and end of day and full sun mid-day. Also fantastic for kids. The couples we stayed with that didn’t have kids had an amazing time and so did we. Place is quiet at night and walkable to nightlife. I walked to the Split in 20 min. If taking a plane, airport is a few hundred yards down the road (though we never heard plan noise). WiFi is strong. Grocery store just down the road for some basics, but better ones in town. Overall definitely recommend her place! You’ll have a hard time leaving!

House is very big and comfortable perfect for a family or a group of friends. We felt very safe with the police station next door and the owner living downstairs. The pool was amazing after a hot day on the boat or at the beach and the temperature was just perfect. Can’t wait to go back.

Blue Hicaco was a dream for my family of four. Mary met us at the door with keys and instructions along with recommendations for food and fun activities for the kids. We adventured all day and then spent evenings cooling off at the pool. We loved our time there and definitely recommend the house. It was a little off the beaten path and that was perfect for us!

A perfect spot to stay at in Caye Caulker. Right by a super quiet beach in a quiet alley. Kids could just run to the beach on their own. Super close to everything. We rented a golf cart for our time mostly for ease and for fun and bc our kids are smaller but this house is within walking distance to everything, it’s a small island. Yard fenced in, that part was cool. House was great! Big and open, a full kitchen with all the things you’d need. We ran out of gas at one point and they were on it and sent the sweetest dude over to fill it for us. We loved Alvin :) and our host was great. One last thing (doesn’t have anything to do with the house, I just wish I had known this!).. the sand fleas are BRUTAL on Caye Caulker so if you’re sensitive to bug bites, slather your legs with oil or repellent oil and it will keep them from getting you. My bites were 10x itchier than mosquito bites!! They’re invisible little demons on the beaches there. Be aware. Get this house! You’ll love it

Great place to stay - walkable to everywhere on the island. Host was very communicative.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The studio apartments are very tastefully and thematically decorated. The king sized beds were super comfortable. The bathroom is really fun with pebble stone tiling. Crisp clean bedding and fluffy towels. We really lacked for nothing. It felt more like staying in a higher end hotel than an airbnb. The AC units were powerful. It is also in a quieter part of the Caye. We made good use of the bikes. Consider renting a golf cart a couple doors down from Go Slow. We loved the flexibility of some going on bikes and some on the golf cart. Feeding the rays at Iguana Reef was a HIGHLIGHT (3:30-6pm). Tarpon feeding is an experience too. Highly recommend Caveman Snorkeling- full day. We have snorkeled all over the world and this was definitely one of the best experiences. We loved Reina's grill for dinner (just a 3 minute walk away). You can also buy a drink at Magic Island and enjoy their spot for sunbathing. We do recommend the side streets for food.

The place was great, private locked yard with a pit for cooking. Before the Bahia so easy to get to every place on foot. Space was clean and everything worked. AC is extra, but the place didn’t get overly hot.

During our stay the owner stopped by the property and we had the pleasure to meet him and his brother-in-law. The property had a lot of local fruit trees that they educated us on and let us try. The house is right across from a local store and convenient for food, snacks, and drinks. The place was peaceful and we enjoyed the hammocks on the porch. Everything was exactly as described.

We had a lovely week in Caye Caulker. The location felt safe and secluded for a group of girls and had a very comfortable vibe. The hammock was a wonderful touch.

We liked our stay, as the area is quiet and the location is very good. Just a minute walk to good restaurants and the split. Hilda gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants when we arrived. The deck is great, loved to hang out there in the hammock as you can even see the ocean a little bit. The apartment might require a little maintenance here and there, but honestly I think this was the perfect place for us staying as backpackers wanting to avoid the bigger hostels and have some privacy to relax. There was so much space, too! Hilda was always available if we had questions. Would stay again.

Wir waren insgesamt eine Woche bei Bobbi und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders gut fanden wir das bequeme Bett, die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer, die Möglichkeit selbst zu kochen und die kostenlosen Fahrräder. Die Lage ist etwas abseits der Touristenstraße, was aber durch die Fahrräder kein Problem darstellte (5-7min ins zentrum, dafür war es auch nachts sehr ruhig in der Gegend) An der ein oder anderen Stelle gibt es natürlich Verbessergspotential, da die Wohnung insgesamt schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Zum Beispiel könnte man unserer Meinung nach die Polster bzw die Couch austauschen oder gründlich reinigen, da diese schon etwas mitgenommen gewirkt haben. Nochmal ein großes Dankeschön an die nette Frau (leider haben wir den Namen vergessen) in der unteren Wohnung, sie war wirklich herzlich und hat uns mit guten Tipps versorgt.

Great spot for four adults. This is a little bit of a walk (10 mins) outside of the main town area, but it made for a very quiet and relaxing time when we were there. The beds were very comfortable, AC worked great, and the deck/pool was a wonderful spot to relax. We loved our time at on Caye Caulker and would stay at this spot again.

the setting of the bird houses was amazing, away from tje crowds but easy biking distance to great places to eat. I appreciate having bikes there as part of the rental. Luis was there within minutes if we needed anything. Lucretia arranged our taxis and they were on time and very efficient. it took alot of stress off us having this done for us. We would definitely recommend this place to couples traveling to a beautiful place.

It was lovely and helpful that the host arranged for direct water taxi with our luggage to the house. The quiet refuge on the north island was a great contrast to the hustle of the south part of the Caye. While there getting around on foot and by water taxi worked well, unless you want to see the estuary on the very north side of the Caye, in which case a bike is a good idea. There were several walkable restaurant options and a small convenience store near the split. We didn’t use the kayak and paddle boards, but the pool was great for heat relief and AC in the bedrooms was nice too. Walter, the caretaker, was super helpful and brought us fresh coconuts / coconut water. Really enjoyed Mario’s snorkel tour.

We had a great stay and would definitely come back. We highly recommend watching the sunset at Iguana Reef Inn and feed the stingrays, then grab dinner at the street-side grill by the house/airport on Avenda Mangle.

Quiet, clean, great space. Excellent communication for our entire trip. Levita greeted us after a very long day. Glad we were away from the dusty, noisy center of town. Definitely rent the bikes even though they are a bit rusty!

What a lovely place! Such a gem, wonderful location with so much care put into creating and maintaining the space. We loved sitting on the upstairs deck, watching the water and listening to the birds. Lucretia was a generous and caring host who made our stay on Caye Caulker exceptional. Don’t hesitate to book a Birdhouse, there’s nowhere else quite like it on the island!

Casa Esmeralda provided an exceptional stay, offering a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. The property was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and thoroughly stocked with all essential amenities. Gil and Minerva clearly put a lot of care into this property, and it showed. Its prime location allowed for easy access to Caye Caulker's restaurants and attractions. We highly recommend Casa Esmeralda for a memorable and enjoyable vacation.

The Bohemian is amazing. We rented the entire place with a couple other families. It’s a private and beautiful location. The staff, including Zen who manages the property, is wonderful. We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere other than here when we return.
