This was a great place for a weekend with friends and family to hang out by the water. There was a decent amount of cleaning we had to do at check out that was required despite the cleaning fee. Other than that, the place was beautiful and Evan was very responsive and accommodating which we really appreciated. I would absolutely stay again!

A great getaway with amazing views out all windows. Extremely comfortable home and sleeping arrangements. We will rent again for sure. Sandy was so available and quick to respond on any questions. Thank you for a great stay

This was such a wonderful air bnb all the way around. It was fully stocked with everything you could think of. The kids loved everything about it. From the garage with games and all the board games to fishing out side. The outside porch had a gate which was awesome for the toddler. All the rooms were beautiful, the kids especially loved the bunkbed. We will definitely be coming back during the summer. I would also say this is a beautiful place to just get away for the weekend with out kids as well. The host Danelle was so sweet and responds very fast as well. Definitely a 10/10 for the host and the listing!🤗 If you’re even thinking about it just book it!! You won’t regret it!😊

Drue, Being unendingly drenched in the constant cacophony of the horns, sirens, bleeps, boops, screeches, slams, and otherwise abrasive attacks on our senses that comes from our everyday existence can sometimes drive us to seek refuge deeper under the covers than we ever realized. It's not until we hear the calm whisper of the tress, or a content chorus of frogs in the dark, or the casual flutter of the wings of a cardinal returning to the nest that we can be drawn back into the light, into life -real LIFE- and rediscover the beauty God gave us with this incredible Universe. From the inviting warmth of the wood fireplace and playful selection of outdoor activities to the comforting massage of the hot tub and wide open views of the lakeside deck, it felt like we had booked a weekend in a daydream. So, thank you for opening up your lovely lake home to those of us who need respite from the grind in order rediscover those subtle reminders of the wonder and beauty of life.

We had a wonderful weekend enjoying the peaceful surroundings and several amenities offered! Feeling right at home, everything we could possibly need was in reach! We grilled, fished, canoed, went on walks, enjoyed the local BBQ and generally had an awesome time! The entire family had many compliments on our time spent together relaxing in this lovely home. Highly recommend this host and this location!

This was an amazing house and stay right on the lake! Beautiful patio with tons of lake and patio entertainment including kayaks, games, outdoor cooking, televisions and more. We went with a group of 6 and had a blast, built a fire, fished, went kayaking and enjoyed the peacefulness and fun of the house. Definitely would stay here again and recommend it if you are looking for an awesome lake house!

Had such a great weekend! It was a bit rainy and chilly over the weekend but even then we had an amazing time in the jacuzzi! I definitely recommend this location, great space, amazing area and I can only imagine it during the summer! Thanks again for such a great stay!

Pictures do not do justice on how nice the home was! Tons of room for a large group, large kitchen, comfortable beds, and weather permitting a beautiful sunset from the dock. This home has definitely been added to our favorites list and we will for sure be returning!!

Great little cabin with a great view. We stayed in what would probably be called "off season" so it was a bit too chilly and windy to do much outside, but we weren't there on vacation, so it was ok. Cabins are very quiet, even in windy conditions. Bed was comfortable. Even though it is a "tiny home" there is everything needed to stay for an extended time.

This was a very nice place, very clean and had anything you could want or need. The host was very nice and I would definitly come back to this place and stay again. It was very quiet at night and felt very safe. The decor was excellent, very cute.

5-Star Stay at the Perfect Fishing Getaway! We had an amazing stay at this cozy two-room cottage on Lake Athens! It was the perfect spot for a fishing getaway. The dock was ideal for tying up our boat, making it easy to head out early in the morning or relax on the water in the afternoon. The sunsets over the lake were absolutely stunning—something we looked forward to every night as we sat on the porch and reminisced. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking up fresh meals, and the outdoor smoker was a fantastic bonus for preparing some delicious meals. The friendly neighbors even shared a few great fishing spots with us, which made our trip even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a peaceful lakeside retreat with great fishing, beautiful views, and all the comforts of home, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!

This was a nice place and beautiful view. We were looking to have a place where we could just stay and not have to get out for entertainment. This house was perfect!! We fished, got out in the kayaks, sat on the porch. They have a big table in sunroom for games and puzzles. Kitchen well stocked and two bedrooms are comfortable. We would definitely stay again. Overall, a very cozy, beautiful home!!!

Lovely weekend spent at Courtney’s place! The rental was as-described, and my family had fun fishing on-site. My favorite feature was the sunroom. Had a great view of the backyard, included laundry facilities. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfy. It was a great little place to simply unplug, watch tv, work on a puzzle. Thanks!

I'm so happy we found this adorable cottage by the lake. The beds were comfortable, spacious clean house, and beautiful views made the trip get away special. Mai, the host, was very responsive to my texts. I highly recommend everyone to book this beautiful house by the lake. It's a great place to recharge.

We had a great time and there were plenty of things to do to keep the kids entertained so we spent a lot of time outside!

This was very nice and very responsive host, thank goodness because we were tired. Before getting there I thought the price might be a little high but this place was very clean and tidy dust free even. Felt like it was worth the extra effort that had obviously been put into this beautiful space. Thank you host for a comfy clean place that our family felt safe. Loved the deer and ducks too!

Our group spent a weekend at Bruce’s place for a mini retreat and we couldn’t ask for better. All three cabins are as described and well maintained and thoughtful equipped with everything we needed. We had a pleasant time cooking together and found the kitchens are supplied with so much quality cookware and more. It feels like Bruce and his team went above and beyond to make sure this is a great place to make people feel at home, which we certainly felt that way! Highly recommend this place!

Nice little cabin on a stock pond. Great place to take your kids. A lot of onsite activities. Perfect for teaching kids how to fish.

We had a great stay, the lake house was clean and the host even bought some toys to keep my kids entertained while we were there. Everything was well kept.

Went to Cici’s cabin for some fishing and was not disappointed. Ended up catching a 6.7 pound bass right off the dock and numerous large bluegills. I also enjoyed canoeing around the main pond and catching some smaller bass. The cabin was clean and inviting with everything I needed and Kevin made me feel right at home. I would definitely recommend Cici’ cabin and hope to return one day.
