Maria is an excellent host! We had a couple issues but she addressed the one immediately (unfunctioning lock) and I'm sure she'll fix the other pronto too- the listing implies more beds than exist. There's one in the bedroom, one in the loft and a foldout futon. All are comfortable. The space is very clean. The views are very nice. The cabin is very nicely outfitted with appropriate but unique furniture. The kitchen is well outfitted too. The space was very private and the deck a nice place to gather. Highly recommend both the host and any of her properties!

Wonderful place to stay. Felt at home immediately. Maria’s place will be my first choice when I return.

My big bustling family, complete with three kids under 5 and four dogs, just loved our stay here! The views of the wetlands, mountains, sunsets and rises, and starry nights were a dream. We saw moose and cranes and coyotes. And there was so much fun to be had on the swings, wandering around, and in the gathering spaces in the home. The dogs loved the room to run and luckily behaved well enough without any fenced off area:) The home was spacious, clean, and comfortable with all we needed for a cozy weekend away!

The view was breathtaking! Beautiful and very comfortable home with all the amenities. Check in was delayed by an hour but they were willing to compensate for the hour delay at checkout. The garage was not accessible from the outside as the combination for the door opener did not work. All in all a good experience and would definitely consider going again in the future.

We were having a problem with another location and needed to move immediately. I booked Maria’s spot and within the hour were settled in. She was very responsive and helpful and it was so nice to have no more issues and be cozy for the rest of the stay. Thanks so much!

Our family of four had a wonderful week at Jacob’s place and we’d all like to visit again! There are just so many ways to relax and unwind - from the gorgeous soaker tub, to cozy window seats, to the hammock and wood-fired hot tub outside. The kids loved playing in the loft, finding neat rocks on the beach, and having s’mores at the campfire. All in all, a perfect spring break trip for us.

Last year, we stayed at a different Shy’s property, which we liked more, though it was also more expensive. This place is still gorgeous and has everything you need. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which was a great bonus. The house was clean, and the hot tub was spotless. It’s only a 10-minute walk to the ski lift or a 2-minute drive. We had a fantastic time!

Meegan was very responsive. The place was very nice and well equipped. If a person had mobility issues, they might have trouble with the stairs leading to the front door. Meegan’s place was perfect for our stay as it was very conveniently located next to walking trails and downtown.
