What's one thing you look for when you are searching for say a cottage or a cabin or a homestay? Quietness, serenity with a pinch of belonging. Property at birdwood cottages provide you just that, situated away from the hustle bustle of the city and also the crowded Mall road of Dalhousie, this place submits you to just relax. Great location, beautiful interiors, great caretakers who make great home made food of your choice. touristy spots are not too far away, ample car parking place, good wifi. The best part of the stay has to be the 2-3 km flat trail circuit in the woods to rejuvenate your mornings. i think late September to early December is the best time to enjoy the flora & fauna of this place before the snow engulfs the area.

Very nice location, great food, and amazing hospitality - very cooperative, laid back and friendly. Akhil gave us some local recommendations and helped us to plan our journey. can only recommend it.

Lligar put us in a friend‘s hotel so that we could experience local wine. The place was very old fashioned with a lovely courtyard and a super tasty lamb dish with chickpeas! The location was good. In addition, Lligar spent a lot of extra time with us including spending a day giving us a tour. Lligar‘s hospitality was truly extraordinary!

Its an amazing peaceful serene place…. The cottage is so beautiful and d view is breathtaking…..walks around the cottage …. Relaxing in the cottage…. Everyting about that place is so beautiful……A MUST VISIT…. Jayati is extremely helpful and an amazing host… I’ll definitely visit again….Also Dharampal was an amazing help…. Would love to thank the host and her help for making our stay amazing….

It’s fantastic, absolutely worth money

Cedars wild is a beautiful lush green property I visited along with my wife. It is very well located , close to the highway, close to the station. (We specifically wanted to have a toy train experience so having the station in the proximity was a + for us). Apart from that, If you really want to avoid the hustle bustle of the mainstream vacay places (shimla/ solan) and looking for some peaceful spot I suggest you check this one out. The rooms are very well kept & The common areas very artistically decorated. We had the entire property to ourself for 3 days and we had a blissful time. Karan Sir, is an extremely warm host. Someone who instantly lifts up your spirit. We loved catching up with him during his morning/evening walk with his little pooch Mogambo who made our stay yet more exciting. You just can not get enough of some places and this sure is one of them. We look foreard to visit again, very soon 😊

The host is amazing! We traveled during the rainy season, and all our clothes got damp. She took them and dried them for us. She even had a meal ready when we arrived. House help is available, so you don’t need to worry, especially during winter. They have a Bukhari that they keep refilling to make the house nice and warm. The property is even better than it looks in the photos. My friends and I are already planning to stay here again when we visit Nainital. It’s also conveniently close to Mall Road!

I only stayed at Mandukya for a night and wished I stayed longer! This place is luxury in the mountains, beautiful villa with stunning views and modern amenities in the room. The loft was my favourite besides the 5 beautiful dogs in the property. Staff were very friendly, super responsive and made my stay worthwhile. A plus is that they run a full fledged kitchen, with digital ordering facility! Loved the overall experience.

I had an amazing stay at Hermitage Cottage. The location is perfect—peaceful, and I had complete privacy. Inside, the cottage is well-maintained, clean, and cozy with a well stocked kitchen. The internet connection was stable, allowing me to stay connected when needed. The cottage was also equipped with gas and a reliable supply of hot water, which made my stay even more comfortable. I would recommend this place to people who really wants to stay in the mountains by themselves with their family. The best thing about it is that Ammar was an exceptional host—responsive, friendly, and always available to assist. He ensured everything was in perfect order. Hermitage Cottage is a hidden gem in Murree. Now it’s my go to place whenever I visit murree.

Плюсы: - Отличное расположение в живописном и уединенном месте. - Вокруг тишина, после города это чутка пугало, только через пару часов уже никуда не хотелось уезжать. - Большая территория, очень приятно было лежать на газоне под тенью каштанов. - Яблоневый сад на территории, предполагаю, что весной очень красиво цветут. - Чистый воздух и вид на горы с второго этажа. - Большой дом, мы были в своем, но на компанию найдется много места. - Дружелюбные хозяева, всегда рады помочь ответить на вопросы или помочь доехать с/к границе или в Ала Арчу. - Рядом находится Ала Арчи, можно уезжать утром гулять по тропам или подниматься на вершины(к сожалению не посещали) Особенности (Не стал относить к минусам, т к это очень субъективное): - Нет доставки еды, но это не проблема, можно доехать до кафе, которые находятся не так далеко (минут 10-15 на машине) - С такси проблем не было, когда нужно было поехать за продуктами - машина находилась быстро

A great place to stay for long term holiday in Almaty. Mr Park was a very helpful host, helps us with a lot of things including finding cheaper snowboard rental place. He also helps when we faced troubles and hiccups in our vacations. A very responsive and helpful host.

House was in immaculate condition. Brand new furniture and housekeeping was really responsive. Crockery was limited. Local channels on tv were not available. Rooms & bathroom were neat and tidy.
