Una propiedad hermosa, tranquila, con muchas actividades por hacer, impresionantes vistas, fui con hijos, nietos y mama y todos lo pasamos muy bien. Jessica, Jose, Anali, Edyberto y el jardinero hacen un excelente trabajo alli, son personas super atentas, educados y nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos con gusto. Si quieren ir a conocer pueblos si deben de rentar lancha. La casa estaba limpia y la matienen muy bien y nos cocinaron muy rico todo lo que les pediamos, Me gustaria regresar pronto 100% recomendada

We were 2 adults and 4 children (4, 6, 11, 13). We spent 9 days at Finca Manglar. We all loved this vacation and the length of stay was perfect. Luis was a perfect guide, always available and in upbeat spirits. We took most breakfasts and dinners. Delicious, local and healthy. We bought milk, bread, spreads, fruit/veg and snacks in a big supermarket on our way from San Jose to Palmar Norte. You can also get snacks and some food in a cute corner store about 2-3km away (we rode there on horses). I’m not going to repeat all the positives that the previous reviews said about this location. I wholeheartedly agree with them. Lia helped us get the transportation from SJ to the boat in Palmar Norte. Nice, easy scenic drive on the way there, just try to avoid Sunday afternoon travel back to San Jose because of the congested traffic.

It sounds cliched but the best word to describe Maria’s place is magical. The cabins are clean and comfortable, surrounded by lush tropical greenery. Maria was continually available to answer questions, make recommendations or just make sure you were enjoying your stay. This was a wonderful experience and we’ll definitely be back!

Esta casita es un sueño, era justo lo que necesitábamos para renovar energías, en medio de una finca con vistas preciosas y un jardín hermoso. El diseño te enamora, cada detalle te hace sentir en casa, además esta full equipada y hasta cuenta con asador de gas. No puedo dejar de mencionar a Oso el perro guía que nos acompaño mientras caminamos por la finca y a Doña Merari que fue muy amable y siempre estuvo atenta a nuestras necesidades al igual que doña Vera. Volvería con mi familia sin pensarlo.

This Airbnb is amazing in every way. Doña Rosita was incredibly kind and welcoming and helped arrange transportation for me from my hotel near the airport all the way to the Airbnb. The location itself is simply stunning. The home itself is beautifully furnished and comfortable, but what truly makes it stand apart are the gorgeous views of the beautiful gardens and the wetlands and volcano just beyond. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and is equipped with a water filter, which was wonderful as it meant I didn’t need to purchase water. For only Q5, it was easy to take the bus to Antigua as it stops right in front of the property entrance. As a bonus, the two friendly dogs made my stay an absolute delight since I was missing my own so much. My only regret is not being able to stay longer. I would be absolutely delighted to stay again!

Mein Aufenthalt bei Ricardo war super - ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen. Das alte Plantagenhaus hatte einen tollen Charme.

What a beautiful place to stay. Hosts are super friendly & welcoming! Incredible views, exactly as pictured. They have multiple things to offer on the site, like horseback riding (highly recommend), massages, boat ride & hiking on their ranches path. The drive to the Airbnb is EXACTLY as described. 4x4 recommended highly. Very bumpy, gravel roads. You drive through 2 rivers, depending which way GPS takes you. Would NOT recommend driving at night. I’d also recommend staying at this place for most of your stay as it takes 30-60 minutes to get to any “city”. La Fortuna is 2.5 hours away. Monteverde is 1.5 hours away. San Jose is 4+ hours away. Super nice place for a romantic getaway. Stay & enjoy the views, cook dinner in & enjoy their pool on the deck!

Wonderful host and amazing views! We added on the night walk and dinner at his family farm. It made for such a memorial night.

We had a fantastic stay at Leonardo’s place! He went above and beyond to make our experience comfortable. He kindly allowed us to check in early when we arrived in the city ahead of schedule. Without even asking, he brought us an infant feeding chair when he saw we had a baby, which was such a thoughtful touch. Late at night, when our laundry was finished, he even carried it back to the casa for us. His hospitality and kindness truly made a difference in our stay. Thank you so much, Leonardo! Highly recommend this place! p.s About 10 minutes away from La Fortuna but it's a beautiful drive.

Loved our stay here!! Felt secluded and had all the peace of camping. Size was small but perfect to spend nights in!! We loved watching the sunset from the hammocks. Thanks so much for a great stay 😊

I don't know that my review will be any different than all the others here but there is literally nithing negative to say about this place. The space was incresible, fulky furnished with any and everything you may need. On top of that, Rick was incredibly responsive to any question he had. We travel all of the time and to various countries and this was one of our best Airbnb experiences!

What a fabulous place! The views were stunning and sunsets were spectacular! I really enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings watching the sun come up. We took advantage of the family restaurant and had them bring breakfast right to our outdoor table one morning. It was amazing! We also brought dinner back from the family restaurant one night and watched the sunset…wow!! Highly recommend!

The view over the lake arenal is just phenomenal! The house has a huge garden with some fruits, herbs & vegetables wich we were allowed to eat. We can for sure recommend.

Un lugar muy tranquilo rodeado de hermosa naturaleza, cerca de atracciones como la Laguna de Manuel, Dota Park, centro de Santa Maria de Dota. La casa amplia y bonita acorde con la zona. Gsutavo excelente anfitrión siempre amable y brindando información oportuna y clara.

Tolles, sauberer Apartment, wunderschöne Terrasse mit tollem Blick (wenn es nicht nebelig ist)! Die Unterkunft hat einen super Gasgriller. Badezimmer sind super inkl. gutem Wasserdruck! Sehr gut ausgestattet! Ernesto und Gustavo waren super Gastgeber, als Gastgeschenk gab es einen tollen Cafe!

Oscar is a super host. The house is very private yet overlooks the owner's farm so we loved watching the beautiful horses, pigs, goats and cows as the family prepared them for a show. The AC works great in the bedrooms and as mentioned, we stayed during a warm time and spent most of our time in the pool or at the shady grill/party area as the main room can get truly warm with no AC. And of course, the sun setting on the volcano-can't be matched! Don't hesitate to book this great place!

Amazing location about 20 minutes from downtown La Fortuna. Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to easily get into town. Gorgeous property that is serine and peaceful - with lots of birds to enjoy. Every area is gated so well which was really helpful with our kids. It allowed us to feel really safe wherever they were. The pool and amenities for the kids was also wonderful.

Great space, wonderful views and the grounds were beautiful with all the flowers. Really enjoyed the hot tub and the beds were nice and cozy. Stopped there as a half way point to the Caribbean coast. Was a tad difficult finding, but it was in the dark and once we got to Aquarius and looked at the pictures we got there no problem. Host was responsive. Thank you for sharing your wonderful house.

Really great hosts and amazing property. Bart has a green thumb and I got to enjoy many of his delicous organic avocados and fruits. Barbara is very active in the community and has a lot of insider tips. Highly recommend

Our second time staying at Laura and Verny’s house and would happily stay again. It feels like home, and we love going to el arca to eat and see the botanical garden which is right up the street from the house. Beautiful views and comfortable space. Laura and Verny are great hosts who make it very easy to stay at their beautiful home that Verny built himself!
