What an incredible spot! We instantly felt at home when we arrived and were very sad to have to leave. The house and surrounding gardens were outstanding and very well cared for. Jo went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as good as it could be - and it was all that and more! We will be back! :)

Firstly let us say everything about this property is simply stunning, the space, the views, the location and did I mention the views.. As hosts, Kelly and Chris were so responsive and helpful. We would hope to return at some time, unfortunately while we were there our stay was impacted with noise from an adjacent property hosting a wedding. We reported this to Chris and Kelly who intend to take the matter further. This does not impact our desire to return nor does it affect the five star review this property deserves.

This home is absolutely perfect for families or a large group. We could not have asked for a better place to spend a week together with extended family and friends. The place is huge and spacious both inside and out, with toys for the kids and nice rest areas for the adults to relax and socialise. The location is stunning, private and so easily accessible to the lake and the trail that takes you to town. We would 100 percent stay here again if we could! Julian is a fantastic host and always did his best to help if we needed it, which wasn’t often as the place is fully kitted out.

We loved our stay! Short 10 min drive to the city, 7 minutes to the Frankton grocery store. The kitchen has everything you need for home cooking, and good quality supplies at that. Their carbon steel pan is the best pan I’ve ever used in my life…. I am buying one as soon as we get home. The view of the lake is stunning, and the host was very communicative. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Absolutely loved the fantail , peaceful , private , awesome view and with acess to the Frankton track so handy opening new opportunities. Perfect retreat , thankyou David

Lovely home, filled with art and light. Wild and remote coast. Had a great time and our body was understanding when we briefly lost the key!

Excellent stay, plus a nice little breakfast setup with tea, coffee, yogurt, cereals, bread & spreads. Short walk to the lake and lake path for walking or biking.

Es hat uns gut gefallen, Haus ist sehr geräumig mit 2 Badezimmern. Einrichtung etwas dunkel. Shampoo u Duschgel waren nicht vorhanden.

One of my family’s favorite stays and extremely comfortable. Bjorn greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour, including how to use the heated floors in the bathrooms! He is friendly and my family enjoyed chatting with him. The location is stunning, across the street from the bay and a walking/biking path. Everything in the unit is expertly furnished. The couches are very comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom was spacious and had enough counter space for everyone’s toiletries. This was also the only place we stayed that had a dryer. There is another Airbnb upstairs who we saw park shortly after us but we didn’t hear anything. Another unit is next door on the first floor (well separated by a divider on the patio) but we didn’t see or hear anything during our stay. Overall great place and we were sad to leave after 1 night. The peninsula drive there is beautiful too.

Unbelievable place. Extremely communicative. Met all needs and more. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else when I’m in Queenstown.

This little cottage at Lake Hawea is delightful. The views are to die for at all times of the day. The walk in front of the cottage is great, we even had people practicing their kite flying over the Lake right in front of us and many gorgeous dogs walking by. Sitting out on the deck with a glass of NZ wine was so relaxing you didn’t want to leave. The cottage amenities were great, we had everything we could need. Holly left a file of extremely useful information on all sorts of nearby cafes, restaurants, attractions and cottage bits, we used it a lot. It was impossible not to enjoy our visit, thanks Holly.

Family has a great stay , beautiful views, a few minutes from town, the pool table replaced the TV and was lots of fun.plenty of room and spots to rest up away from the fray. Loved it!

Highly recommend! Beautiful studio! The view was stunning! The deck was amazing! So quiet and peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a couple of meals which was a great break from eating out. Close to shopping and restaurants and the views are surrounding you everywhere you go! The host was very friendly and everything was super clean. The bed was kinda soft and a little uncomfortable but we would stay there again!

Die Wohnung von Wayne ist super. Es war alles sehr sauber. Eine gute Ausstattung. Toller Ausblick. Alles perfekt. Auch der Schwimmbadbereich war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Lage ist perfekt, alles ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Sehr gute Kommunikation. Wir hatten zu Beginn ein Problem mit einem Abfluss. Sofort wurde uns jemand geschickt. Wir hatten grad ausgepackt, da war das Problem bereits behoben. Wir haben nachgezählt. Es ist unsere 31. airbnb-Unterkunft in Neuseeland in den letzten drei Jahren und gehört definitiv zu den Top 3. Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt.
