A hidden gem! What a place to stay for a relaxing weekend away! Chloe allowed us to check in early which was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed the spa which was easy to use, the fire pit, and chilling on the balcony with beautiful views! The kitchen had everything you could want to cook and enjoy snacks. We especially loved the yummy bread left for us on arrival! The recommendations for local coffee were great and walking on the local beaches was nice and close. Thanks for a lovely stay!

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights in March 2025 - absolutely loved it! So peaceful, great location, spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Lovely quality bed, bedding and towels, big smart TV, modern kitchen and bathroom and the whole place is alot more spacious than the photos! Beautiful, thoughtful and very generous welcome gifts - fresh bread, fruit, choccys, milk … and a really well stocked pantry, kitchen and bathroom. Lisa was an excellent host and was always very responsive to any questions I had. The views from the living room, master bedroom and kitchen are absolutely stunning, and we loved having sunset drinks outside on the back deck, listening to the birds and having some of them visit us too! It’s an easy 5 minute drive to Terrigal or North Avoca beaches, you could walk but it’s very steep uphill on the way back. We highly recommend walking up to The Cowrie restaurant for dinner - it’s a short 5 minute walk and easy at night time too. Amazing restaurant- a must!

We had such a lovely time staying at Karen’s place. It was our first trip away with our 2 month old baby and she slept so well, holiday life must suit her. If you have kids the beach that’s walking distance is probably not the best as the waves were quite rough and the sand was quite “sooty”. But luckily you’re driving distance from lots of other kid friendly beach spots. We also loved the cafe down the road, the owner is lovely and food and drinks were all great.

This place was very lovely and had nice little touches such as popcorn, pancakes and coffee for us. It was very clean and well air conditioned too. Lovely views and everything was perfect for relaxing inside which was good cause we didn't have the best weather. James is also a very lovely host. Great at communicating even down to severe weather warning alerts through our app. I would definitely stay here again Thanks to James and family for hosting our family for a mini getaway.

Wendy is very hospitable in sharing her space. There is every white good product for use, in great condition and making our coffees excellent. We had a lovely time in the spa drinking Champane and sharing our time. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom, divine. The state of cleanliness and comfort is excellent.

We love the cottage Pearl Beach for our family weekend away. Perfect for 4 couples. Plenty of outdoor space and undercover area if wet. We love the easy walk to the beach, bush, tennis court and don’t leave Pearl Beach. Thanks for the extra luxuries like lovely towels, lotions, candles and bubbly.

As advertised. Lovely and clean and a short walk to the West Gosford shops…and dog walks!

A lovely place for our (small) extended family weekend away. The kids loved visiting the chickens, the hammocks and sampling the produce that Fiona left for us. Baby gate was great with a toddler and the door between the bedrooms and living area was very good for us to enjoy our stay after the kids were in bed without disturbing them. We would stay again!

My partner and I have just had three wonderful days at Sally’s and Andrew’s place , it was wonderful to wake up each morning witn the sparkling lake on our doorstep, Sally’s place was very warm and comfortable, a great place to unwind and relax, and the added bonus was it was so close to Sydney

It was very rainy during our stay in Ettalong but Geoff and Nola's place made us really cozy and warm despite the weather. It was very spacious and there are two toilets which is very convenient. They are also very nice hosts and there are so much things to do around the area.

Lovely little bush retreat which was quiet and relaxing, Elizabeth and Dom are generous gracious hosts

Joanne's place was lovely, well appointed and felt relaxing during our stay. Check in was straight forward and convenient upon arrival. Communication with Joanne was great. I would highly recommend.

Above expectations. I would 100% recommend staying and Karen&Seans’s. Everything was very clean. And they put out very nice snacks and breakfast treats 😊

Maree’s place was just what us as a couple needed. Newly refurbished but felt homely and was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook and enjoy the experience. The outdoor area was large and had glimpses of the water. A small walk took you to the lake. Maree supplied snacks, breakfast and fruit and other staples that we were not expecting and were very grateful for. The bed was really comfortable and ceiling fans kept us cool as well. Mikes place was perfect for a short stay. Very clean with everything we needed. Lovely peaceful location, coffee van in walking distance and Maitland Bay beach.

Very friendly hosts, had everything we needed and loved the continental breakfast.

I really enjoy Evan's property. He is a responsible and easy t communicate. I should thank Evan since he add arcon in the room in addition to common sitting place.

Had an amazing stay! The pool and spa were so relaxing, and the breakfast was delicious. The hosts were welcoming and made everything perfect. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway

Evan’s dorm is very clean, peaceful and clam. Also he provides us the free bread, coffee and cereal in the morning. There is near the beautiful lake and there are Pelicans.
