Marina’s tiny little hideaway is in the best location. There’s so much to see and do right around every corner, and you truly couldn’t ask for a better location. She also provides fresh fruit and some cold drinks if needed, which were very much appreciated. The place is clean and comfortable with a lot of beautiful old charm, but the amenities are modern. If you are not from the area and thinking of driving into the city, maybe think again. The driving is difficult and the city now has a ZTL zone enforcement, which means you have to go through a process of paying for entrance on each day (except Sundays). It’s not expensive but it’s a bit of a hassle, and more importantly, the driving is stressful. Note: This info is nothing to do with our lovely apartment specifically, but worth mentioning if anyone is planning on doing what we did.

L’esperienza nella villa di Gianluca è stata semplicemente indimenticabile. Immersa in un'oasi di quiete, la villa offre una tranquillità senza pari, ideale per chi desidera staccare dalla frenesia quotidiana. La piscina, perfettamente curata, è il vero cuore della casa: trascorrere le giornate a bordo vasca con una splendida vista sul mare è stato rigenerante. Il panorama è mozzafiato, con il mare che si estende all'orizzonte, offrendo spettacoli incredibili soprattutto al tramonto. Di notte, il cielo stellato è stato la ciliegina sulla torta. La mancanza di inquinamento luminoso ha reso possibile ammirare una volta celeste punteggiata da stelle, creando un'atmosfera magica e romantica. In sintesi, questa villa è perfetta per chi cerca un rifugio elegante e rilassante, dove il mare, la natura e la pace si incontrano in un perfetto equilibrio. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci!

The house is large, reasonably furnished, with all the amenities (including kitchen scissors!). The washer is old and odd, but it works, which is what matters. The beds were VERY comfortable. The terraces are beautiful, and the view spectacular. We had almost nonstop sunshine, so got to enjoy a lot of time outside, listening to the birds and admiring the Mediterranean. It’s a convenient location for touring the north and central parts of the island, and Martino had some great recommendations for interesting places to see. Other guests have commented on road up from the highway: it’s a steep, nerve-wracking 1-minute drive - the first or second time. Then you figure it out - stay in first gear, with your foot on the accelerator. We come from flat land, and we did it. You can too. We visited in February, which can be chilly. We put the heat on in the living room while we were there; turned heat on in the bedrooms just until bed; used lots of blankets. We would love to return.

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche mit der Familie in der Unterkunft verbracht. Die Aussicht ist unschlagbar und das Haus gut und stilvoll eingerichtet. Morgens noch etwas frisch, die Sonne gelangt erst im Laufe des Vormittags auf die Terrasse, aber im Sommer muss die Unterkunft ein absoluter Traum sein. Vor allem die Outdoordusche und Outdoorküche sind schöne Extras. Auch in der Nebensaison haben wir uns zu viert sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder!

An amazing getaway! A pristine, rustic, and cozy sicilian home nestled in a citrus and olive orchard with a 200 meter walk to the beach. Quiet, except for the birds and the occasional car. Full kitchen to cook what you learned at at a local cooking class and a great family run restaruant an few minutes walk away. Close to main roads for adventures out and a train station about a kilometer away if you prefer. The host was friendly and helpful with recomendations and understanding Sicily if it is your first time. He spoke English very well and a variety of other languages. This was a great location to live and breathe Sicillian culture and to have a quiet place to rest. Overall an amazing countryside stay that was still close to Cefalu and Palermo. Highly recommended!

Antonio was a lovely host who provided us with a tonne of recommendations, with fast replies. We absolutely loved our time at Olivaus, especially the pool area, comfy beds, and friendly cats who quickly became part of our family. The ping-pong table provided much entertainment on the days that weren’t pool weather. 10/10 would come again!

My daughter and I had a brilliant week in this gorgeous place. The host, Emanuele, and his parents couldn't have been more helpful, with suggestions of places to go, details about the house and prompt and helpful answers to queries. The parents met us on arrival with stunning snacks, huge smiles and a wealth of information, all conveyed without a common language... with a bit of help from Google Translate!! The house is just lovely, very well appointed, and the garden and pool just heavenly! We didn't travel far afield as the pool and beach provided all we needed, including That's Amore, a delightful restaurant on the beach. We were there out of season so it was very quiet which suited us! But we did also sample the more touristy side of life in beautiful Cefalù just 15 minutes drive away (or easily accessible by train). There are sites to see, beach front bars, cafés and restaurants, gift shops etc and a climb up La Rocca overlooking the town is well worth it. We will be back!

The Adil’s apartment is like on the photos. The two principal rooms are big. One with 3 beds and the other one with 2 beds. The third room don’t have windows and a double bed. The kitchen is small, but enough for preparing a quick lunch or a breakfast. It is really near Central Station, so it’s very easy to arrive by train from the airport. Adil answers you quickly when you have questions and always try to help you.

Für unsere vier Wochen Palermo hätten wir uns keine passendere Unterkunft wünschen können: die Wohnung liegt in einem belebten Viertel, in fußläufiger Nähe zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Caffèbars. Die hohen, kühlen Räume sind im Sizilianischen Sommer wahrscheinlich herrlich erfrischend. Die Kommunikation mit Sergio war sehr zuverlässig und freundlich. Jede Frage wurde sofort beantwortet, für jedes noch so kleine Problem hat Sergio eine Lösung gefunden. Danke für den besonderen Aufenthalt!

Da Michele siamo state bene in una zona meravigliosa a piedi si può andare ovunque. Il terrazzo è particolarmente incantevole. Michele e Silvia sono stati molto gentili

Fernando's flat was big and clean. We spent a lovely week there. The location is right in the market area, and free parking is about a 10 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend staying here

Such a cute and quiet place to get away from the city just what we needed! Tania was so nice and we were able to hang out in the garden, pick the fig trees, have eggs from her chickens! Just incredible experience!

The apartment is located in the best Palermo’s area, everything reachable by foot and amazing bars and restaurants few minutes walking distance. The apartment is perfect for 2-4 people, everything you need is inside and it is super cozy and beautiful. On top of it, Enrico is a very helpful and kind host. I highly recommend this place.

Un grand merci à Antonio et Federica pour leur accueil chaleureux et très professionnel. Ils ont été à l'écoute, réactifs quand nous avions besoin de quelque chose et particulièrement charmants! Rosellina und Riccardo sind wunderbare Hosts, die alles dafür getan haben, unseren Aufenthalt einmalig schön zu machen. Das Haus ist mit allem eingerichtet, was man braucht, die Küche hervorragend ausgestattet. Drei Terrassen sorgen dafür, dass es von morgens bis abends Sonnenschein gibt und der direkte Zugang zum Meer ist herrlich. Obwohl nach hinten an einer Strasse gelegen, ist es im weiter unten gelegenen Haus absolut ruhig. Das Haus ist, als Ferienhaus der Familie, persönlich eingerichtet, was aber nicht stört, da mit Geschmack gemacht. Rosellina und Riccardo haben alles getan, um uns den Aufenthalt unvergesslich zu machen. Sie waren stets da, wenn wir sie kontaktiert haben, haben uns den Nachbarn vorgestellt und uns viel interessantes über die Gegend erzählen können. Ein einmaliger Ort!! Ein ganz kleiner Nachteil ist höchstens die Strasse zu den nächsten Dörfern, die nicht zum spazieren gehen einlädt. Ein Auto wäre daher von Vorteil, ein Parkplatz ist vorhanden.

Anna and her husband were very welcoming and great to communicate with before and during our stay. Great people. The house is beautiful and you really feel at home. It's a 10 minute drive to Cefalu centre, with the house still being very private and quiet with a stunning view overlooking the city and sea. We were a big family visiting and there was plenty of space for all of us, both outside and inside. We would gladly visit again.

Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve dans la villa Normanno! L’intérieur est spacieux et confortable, la piscine est somptueuse, et surtout la vue est à couper le souffle ! Pino nous a réservé un très bon accueil et est très sympa et réactif. Mention spéciale pour Salvina, la super cheffe-coque qui nous a fait découvrir l’authentique cuisine sicilienne grâce a ses délicieux plats cuisinés avec passion. En plus de cela, elle est chaleureuse et dévouée: elle n’a pas hésité à m’accompagner chez la pédiatre lorsque notre bébé est tombé malade, elle nous a prêté son aérosol et a cuisiné un délicieux gâteau pour les enfants. Salvina est une perle. Le personnel de ménage est également très compétent et sympathique. Ce voyage fut vraiment une expérience unique avec un service de qualité et irréprochable. Nous n’avons qu’une seule envie: y retourner au plus vite!

Maria è un'ospite meravigliosa. Soggiornare a Casa Baffo è stato come stare in famiglia. Maria si sente come una zia. Ho anche amato molto la vista, era spettacolare e non appena abbiamo fatto il check-in abbiamo deciso di semplificare i nostri piani e semplicemente rilassarci. Immagina il suono delle campane delle pecore in montagna e nella valle. Maria e Litterio hanno anche un cane meraviglioso di cui mi sono innamorata. Danke Fabrizio für die wunderbare entspannende Zeit in deiner Unterkunft! Der Ausblick ist phenomenal. Die Altstadt von Cefalù und den Stadtstrand erreicht man in wenigen Autominuten. Dadurch das die Unterkunft abgelegener ist, genießt man viel Ruhe! Der eigene Garten und die umliegenden Olivenhaine sind großartig. Es war wunderbar!

Caterina's villa on the sea is what every vacationer dreams of when planning a trip to Sicily. A gorgeous gated home with all the amenities, in a spectacular location overlooking the tranquil blue Mediterranean sea. Every aspect of the home was perfect, from the spacious patio to the well-appointed kitchen. Caterina met us when we checked in and walked us through the home, explaining everything. She even had an amazing welcome spread of breads, fruits and wine waiting for us, which was so necessary after our long day of travel. The home's location in the Capo Gallo Nature Preserve is the perfect place to retreat to after a hectic day of activity. We were vacationing with my elderly parents on the their first trip to Europe and we really appreciated the ability to stretch out and relax in our own home-away-from-home, rather than just a hotel room. We enjoyed breakfasts and dinners we prepared ourselves, and only ate out for lunch. The home was perfect for our first trip to Sicily.

Luca was an amazing house. The ambiance of the house is incredible and even the cats on the property add to the overall experience. Thank you so much for having us!
