The BEST stay! I grew up in the area and brought some friends back to see my hometown for the first time, and this was the perfect place. Everything is exactly as listed, even better. Walkable to all the downtown shops, squeaky clean, an insane amount of space, and coffee and snacks waiting for us. The kiddos LOVED the playroom upstairs, we enjoyed a round of uno, and the patio was the best place to be to enjoy the beautiful weather. It was so comfy and felt just like home. Thank you so much for the most wonderful weekend, we will be back!

Really cool house, everything was good. You can walk to town. Two of the bedrooms are tandem rooms upstairs, so you have to go through one to get to the other, and the ceilings are low. Perfect house for a lot of people.

We had the most amazing Thanksgiving getaway at the Cottage by the Lake! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the cozy, welcoming atmosphere and breathtaking views of the lake. The cottage was immaculate and well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare our holiday feast. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights was how dog-friendly the property was. Our furry family member had the best time exploring the spacious yard. It’s not always easy to find accommodations that genuinely cater to pets, but this cottage went above and beyond. The quiet, peaceful surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for family bonding, were unforgettable. We are so grateful for this beautiful place and can’t wait to return for another stay. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat!

When we got to the home none of the restrooms had toilet paper and we could not find it anywhere in the home. So we did run down to as store to get some. The included body wash/shampoo/etc were basically empty bottles, luckily we brought our own. Other than that, the stay was great, hot tub and fire pit were nice.

100% recommended, it's a beautiful, cozy place to get away from the routine and very familiar.

I highly recommend staying at Shannon’s place if you’re ever in the area. My husband, myself, and our three children felt right at home. Shannon is a very responsive host and she was very helpful. The location is in perfect proximity to downtown Piqua. If you’re looking for a place to eat during your stay here, I suggest the Crooked Handle Brewery. The home is very clean and well stocked. We will definitely return if ever traveling through the area again. Thanks Shannon for such great hospitality!!
