Loved the location first and foremost! Super cute cottage, very tastefully decorated; I really enjoyed waking up in this little piece of paradise every morning. This cottage is centrally located so it was easy to see the whole island from such a great location without very long drives either direction for day trips. The cottage is offset from the main road and tucked away with beautiful landscape. Kitchen was nice to cook meals which I did so often. Comfortable bed, hot shower, and AC was wonderful after a day at the beach. I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler staying here. The cottage has a few other small cottages on the property it but not enough to create noise or make the place feel less quaint or private. I could sit outside on the deck and have coffee and be completely alone however I was mostly out exploring the island and this was a perfect place to come home to every day. I loved being so close to Palmetto as I could run and walk daily just up the road and get off Queen's highway easily for awesome excursion to the beach and up Banks road. John is a wonderful person and host. This place is perfect if you are looking for a clean, cozy, private, quiet getaway centrally located on the island.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tir Na N’og. The property was immaculate and on one of the best beaches we’ve ever seen. The kitchen, although small in size, was extremely well equipped for our group of 11 as we made most of our meals there. We also appreciated the amount of toys for our toddler as well as the pack n play, high chair, and a few beach toys. The snorkeling gear was also a great plus! The WiFi was pretty spotty (able to stream video periodically, but not entirely reliable). Daniel (the property manager), and Christine (the housekeeper) we’re attentive to our needs and a great plus to this property. Tir Na N’og is truly a hidden gem in Eleuthera and our family had an amazing time!

We had a wonderful stay with a lovely host. We traveled with an infant (9 months) and toddler (almost 3) and four adults. We found the house and location to be surprisingly kid friendly. Being able to step out onto the pool deck with an incredible view, or out to the beach 30 yards away, was so convenient. It was also very nice to be able to run back to the house for snacks, bottles, naps, etc., without having to pack up our car and drive back to the house. Hands down, the location is the most stunning place at which we’ve ever stayed. The beach is unparalleled and the house is within 5 minutes of great restaurants in Governor’s Harbour (Buccaneer’s is our favorite, and also very kid friendly). The house itself is charming and rustic, a true beach house. We loved the easy going vibe. We found the kitchen to be well-stocked, which we appreciated since we cooked in several nights. Overall, a wonderful trip and a place we would stay again. Many thanks to Michelle.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Poponi. The cottage was comfortable and we especially enjoyed the patio and kitchen. The surrounding landscaping is beautiful and it's a short walk to a very nice and private stretch of beach. The owners were pleasant and very responsive when we had a question.

This was our first trip to Eluethera and I feel we chose the perfect place to stay. We loved the beautiful, peaceful beach, sunrise walks were spectacular and loved the swimming. The villa with the view and large front porch sitting right there on the beach. The villa was very comfortable and welcoming with all the amenities. Super comfortable beds, a well fitted out kitchen and all the beach gear. Restaurants, grocery stores and liquor stores were all within a couple of miles. It really worked out perfect for the two of us and we hope to return again.

Really enjoyed this cottage. Location is perfect right on the water. Got to enjoy beautiful sunrise every morning. Michele, the house manager was amazing. Extremely helpful and responsive. Will definitely book again!

We had a wonderful time at the property – so secluded and close to the most beautiful beach – the dock was wonderful to just sit out and watch the sun set and the turtles swim by. The home was clean, and the pool was nice – this was just what the doctor ordered. Violet and Charles are very nice and always accommodating – great team.

Absolutely stunning location……the home sits on acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and a clean seemingly private beach. We saw only a handful of friendly neighbors (residents) each day. It was windy so the surf was rough but we found times when it was calm enough to snorkel on the reefs right off the beach. We did bring wetsuits just in case and that helped but we also swam in bathing suits, especially the kids. If it was windy at our beach, we could take a 5 min drive to Ten Bay Beach (and other spots) on the opposite side of the island where it was protected from the winds and the water was clear and flat calm. The house was extremely clean; furniture felt new; kitchen well equipped. The BBQ was a bit rough and no gas so we didn’t use. The downstairs bedroom/bath were furnished beautifully and worked out well but it had a slight smell of paint; didn’t bother the kids. Double Bay and this beautiful home made for a dream vacation and we highly recommend Wish House!

pictures don't do it justice. Sand was white and powdery, felt like flour. Beautiful beach. Nobody on it, ever. 4 miles of nothing which I loved. Snorkeling was average in the bay. House had snorkels and masks, paddle board and kayak, which we never took out. Locals will drop off whatever you need and do any tours you want. House is 1:45mins from the north where you have to ferry to an island to swim with the pigs, so we skipped that. I'm certain there is good snorkeling elsewhere on the island. We went south to Jacks Bay and got a tour of the Nicholas championship golf course and tiger woods course. Windemeyer was good, gated community. Food there is very average but the pickleball courts were great and everyone everywhere is so friendly. House had 5 bedrooms, 5 bath. The 5th bedroom was really small, fit 1 comfortably, but we didn't need it. A few restaurants are closed. Clothes washer didn't work (didn't spin the clothes). Overall, Awesome. Get fresh fish delivered
