Central Huron : locations de vacances avec kayak

This is a very special cottage in a beautiful location. We very much enjoyed the private beach and sauna. The kayak, waterboard and canoe were a great hit with the kids. Having the lawn and the shallow steps to the beach was particularly great for keeping an eye on the kids and easy access to the water for grandma. We didn't need them as we were outside most of the time, but there are games and Lego available for kids which I thought was a lovely touch. We would definitely like to come back! Fyi: One thing we missed with this listing is that there are no bedside lamps in any of the rooms which made reading very tricky as the overhead light is very dim.

Trudy was a great hostel and responsive whenever i messaged her. The place was beautiful..nice and clean snd great location. My family and i had a great time!

We rode our motorcycles from Ottawa to David's Brights Grove cottage and when we arrived, he had a nice cold one in the fridge for our arrival and fresh farm eggs (we didn't cook unfortunately). The cottage is sooo close to a beautiful blue water beach yet is far enough away, tucked in to the cutest and quietest little neighborhood you've ever seen. The cottage has a lovely, very private patio, all surrounded by plants and flowers and the trees keep it all wonderfully shaded. Also a nice outdoor fireplace and one indoors too. David stopped by on Sunday morning and told us to take our time checking out, chatted about the area with my partner (who grew up in that area 50/60 years ago), and took some pics of our motorcycles. What a fantastic person, we didn't meet Juli but hopefully in the future. Thank you David and Juli. We'll be spreading the word through the biker community to definitely check you out. Cheers. Roma is a great host, and is quick on responding and suggesting things to explore near by. Great amenities/games (indoor) for kids to keep them engaged.

Amazing house on the beach with the best host you could ask for ! Rami was really responsive and helped us in anyway he could when we needed it ! The house is as described on the pictures. There are few flights of stairs to access the house but then its great as you are almost on the beach. Beatiful views, lots of space inside the cottage and everything you need if you are travelling with kids ! We would love to come back !

Gorgeous location, very helpful host and fantastic house for a big group!

Marsha's place was great, spacious and relaxing. The cottage was very well equipped with amenities and kitchen had more than everything we needed in terms of condiments, spices etc. very close to the beach, although we didn't get down there due to the weather. Nearby towns worth exploring - Bayfield, and the Cowbell is a great local brewery with good food for lunch. Marsha is a great host, access to the property is easy and simple, and check-in and check-out times were flexible. We will definitely be back!

I recently had the pleasure of spending three unforgettable days at a charming lakehouse, and it exceeded all my expectations. Nestled amid stunning natural scenery, the house offered breathtaking views of the lake, especially during sunrise and sunset. The interior was beautifully decorated, combining rustic charm with modern amenities. The spacious living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the fully equipped kitchen made cooking meals a joy. I loved the cozy fire pit, which created a warm atmosphere for our evening gatherings. The outdoor space was equally impressive, with a lovely deck perfect for sipping coffee in the morning and enjoying meals al fresco. The private dock provided easy access for swimming and kayaking, making it a great spot for both relaxation and adventure. Overall, this lakehouse was the perfect getaway for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. I can’t wait to return for another serene escape!

We had the perfect getaway at the pebble, the cottage was very homey and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place to unwind while listening to the sounds of the waves at any time of day! You can tell Catherine has put thought into every detail of the stay, from the ample seating, to the kayaks, and even a bottle of wine and chocolates upon arrival, Catherine has thought of everything and anything you might need. We really enjoyed the added touch of having a bin for vegetarian food scraps to feed the goats! Also the sunsets over Lake Huron both from the cottage and on the beach a few steps away were beautiful!

the house was wonderful to stay at and Janice was super responsive and had any issue fixed extremely fast. Felt like a home away from home! definitely will book again.

Wow!! This is a beautiful place…exactly as you see in the pictures. The outdoor shower was a nice feature. The outdoor space is comfortable and spacious. The fire pit was set up for us, all we had to do was light it. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. There are a number of steps to the beach but worth the walk as nothing beats a Lake Huron sunset. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board on the calm water. The beach area is very private , only a few others around. We loved this place and will be returning next year!!

The place is even more beautiful than the photos! Alexis’s place was spotless, had everything you would need, the beds were extremely comfortable, lots of space, peaceful, and the beach and view was gorgeous. The beach is sandy- not rocky and very slowly gets deeper but the water is pretty shallow (waist height) so great for kids or people looking to just cool off. We even found lots of sea glass for art! The stairs were easy to go up and down, but the golf cart was a great option if you didn’t want to or were unable to use the stairs. Just a short drive from grand bend, but Alexis gave many local activities and recommendations. I highly recommend bringing bug repellents. Alexis was very quick to respond, organized, and the best host I’ve communicated with on Airbnb. We would all love to come back!

What a beautiful place to stay. It was cozy and the view of the lake was absolutely stunning!! Angela responded promptly to every question that we had. We will definitely stay there again!!
