Thank YOU Mark & Miss Gabby! We enjoyed our stay, house as described, friendly neighbors/neighborhood. We took evening walks around the neighborhood to the soccer park and surrounding area. A lot of restaurants, small grocery stores nearby, easy to find & get around Belmopan. Miss Gabby was very helpful, friendly, and responsive to messages.

We really enjoyed our stay. This home was our home away from home. It was beautiful,cozy, and comfy. The beds were especially comfortable. There were a lot of hummingbirds and we got to enjoy seeing up to 8 monkeys on the back deck. Whenever we had a question Kaylynn responded quickly. Prior to our stay I inquired about a playpen and at first they didn't have one but she got us one before we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent it again.

Jackie's place was perfect for our group! We had a team of 9 doing humanitarian work in Belmopan and it was great to have the washer and dryer and kitchen to use after a full day's work. The place was clean and Jackie was very accomodating! We will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful weekend at this hidden gem! The atmosphere is amazing, and the view is just to the green. The outside deck is massive and much bigger than we expected and we spent hours on there just to enjoy the view and the tranquility. The cabin is very new and in excellent conditions. Perfectly located at the beginning of the Spanish Lookout, super easy to reach restaurants, supermarkets within a few minutes drive. Great place, great host, we'd be happy to come back!

Great quiet and off the beaten path place! Pool area was out of this world! Jay recommended a local chef to come and prepare dinner for my wife’s birthday, and that worked out great! The property was very large and secure with a locked gate. A local herd of Brahman cows strolled down the road every afternoon to find greener grass I think. The road to Jay’s was a little bumpy but I understand it was primarily due to the recent heavy rains, but they were actively repairing it during our stay.

What an excellent home base for exploring the interior of Belize! Easy access to Belize Zoo, ArtBox, and Guanacaste National Park, and only an hour from San Ignacio/Xunantunich. Daniel’s place is in a controlled-access neighborhood and felt very safe, considering we were 5 women traveling on our own. Beautiful home, well stocked and with amenities like a water dispenser on the fridge and a dishwasher. The pool was cleaned the evening we got there and felt so good after a day of exploring. There are some large dogs in the area that may wander into the yard but they didn’t bother us. We saw toucans and hummingbirds right from the yard. Highly recommend!

Lovely Airbnb and close to local amenities. Extra touches( vase of flowers). Hosts very attentive and communicative and helpful in booking excursions. Great well written host manual with recommendations! Highly recommend!!!!

Wow! Just...wow! This rental is probably the most beautiful place I've ever stayed at. The pictures don't do it justice, as for some reason, I thought it was fairly small. It isn't, in fact, it's very spacious. There's a beautifully-appointed kitchen, a large living room, a huge bedroom and a gorgeous bath (ooh, the shower is fabulous!). As far as the property, the grounds are well-kept and absolutely lovely. The place is private and safe, and waking up to the sounds of the jungle was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. You are centrally located to a ton of things to do, and the guidebook will give you all of the info you need. Communication was quick and clear. We did a birding tour with Andy, and cannot recommend him highly enough. To sum it up, if you can arrange your travel plans to be in the Christo Rey area, please do yourself a favor and book this extraordinary place!

This stay was even more beautiful than the photos! The property was exactly as advertised, and very, very clean, with every amenity you would need for a comfortable stay. Leda and Laura were our hosts, and were extremely helpful in recommending tours and transportation. It was a little far from town (a 25-ish minute walk down a main road), but taxis are easy to flag down and affordable. Would highly recommend this property!!

Alexander’s place was spotless, clean, and very comfortable! Perfect for two people. A/C and hot showers worked well. With Alexander’s help, we checked ourselves in and out, access worked perfectly. Keep in mind this house is in a residential neighborhood about a mile away from the main “tourist” part of town, but we found it very walkable and felt quite safe. Would highly recommend!

Mitten im Zentrum eine grüne Oase, gepflegt und alle sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Konnte unkompliziert früher einchecken, Francisco macht aufmerksam auf Tucane und andere Tiere im Garten, sogar mit Fernglas. Die Openairküche ist genial, mehr Pfannen wären super. Einziger Minuspunkt ist die Durchgangsstrasse, aber das wird ja so kommuniziert. Ich würde auf jedefall wieder bei Francisco buchen. Danke für alles.

We arrived at this Airbnb on a very hot, hot afternoon. It was so easy to find because there were so many signs for Guava Limb. After walking up the stairs we entered the area and were so grateful for the fans and two air conditioning units in two of the bedrooms. My husband really appreciated the cold beers left waiting as well! The place was perfect for what we needed. It had a small kitchen which we utilized, good wi-fi, and the location was amazing for us. We like to get out in the town we are staying in and see how the locals live. Everything was walkable. The Market - truly amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer so we could have bought and enjoyed all of the delicious looking fruits and vegetables. We walked the Main Street area and the bridge as people were going to work and walking to school. This was such an enjoyable experience - we learned so much that we would have missed had we stayed at a location other than this one.

Beautiful, serene area. Very quiet and peaceful. Easy to find and get into unit. Extremely clean and uncluttered. Exactly as described with a small area to heat food. AC worked well. Good cell service in the area and solid Wi-Fi- the deck was a phenomenal place to get in a morning of work!

I had a pleasant stay at Chechem Suites. Ms. Nelida was lovely and ensured I had everything I needed during my stay. The place was clean, had supplies, and was close to the main road but just off of it to still feel peaceful. They have three dogs, who were friendly and very chill. They made sure I arrived safely from the gate to the apartment every time I came home. The house is a short 10 minute walk to downtown but beware that the walk back is up a hill. Nevertheless, if you’re traveling solo like I did, it might be best to come back before 8pm, as there aren’t a lot of lights on the road. With all that said, I had a great stay and when I return I’d love to stay here again.

Luciana’s was a great place to stay. There were only three of us so we had plenty of room, but this could easily fit a party of six. We did so much during the day, I wish we could enjoy the patio a little more, but it was very nice to know that we would come home after long day of touring to a nice, comfortable, and cool place. The AC in each room works great. Nice and clean. Maria‘s communication beforehand was very helpful, and we had a very easy check in. This place is probably about five minutes driving from the center of town. But if you wanted to walk or didn’t have a car, I bet it would be a pretty easy walk as well. Upon arrival, there was a jug of water in the fridge for us. That was very helpful after a long day of traveling. We then went to a nearby supermarket for water and snacks. Easy instructions everywhere to use all appliances. WiFi is fast. Would definitely stay again should my travels bring me back to San Ignacio!

Cozy Flat is a comfortable spot with good ac in one bedroom and the living room. There are two outdoor spaces, one covered with a hammock and clothesline, one good for stargazing. The kitchen was ok. No microwave and only a few pans, but it was no problem, there was a coffee maker and coffee provided. A car seems essential in San Ignacio. San Ignacio has so many great restaurants and often an activity includes lunch. Do not miss the ATM tour. We also loved our visit to the Lodge at Chaa Creek for butterflies, the museum, and dinner (a bit $$$, but a beautiful setting and our special dinner). The Saturday market was great.
