Central Manitoulin : locations de vacances avec kayak

A lovely place to stay in Manitoulin. A spacious cottage with lots of room in the kitchen for cooking, a comfortable living room and a nice large TV. The patio was so inviting with comfy furniture and a beautiful view of the lake. We especially loved swimming in the lake! A sandy bottom and shallow, like a lot of the beaches on Lake Huron. There are amazing hikes close by with lots of options for places to eat and buy food. We would stay here again in our next visit to Manitoulin for sure.

We were in town for my Uncles funeral and had a very busy schedule, Christopher was an excellent host and very helpful. The house was exactly what we needed and an excellent value. I couldn't imagine a better place to stay in our situation and we will be defiantly be trying to book here every time we are in town.

I felt at home from the time we entered the property. The cottage was very spacious and had a lot of natural light coming in. The sunroom/ living room was my favorite. You felt even when you were inside, you were still connected to the outside with all the windows. Outside it had a large deck, with a covered portion, and step down you could sunbath. The lake side was amazing, having crystal clear water and paddle boards, kayaks and a canoe. If that wasn’t enough, there was an amazing sauna that also had windows that allowed you to see the kids swimming in the lake. Bridal veil falls and the cup and saucer trails are really close by, which makes this property amazing. I will definitely book this property again.

Beautiful home! Beautiful views even with all the snow! Lots of space also. Hilary was a great host and very accommodating! Would book here again anytime of year, but would love to experience it in the summer! :)

I had an incredible experience staying at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating, making check-in and communication seamless. The location was perfect—close to great restaurants, and attractions.. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like fresh linens, a well-stocked kitchen, and local recommendations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay!

Hôte très flexible et compréhensif. Nous y étions pour le travail donc, n'avons pas pu profitez des alentours mais, c'est une belle maison bien situé sur le bord de l'eau. Environnement intérieur et extérieur super et très confortable. Bien équipé intérieur comme extérieur. Je recommande pour tous voyageurs que ce soit pour des vacances ou pour le travail.

Everything was perfect, clean. We enjoyed our stay, the location was beautiful, the views were amazing. Leana was a great host, very helpful and responsive when needed. Would recommend. Would love to come back in the future.

My wife and I chose this place to celebrate her birthday in September. Right away, we were blown away by how beautiful the property and view were. After entering inside, we quickly understood why Melissa is a "super host"! We really appreciated the attention to detail and felt like they did not cheap out on anything - like many hosts have done in our experience. The guest's experience is clearly extremely important to her. We also absolutely loved the sauna!! It's like we were at a Scandinavian spa - cold plunge in the cool lake followed by nice long sauna sessions. So so refreshing. All we talked about on the drive home was how great of a trip it was and how much we would like to stay there again next year. Amazing host, unbelievable property and accommodations and an exceptional experience that made my wife's birthday extra special. Highly recommend. Thank you, Melissa!

Beautiful location and exactly as described. The swim spa was a real treat after curling. Cozy and absolutely lovely. We will be looking to book again.

Eva’s place was amazing. We had an amazing and relaxing girls weekend. The place was clean and had lots of things to do from paddle boarding or kayaking to staying in playing a game or doing a puzzle. It was the perfect place to relax and reconnect with friends. The views and sunsets were breathtaking, and there are many seating options to take it all in.

The place was lovely and very homey. It looked just like the pictures. The hosts were very proactive with recommendations on what to pack and things to do in the area. They responded quickly and were very friendly. The wood fire was a huge help for keeping warm in the evenings. The hosts provided more than enough wood for us to use. I look forward to coming back in the summer when my family and I can enjoy the water activities

We stayed in this place for 5 days, during the fall weather. Elizabeth is very well organized. Cabin is very comfy, home has good heating and good insulation. BEAUTIFUL SCENERY!!! Just like the pictures , able to use fire pit, kiyaks , BBQ and deck. Reason why it’s difficult to reserve. 🍁❤️ If I could speak to my past self. I would recommend bringing water socks for boating. (if you don’t have any , otherwise you’d be getting your shoes SOAKED ) Thank you for a beautiful stay !!

We just got home from a wonderful week stay at Courtney’s place on MacGregor Bay. We can’t say enough great things about this place. Having a whole island to ourselves with a trail to hike, paddle boards to use, and all the amenities of home was exactly what we needed! The off grid living with a warm outdoor shower was a highlight…and the constant breeze off the bay will be missed! Our family of four all slept very comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we were pleasantly surprised to find a blender and a salad spinner! 😉 We feel very lucky to have found this gem and hope to return again soon. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

We had an amazing stay! Thanks to the host's great suggestions, we hiked at the Grotto and Halfway Log Dump, which were both incredible. We also booked a trip to Flower Pot Island, which was breathtaking. The cabin is only 10 minutes from Tobermory, making everything super convenient. The kayaks and canoe provided a perfect way to enjoy the lake, and the peaceful atmosphere was exactly what we needed. Highly recommend this cozy, scenic getaway for anyone visiting the area!

Truly a magical place. Tucked way, surrounded by nature. The scent of the pines, the sound of the waves crashing from Lake Huron. A wide open star filled sky. Exploration abounds. Incredible design both inside & out. Cozy beds, soft linens that you melt into. A kitchen well stocked to cook wonderful meals to share. You can get fresh groceries only a few miles up the road. Many day excursions and experiences to be had. Great hiking; swimming, snorkeling, diving, biking, bouldering etc.. And get back in time for incredible sunsets. We had never been to this area of Ontario before and always wanted to. Finding this location on the Bay met our requirements for cozy, rugged beautiful surroundings and some fishing. This location is a must visit if you are wanting a peaceful time away. Word of caution, if you are trying to get here on your own an electronic navigation device with charts is a must. I used my phone and the navionics app and we also had a good device on the boat so it was a breeze for us getting in and finding the island even with some misty rain on the way in. Sitting on the west side of the island looking down into west bay at the sunset with a drink was a highlight. Also catching a 20 pound pike was another highlight. Really appreciate this place meeting expectations. Plan on returning next fall for a similar adventure.

We had a rest with children in this wonderful place. Here so much care and comfort has been invested by the hosts. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail so that your rest will be great. Clean very comfortable. Incredible view from the window, great pleasure to watch the sunrise with such a view, drink coffee and enjoy the time spent in this wonderful place!
