A nice stay in a historic home. Teddi was very friendly and we enjoyed our overnight stay in her lovely home. The room had everything we needed, including a nice assortment of snacks.

This was the first time we stayed in a private suite within someone’s home. We weren’t sure how this would go but from the minute Mina greeted us, we knew we made the right choice! Mina was so welcoming, and her home and our private suite (bed/bath) were wonderful! Super clean, super comfortable, and super stylish! The entire home was just bathed in a peaceful feeling. And the pool…how nice to have pool access! Mina’s two dogs, Daisy and Bowser, are so well behaved and if you’re up for it, they do love a good rub behind the ears and some extra attention. If not, they are perfectly happy to give you space as well. The location is close to a lot of cute towns and amenities (Wegman’s is a short drive, as is downtown Bel Air and Aberdeen). We will definitely look to stay with Mina when we return to the area.

very much enjoyed our stay... complete with complimentary fresh bread, bacon/eggs, and jar of farm fresh milk! bedrooms clean and comfortable; really only 3 private bdrms, other is open floor space for air mattresses; full kitchen clean, tho could use a few more real coffee mugs! :) nice place to stay, not far from local activities; nice park/playground/picnic/fishing/boating area nearby (Muddy Run Park), and a must stop: Evans Chocolate Candies (Willow Street, PA, just up the road); thanks to Host David for prompt and friendly communications!

Michelangelo is one of a kind and one of the very best hosts on all of Airbnb! I am very pleased to call him a friend and give Independence House my highest possible recommendation! Superb!

We had a fantastic stay at Eugenie and Keith's place in Baltimore. She is a delightful host, and the space was so welcoming, bright, cozy, and spotlessly clean. This is definitely in my top 5 favorite airbnb places we've ever been, including one in Rome! The little kitchenette has everything you might need to get your day going, and the bedroom is so peaceful and quiet with such a comfy bed. The bathroom is beautiful and the water is deliciously hot. I also enjoyed the cheery yellow door in the living room that leads to a stunning front of the house area that is bursting with plant life! The app they use for the door to lock and unlock works very well. It was a wonderful airbnb for us while we stayed in Baltimore. Would absolutely stay there again!!!

We spent Labor Day weekend here and loved it! The house is right on the river which made for a beautiful morning sunrise and we took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards available with our rental. We also enjoyed the fire pit at night. Our two boys (13 and 15) loved being able to fish right off the dock in the backyard. They caught spot, catfish, and tiny eels. The town of Chestertown was cute and we enjoyed breakfast at Modern Stone Aged Kitchen and lunch at Stam’s. Highly recommend this airbnb!

My wife and I came into town for Homecoming at Morgan. The house location was perfect, and it's easy to get on the highway. This place was definitely clean and smelled amazing. My wife and I were very impressed when we walked on the floor there was absolutely no dirt or debris on our feet (that's clean!). I would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and are grateful for the obvious thoughtfulness Dwayne & Chandler have put into creating a space for couples like us to have a nice little getaway. We enjoyed the artwork and the amenities so generously provided, including comfortable linens, boardgames (backgammon and cribbage), a nice scented candle, a gift card for the nearby Mercury Cafe (excellent selection for vegetarians!) and other thoughtful touches. It was a privilege to utilize the space for co-creating a loving weekend. Location truly has the best of both worlds, with the Mercury Cafe being a great place to congregate and catch a bite or a sip, but the room itself being set apart. A brightly-lit, old-fashioned cobblestone alley carves a narrow path between two buildings so that both the B&B and the cafe are tucked away in a private alley. We will always remember our stay here fondly and we will send others with a ringing endorsement.

Barbara is incredible. Wonderful host, super responsive and available with so many recommendations for the area. She is the sweetest human being who makes you feel right at home! The place was so clean and homey too. The chocolates & wine were the perfect touch. Can’t wait to spend another night at her place!

We were welcomed and directed by Wilma in the midst of a thunderstorm. She was so helpful and gracious. There were fresh, yummy brownies waiting for us as a delicious treat. They also supplied eggs, butter, a fresh loaf of homemade bread. and fresh milk. The beds were so comfortable. We haven't slept that well in a long time. Our 7 year old grandson loved exploring the farm and playing basketball with several of the host's sons. We enjoyed the conversations and hospitality. We hope to visit again.

OVERALL, A GREAT AND COMFORTABLE STAY! I loved the location and the discretion of the space. I felt safe and well protected. Only thing, if you’re over 6 ft tall, be very careful to not bump your head upon entry into the space and into the bathroom. Both are very small in height and I nearly bumped my head a few times coming out of the shower; but otherwise, I’d highly recommend and I will be back for another stay next time I return to Baltimore!

Our family had a fantastic stay! The property is stunning inside and out and Sara is so thoughtful and stocked the fridge with milk, cream, butter, local yogurt and bread, fruit, homemade granola, etc! We felt so welcomed!

Sira and Bob are the nicest people you can hope to meet. There home is beautiful, clean and comfortable. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I will definitely come back. I recommend this home, if you are ever in Dover.

Where do I begin... Such a beautiful home, they were beyond kind, extremely hospitable. Renate was so kind to take me on a special journey for me to be able to take in a special part of Delaware. They both made my husband and I feel right at home. We definitely will be back to stay if we ever visit Delaware again.

Adorable little farm house, cute and relaxing. Perfect little yard for my dog to hang out, porch with chairs and a grill to relax at the end of the day. Super easy to find and she was very clear with I instructions. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful and clean and we loved spending time seeing the cats, cows and chickens. Glenda and her daughter were very nice and took the time to give us recommendations for things to do and places to eat. I highly recommend staying here!

Gina is a wonderful host, and the space is amazingly decorated with many extra details. I appreciated her checking in to see how I was enjoying my stay. The breakfast offerings were delicious and made you feel as if you were staying in a friend’s home. I would highly recommend staying in this location!

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa’s place! The home was immaculately clean and incredibly cozy, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the area. The surroundings were beautiful and made the whole experience more special. Lisa was exceptionally welcoming and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed, and even offered helpful recommendations when trying to find a dinner spot nearby. Her baking skills are top tier - my fiancé and I loved the peach muffins! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable getaway!
