We spent 2 wonderful nights at Parrots Nest. Our cabin was nestled right in the jungle, we fell asleep listening to the sounds of animals and birds. We felt right at home with the other travellers in the common areas. Theo and Marcus were friendly, welcoming and very willing to share their in depth local knowledge and recommendations. There is lots to do in the area, I wish we could have stayed longer! highly recommend, 10/10

Maria and Arturo were fantastic hosts! Some of the kindest people ever. Arturo even woke up and made us a super early breakfast at 5:30am before an early tour! Private room was spacious. Good bed. I was a lone to do a little bit of laundry. Everything was as expected. They went above and beyond. True Airbnb style where you get to know and communicate with your host!The house is right next to the road and since there is no AC, the windows stay open for air flow. So there is for sure some road noise at night. It did not bother us though, as the fan in the bedroom is loud and drains out most of the noise.

Location was amazing, centrally located downtown. Hot water was an added bonus as not all the hotels in the area offer this amenity. They were super responsive and allowed us to drop our bags off in the AM for an excursion, prior to checking in, later in the afternoon, My only complaint is the bed. I’ve literally never been in a squishy-er bed and I never thought I’d complain about a bed being too soft aha. But it was terrible- we literally were falling into each other all night. I honestly think it would be wayyyy more comfortable without the mattress topper

The Venus Hotel was exactly what they advertised. Our shower didn’t have hot water. I don’t know if it’s always that way but we made due. No complaints. They had potable water at the front desks for guests. A/C worked great. Bed was firm but wasn’t painful. Very clean, and friendly staff!

What a gem 💎 in Belmopan! Ms Elma was truly the most wonderful host - she really took great care of me and showed me the kindness, warmth and amazing food of Belize. Will be back without a doubt should I ever need to stay in Belmo again. Thank you thank you thank you!! For those wondering: the location is amazing, completely safe. And the ensuite room is HUGE. A real treat.

My sister and i had an amazing time at Juliet's cabin. It was comfortable, peaceful, and we had everything we needed. We loved hanging out on the porch in the morning with the amazing view listening to the birds (we saw a parrot and a toucan!). Miss Juliet and her husband were so very kind and caring. The breakfast she made us each morning was out of this world and the perfect way to start a busy day. The area was a little farther out but we just hired a cab driver Rudolpho who was the best and took us where we needed to go! Would 100% recommend staying here!!

Jorge and Elena were great...they were very kind and helpful. Elena makes some amazing breakfasts and always had lots of fresh food for us. Would definitely stay here again when I return. The home is large, quiet and very clean. Thank you both for your hospitality.

I had the best stay here and felt so welcome and safe. Consuelo is a great cook and very friendly and has lots of good suggestions and is very helpful. 100% satisfied with the lodging and the host. Thank you Consuelo.
