Lovely home and walking distance to everything!

Stylish house on a beautiful lot close to Lake Leelanau. The interior and exterior design are outstanding, the outdoor sitting and BBQ area are fantastic, the views are amazing, the house is tranquil and gives you peace of mind. Amazing place to relax, go for activities, enjoy the outdoors and spend quality time. Sean was proactive and responsive in communication. We felt right at home and would always come back.

Great place to stay for larger groups. wasn't riding this trip but trails are right there.

Spent the weekend here for my wife's birthday with some friends. Great location for winery tours/local food, and everything you would need inside and out. Roger is a very responsive host and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay as welcoming as possible. Plenty of room inside the house for sleeping for 3 adult couples, could've even fit a 4th no problem in the loft. Home was spacious and the screened in porch is a great hangout spot overlooking the lake.

We could not have asked for a better location and accommodations for 4 adults and 2 children on our first family vacation. The house is located just off the road on a peaceful and quiet very large lot. The bedding was so comfortable making for very restful nights. We had easy access to multiple beaches, restaurants playgrounds and wineries. When we chose to buy local fish and cook at home we found the kitchen well apportioned and stocked. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this little piece of heaven in Leland. PS: we enjoyed our daily visit with her chickens and she was generous to share the most delicious eggs. We were spoiled by everything this place has to offer.

Everything was exactly as described, easy to find with clear instructions to get in, and perfectly dog friendly! Flat sheets were even provided to cover the furniture for our pup so all of us felt right at home. The fenced in backyard and where the hot tub was placed were the best part for us. Our dog was able to zoom around while we relaxed in the hot tub. The motion sensored lights allowed us to always see where she was and we felt safe knowing the property was securely fenced in for her to enjoy. We will definitely be back. Thank you Amanda!

My family and our dog came to Northport for a family wedding at Willowbrook Mill and had an AMAZING stay at the Straubel House. The house was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The dog loved the fenced yard and we were like a block off the bay! We could walk everywhere including to the venue of the wedding. Octavia was friendly and helpful - wonderful host!!

This is a lovely little place that was perfect for a getaway. The place was very clean and had plenty of amenities to make us feel comfortable and at ease. There were several places within walking distance, but the weather did not cooperate. The hot tub was fantastic! Only side note I would make is that if you’re a light sleeper, I would recommend bringing some ear plugs and/or a white noise machine for the road noise outside. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at "the cabin!" Lots of room and personalized space for those who wanted it. Good bathroom space and really appreciated the laundry and kitchen areas.

Mathew’s place was wonderful and it was so close to the lifts… we loved his cozy slope side chalet! We will definitely book again in the future!

Chelsea was very welcoming and accommodating! We spent a few days at Shanty Creek for a conference and went skiing at Schuss Mountain. Great location for both activities! Highly recommend staying here- Chelsea was a wonderful host!

Just back from a 3 night stay at Hall's Haven and it was a perfect spot for our two families of 4, ages 7 thru 50! The welcome treats were such a nice added touch and much appreciated. Lots of space for kids and adults to spread out and plenty of toys and games for everyone. Lots of space for ski gear too! We loved having fires and cooking big meals together in the kitchen, which had everything we could possibly need. There was SO much snow and every window had a beautiful view of the snowy woods. Quiet, lovely neighborhood near the Lakeview Inn and just 5 minutes to Schuss Village for skiing. The sauna was an added luxury after a day of skiing! We had the best weekend together! Great place for the family. Plenty of things to do at the house. Also not too far from Traverse City or Boyne Mountain. Would definitely stay here again!!

we loved everything about this location. the decorations, fully equipped with every little thing you'd need, hot tub 🔥, sauna,🔥! Grumpy Bear is a retreat to remember!

Autumns place was great! We stayed as a group of 4 adults and each had our own space. There are lots of stairs but we enjoyed the separate living spaces for each of us. Everything was clean, beds were all comfortable and great pillows. Two balconies made sunrise and sunset both gorgeous with the fall trees. We will be back!

My 4 kids, husband and I have been coming to Shanty creek resorts for over 10 years. This is the first time we stayed somewhere other than the resort hotels. We enjoyed we were able to bring our dog on this trip, we had a kitchenette, and we did more in the area because we had to drive ourselves. This gave us a chance to explore and save more money. By staying in a place more reasonable than the hotel and we were able to cook ourselves and didn't have the added expense of a dog sitter. 4girls sharing one bathroom worked out better than I thought. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you The Ramsey family

Had a great stay at Cory's. Very private and quiet area but close to a great coffee shop, brewery, restaurant, and ice cream shop in Lake Ann. The "water closets" were unique, but they were needed so we didn't all have to fight for the main bath room and shower, which are dated but work fine. There was plenty of space for 5 of us and a dog. Cory was sure to have the box fan and screen in the 3rd bedroom for us which we definitely needed with no air-conditioning in the bedrooms. We would stay here again.

This past weekend is the third time visiting in 6 weeks and I think we will be back before it gets too cold. hosts are very responsive and informative on things to do and places to visit. multiple beaches all within short drive. we will be back soon

Stayed here with some friends for a few days. This cabin was absolutely beautiful. Carefully curated and designed, yet clean and peaceful. Used the fire pit outside every night! Probably worth noting that there is only one shower, but it wasn’t a problem for us. The team was super helpful and had everything ready to go. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils and tools you could need. We adventured out most of the time, but we definitely could’ve spent a whole day just hanging out there.

The house was in a great location, walkable to Suttons bay but out of the mix as well. We loved the private beach and views from the living room. Communication with fast and easy. Worth it to note that there is only one AC. They did have a bunch of large fans, we just hit a hot week there sleeping wise.

Laura’s place was perfect for our weekend getaway! Everything was spotless and had great instructions/labeling throughout. Plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy. The location was quiet with anything you need within a very short drive. Laura was extremely communicative and very pleasant to work with. I recommend staying with her and look forward to returning!

We loved our stay here! Ken and Rhonda were the perfect hosts, they were very flexible with check in and check out times and available to us during our stay. The stay is in a renovated garage next to their house, but we felt like we had lots of privacy and the setting with the pond and lots of land is wonderful. Everything seemed new, clean, and comfy, with lots of games that our kid loved. We loved the location, it felt remote but was also very convenient to everything we like to do in the area!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Peace Retreat. The location could not have been better, with Lake Michigan just a walk away, and the beautiful trails for easy walking behind the property. We loved the yard set up, with a campfire ready for us to enjoy, the hammocks, and little paths to enjoy the property. We loved all the extra blankets and quirky furnishings inside the home, and it was perfect for us to enjoy a mother daughter weekend.

I reached out to Kelly looking for somewhere to stay with my 4 young children during this catastrophic ice storm that hit my area. Not only was she extremely accommodating by allowing us to check in early, she was very responsive in helping us get inside and settled, and even allowed us to add on another night to our stay last minute. She was just so nice, empathetic to our situation and very helpful with everything. The house itself had everything we needed, was very clean even though we arrived early. It’s very spacious, the kids loved it! There is a nice sized yard they also got to enjoy. This place is very family friendly. Highly recommend!!
