We had a great time at Heather's place. The cottage was decorated beautifully. We love the hot tub and the backyard lighting around it. Everything was set up with a timer and it's pretty good for us to not have to worry about it. It's so good to have two firepits and the supplies to start the fire. The local convenient store is a short drive and has everything we need when we ran out of supplies. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea and all the snacks are nice treats. It is very cozy and the surrounding is gorgeous. The heater in the house can be quite annoying at night for someone staying on the daybed. We were warned about the noise in the instructions but couldn't do much about it or change the sleeping arrangement. The beds in all rooms are all very comfortable and if the heater issue can be somehow addressed, that would be much better. (the heater just turns on and off way too frequently) Overall, we had a great time! Heather and Michael are very friendly and responsive hosts. Thank you!

Great winter getaway. The cottage was cute, cozy and clean! The description of the cottage doesn’t do it justice as there are four nice bedrooms (the fourth one is just tough to see in the pictures) and although the water isn’t potable, there were jugs already there for us upon arrival. Only thing missing was a coffee maker, but otherwise wonderful stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! It was the perfect family getaway. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, making it feel like a true home away from home. Our host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, always quick to respond and ensure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The location offered so much to do — from outdoor activities and so many games there was never a dull moment. Whether we were enjoying the ice rink or hot tub or simply enjoying the cozy space, there was always something to keep everyone entertained. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, fun-filled family retreat!

Wanda’s cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing winter getaway! Her place exceeded the photos, as soon as we walked in Wanda already had the wood stove fireplace going so that the place was warm and cozy when we arrived. She was extremely pleasant and responsive when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Would definetley recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Melissa and Greg’s cabin was absolutely perfect!! Everything about the space inspired relaxation and calm peacefulness. So much more than I expected and would recommend to everyone. Wonderful hosts who were very responsive and thoughtful. Absolutely perfect. 5 stars! 🥰

Dan’s place is by far one of our favourites! My family stayed here for 5 days to celebrate my birthday. It was exactly what we needed. Plenty of relaxation and surrounded with nature. The wood fire hot tub is the best. Plenty of space for our dog to run around outside as well. We love to cook so kitchen is perfect for us. It’s well equipped and my husband learned to make a latte. It was amazing! I would highly recommend it and we can’t wait to go back ♥️

This was a perfect Girl's Weekend retreat. The weather turned out terrible but we had plenty of activities to keep us busy without leaving the cottage. The hot tub was well enjoyed by us all. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy for preparing meals and the coffee bar was a delight. We had a great afternoon working on the escape room activity. This was challenging but a lot of fun. The comfort and coziness of the cottage made for a memorable weekend.

Great stay. Clean Cabin. Great Host. Would recommend and would love to see it in the summer months :)

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

Our stay was absolutely magical! The cabin is so cosy and comfy. It feels rustic and peaceful like we wanted but also so well equipped - these guys thought of everything! The view onto the lake is stunning, and we loved the windows from the living room and sleeping area that let you look out onto it. We were very blessed to see some otters playing out on the ice on our final morning, so definitely keep your eyes peeled for furry friends! We hiked some of the private trail before turning back due to rain, and found it to be very easy to navigate and took a beautiful route through the trees. If you're coming in winter, definitely heed what the hosts say about the hills up and down to the cabin, they are steep. But they kept the road up to the parking area well clear, and provided sleds and snow shoes to bring our stuff down, so there was no issue with access even with all the snow. Can't say enough good things about this place, we will definitely be back!

Our stay was amazing! We went in the beginning of October and there was hardly anyone there. The environment was absolutely stunning, the fall rhapsody was in full effect. There also was a tone of stuff to do, like a dog park, hiking, canoeing, badminton, etc. the cabin itself was small but very cozy. Just remember to bring warm clothes and bedding if you go in the fall because there is just a small heater. We were very comfortable though. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

Had the pleasure of staying at Khristel’s cozy chalet this past weekend! What a stunning property. Secluded, quiet and pristine. The chalet itself has everything you can think of to have a wonderful stay. The kitchen is fully stocked and a chefs dream space to work out of. The bathrooms and bedrooms were all so nicely decorated and a lean as a whistle. You can tell that a lot of love has gone into curating the special warm and inviting ambiance of this place. We cooked great meals, watched a ton of movies, had a couple bonfires and went snowshoeing! We didn’t get to fully utilize the game room but we got so excited to see billiards, ping pong, darts, fooseball and large jenga! Overall an amazing peaceful and fun getaway!! Would highly recommend!!!

Sally and the Swan Cove Cottage were incredible! Sally was very responsive and accommodating. The cottage itself was ideal. Due to the loss of my dad in December, I booked on fairly short notice and headed north! The cottage was close to friends so that I could visit with them, or enjoy the peace of the cottage. It being the beginning of January, the porch may not have gotten the use it could’ve, but I loved the option. I arrived very early am, and the cottage was warm and ready. Thank you Sally for an incredible stay!

Jeff and Jenn's cottage was a beautiful place to stay and had wonderful scenery on the lake. I had zero issues with my visit and the place was clean and very well kept. I would love to spend more time there in the future. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

Christine’s place was absolutely beautiful and literally perfect for a cottage long weekend. the pictures don’t even do it justice. the dock out looked such a beautiful lake, great for water activities!! the beds worked out perfectly for 5 people, thought u could definitely fit 7, maybe 8. the kitchen was equipped with quite enough, and the bathroom had sanitary products which was so convenient. there’s also a soft tub which was super warm and so relaxing, and an entire bar room with darts overlooking the water! we had so so so much fun here and it was seriously such a beautiful cottage, don’t let the lack of reviews fool you!! absolutely loved this so much:)

Brooke is a great host, proactive in her communication with us and very responsive. The area is very peaceful with the river flowing as you hear the water. It is unfortunate that during our stay the ice storm came through, however Brooke was very accommodating and responsive. We will definitely return to enjoy this getaway in warmer weather.

Just back from a two night stay at Chris and Hannah's cozy, comfortable cabin. The setting is spectacular nestled in the sugar bush of a working maple syrup producer. The cabin is ultra charming and well equipped. I dealt with Hannah who was warm, kind, and helpful without being obstrusive. For cold-weather visitors, note that shower is outside but just a step outside the back door, as is the private sauna. I would definitely return to this peaceful, charming place and recommend it to others.

This Airbnb is such a hidden gem! Located within the resort you are surrounded by super friendly folks but have enough space in the cottage and in your private fire pit to have some great time with your guests! The host was very responsive and made sure we knew about the corn roast and BBQ (which was phenomenal). Tons of activities and the view was so lovely. Never seen so many stars in my life. The host was also so fast to accommodate us when the wifi had connection issues and dealt with it in a very fast timely manner and it was smooth sailing from there. Definitely on my list to return to!

This fit my needs for time by myself to reflect and read. During my stay there was a ice storm which was something to experience. John proactively put out grit, and also drove me in his ATV to my car which was a great help. I will definitely be back.

We had a really great time at Cathy's place. The cabin is cozy and quiet, and it had everything we needed and then some. The sauna is an excellent touch! Cathy was very responsive to our messages and made sure we had everything we needed. We would be very glad to visit again!

This is a charming clean cabin. It feels private and is separated from the main house on the property. Ben was friendly and helpful. And it is just 100 meters by foot from a lovely view of Lake Ontario.

Jennifer was a wonderful host. The cabin was beautiful and cozy. My wife and I really enjoyed our short stay and will be back again in the future as a family with the kids. We had the best sleep in a long time on the cabin bed, it was so comfortable.
