This home met our expectations. It was on the river and provided a spectacular view. So many birds and ducks to watch The layout of the home was wonderful for our two families. Two bedrooms at one end and two at the other. The kitchen was furnished with high quality silverware , dishes and plenty of serving dishes and cookware. The only difficulty we found was a lack of towel bars in the bathroom No place to hang bath and hot tub towels. By the way my grandchildren enjoyed the hot tub even in 30 degree weather We highly recommend this home for your consideration when staying in the area

This place was perfect for a weekend getaway! The kitchen was well equipped. The entire place was very clean and I LOVED sitting in the sun room and looking out to the water. it was so relaxing.

We had a great time at the lake house. We could easily spread out. The two dining areas were great for the kids. We enjoyed the hammocks and the kayaks. The host was very friendly and responsive.

Home was in a beautiful location and very quite neighbors. We came into town under sad circumstances for a funeral and having a quiet and spacious place to stay is just what we needed. The host provides an extremely detailed welcome book, and very responsive to messages. We appreciated that he was able to accommodate us under short notice and that there were no issues.

Angela and James were super hospitable! The rental is a carport away from their home but we felt like we had our own space indoors and enjoyed fishing and kayaking on the river. The fire pit was a hit with the kids at night - we made s’mores and shot fireworks. The interior was plenty of space for our family of five and we were able to easily feed the ping-pong table in the living room for a night and the boys wanted to play. Kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to fix some quick meals. Bring your own cutting board and a sharp knife. :) Would return again!

Stephanie has been a great host the house was excellent for what we needed. We had a house fire at our home and this was just the place to stay while they were fixing ours back up. She was so helpful and understanding about what we were going through and helped us every way she could. Can’t say enough for her and this place so beautiful and a lot of room to walk the dogs was truly a godsend to me and my family. I would recommend staying here anytime. Great house with amazing view and amenities !! Dave and Destinie are very responsive to our need and very promptly communication to ensure all is good here. There was some issues during our stay ( which is not the host fault) but Destinie and Dave were able to promptly respond and take appropriate action to remedy the issue despite it was late at night (10pm to 12 midnight). we would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for beautiful view, and great location to different natural attractions in surrounding area.

Great place to stay and very clean. It is kinda out in the middle of nowhere we felt like as far as a town to make a run to get something but we had mostly everything before getting there. We stayed for the event going on at Indian Mountain Atv Park which is about 35 min out so parking was a little tight for 3 trucks and trailers but owners were plenty helpful in letting us use the backyard as well. Overall no complaints.

Mark's home was amazing! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need for meals. The view of the lake from the deck was gorgeous. The house was very spacious and could easily host two families. It was an easy jumping off point to get to beautiful hikes at Little River Canyon and Desoto State Park, and we were just 10 minutes from Mentone. We enjoyed grilling on the deck, the wood burning hot tub, and having family game night after a long day of hiking. We look forward to coming back in the warmer months to take advantage of the kayaks!

I stayed here for a quick getaway to celebrate my dog’s 5th birthday, and it was perfect! The location on the lake was amazing, especially with our private dock, which gave us the perfect spot to practice some recalls too. The large, fully fenced front yard was another highlight, we loved spending our mornings and evenings together out front. The house had everything I needed, with thoughtful amenities throughout, making the stay super comfortable. Even though it was just a short two-night visit, I truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views. I also ran into Sandra a few times, and each interaction was warm and pleasant. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband had a job installation near this home. We booked it almost last minute and always grab insurance. Unfortunately, my husband fell ill and the job install was given to someone else. We canceled within 24 hours of arrival, but that was too late for a full refund. We tried to submit a claim for the insurance, but Airbnb has been Completely absent from everything. Lauren was absolutely amazing in everything she communicated being upfront and honest about all, including the fact that the house did not have Wi-Fi at the moment. However, Airbnb is falling short with their hosts, so the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing, and that is not fair to hosts. There are also glitches in their system that need to be corrected with dates not being blocked out when they should’ve been. Overall, I think this house for the area, from looking at it is a great value, and stands above the rest in cuteness, especially given the fact that it is on the water! Enjoy…

Perfectly perfect. Exactly what we needed for our family coming into town for Thanksgiving.

Jeanne og John er meget søde og imødekommende mennesker. Meget hjælpsomme og hurtige i deres kommunikation. Huset var en skøn lille perle i smukke omgivelser. Man kan nye udsigten og den flotte solnedgang fra huset. Søen er dejlig. Man kan bade og fiske. Vi var enda heldige at låne deres private badebro og badedyr. Tak for jeres venlighed. Huset virker stører end på billederne. Dejligt rent og mange gode køkkenfaciliteter. Kan kun anbefale huset til andre. Meget skønt og roligt område med udsigt til bomuldsmarker.

My family of 6 has a great Labor Day weekend at this lake house. The boat launch was extremely close and we were able to enjoy fishing the whole time. Would definitely stay here again.

The surrounding area was beautiful and the studio was sooo nice! And the owners were very nice, and checked in through text to make sure we didn't need anything. And they have a hospitality book in the studio as well as through an email that has a lot of great suggestions if you're looking for something to do. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Our family has been to Lake Weiss for years. Everyone loved this house and the amenities😁 All requested that we return for next summer! Needed to call our host once and received an immediate response. Our stay couldn’t have been better!!!
