The stay was perfect! Everything matched the description as listed and Meghan was very friendly towards us and very responsive. Would recommend others to this Airbnb who are visiting the area.

The Rabbit Hole is incredible—10/10, highly recommend! The hosts have truly thought of everything, ensuring the space has everything you could possibly need. We’ll absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in St. Louis!

We’ve stayed here before and will be back. It’s the perfect escape for a few days into the quiet. Bill is an excellent host who is attentive, communicative, and gives you your space.

It is perfect for a family weekend. We were with our two kids and they enjoy so much fishing and kayaking.

Lovely place to stay in St. Louis-- a clean and comfortable home base. We enjoyed The Hill neighborhood and walked to several host-recommended restaurants, including a coffee shop and a DELICIOUS bakery. Safe area nearish downtown, off-street parking was a plus! The garage saved our car from the hail while we were in the basement during the tornado warning! If you have guests needing to sleep on the pull-out couch, note that they have to walk through the bedroom that doesn't have a door to get to the bathroom.

This place was the perfect weekend stay! It was clean, organized, and offered lots of amenities. The included frozen pizza and drinks was a huge plus! Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Charming “Little House”. Hosts were very attentive - when there was an issue with the heating unit, Igor was there within 20 minutes. Close to Tower Grove Park and the Missouri Botanical Garden.

So glad we found this place. If you’re thinking about booking, just do it. A great place to relax, unwind, sit by a fire or in a hot tub and just enjoy your time alone. Close to Hermann where you can taste some great wine and grab an amazing meal. But if you just want to stay put and read a books or go on a walk, you can do that too. We had fun watching the birds out the front window and spotting the turtles in the pond. Loved our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, everything was very clean and directions were clear. Location is close to downtown but gives and out of town view/feel from the back deck . The neighborhood felt safe while is nice bc it’s hard to tell when looking for a place to stay. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

This was by far one of my all time favorite air bnb’s. The space is absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. The hot tub outside was everything I had hoped for. I was there in an “off season” time for Grafton and it was still so much more than I had hoped for. I truly cannot wait to return in the spring or fall.

My fiancé and I had a great stay at The Northstar Retreat! It was very private and peaceful. Very clean and comfortable. Best night of sleep I had all week was in that bed! There were many delicious restaurants and clean beaches minutes from their location. Rocco and Anastasia were friendly and easy to get ahold of if we needed anything. Their spa and staff were also very friendly! We each had a 30 minute massage and used their sauna and it was worth every penny. My fiancé had a coffee made by Rocco almost every morning we were there and said it was delicious. We will definitely be back!

He always left the door of communication open. It was such a cool place and perfect for what we needed.

I would absolutely recommend this location to others, it was the perfect mix of cozy and comfy while at the same time allowing you to feel immersed in the nature around you. Plus there were so many amenities that I was grateful for and didn’t expect, like: - Polaroid camera with film - binoculars and a book about the local birds - a record player with plenty of records to choose from, and -a map of nearby trails Me and my partner didn’t have a single complaint. That being said, you could often hear trains in the distance. It wasn’t something that bothered us but I can imagine it being a problem if you have small children with you. Thank you to everyone that helped make our stay effortless and enjoyable!

The only minimal complaint I would have is the fact that the parking was awful. The driveway was a bit cluttered and it’s almost impossible to back out without potentially hitting something, it’s down a super narrow ally which makes it even harder, otherwise I don’t have any other complaints! This was probably one of the best/ cutest places I’ve stayed at! Very satisfying & I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again! They have a pond w koi fish w a waterfall you can sit by & enjoy. The shower was big and very nice. Lots of bathroom amenities as well!

The Virginia Lake Cabin is on a beautiful lake. The property is very peaceful. Love that this peace of history has been preserved for us to enjoy. The cabin is bigger than it appears in the photos. The soaker tub is amazing. The bed is very comfortable. The trail around the property is tranquil. The generous sample of honey is delicious! Would love to come back & enjoy some of the warmer outdoor activities that this cabin offers. It is close to Springfield if you want to explore some of the things they have to offer. Lots of history on Lincoln, the Dana Thomas House, shopping, etc…

I was in Rock Island for a quick trip and Catherine's place was a cozy spot to end my adventure. The view of the Rock River is wonderful and the deck looked charming--just wish it had been a bit warmer to enjoy it. I loved the vintage decor throughout--all the mushrooms were so cute--and slept well. Definitely a good spot if you're in the quad cities and want something that feels remote while still being close to everything.
