La Havane : locations de vacances dans des casas particulares

Margarita's house is one of the most beautiful homes I've stayed in. The pictures don't actually do it justice. The back yard is very large and lush, full of fruit trees and song birds. The pool was a great place to spend the afternoon. The home has everything you might need. Margarita was very quick to answer any questions that we had. Niurka and Nieve, the sisters who cook breakfast and clean up, are so wonderful. We are gluten free and our daughter is also vegetarian. They provided great breakfasts full of fruit, cheese and eggs any way you want them. They could not, obviously, provide gluten free bread. However, we brought our own pancake mix and they became experts very quickly. We also asked them to prepare us some meals, which were delicious. The cost is similar to what you'd pay in a restaurant, but we had so much that we had leftovers for the next evening (and then some). A great chance to have some tasty Cuban cuisine. The house is in a small neighbourhood right across from the fortifications. If you want to get over to the other side of the harbour, you'll need a taxi (about 10 cuc). It's very peaceful. I really can't say enough about this place!

Ivis place is the place ti stay in Habana. Walkable distance between Havana Vieja and El Veda’s with the Malecón steps away. You really feel you are living in Havana staying and the Centre where regular Cubans go about their lives. There’s a few restaurant options and night venues not far away. The place is EXTREMELY CLEAN and it has all amenities for you to cook if needed. There was even salt and oil there as well as shower gel on the bathroom. Ivis allowed me to check in VERY early- 6 hours ahead checking time which I deeply appreciated and was always responsive and at reach. She has a very friendly and amicable manner as I’m discovering is common about Cubans. Will definitely come back. Price is great too for what it offers.

El lugar es fantástico, con excelente ubicación, la casa es muy linda y muy limpio todo. Martha es realmente una maravillosa anfitriona, está siempre preocupada de la llegada y durante toda la estadía. Incluso estaba muy pendiente de mi madre que estuvo algo enferma, facilitando incluso su propio teléfono para comunicarnos con la familia. Sin duda cuando vuelva volveré a alojarme en casa de Martha.

They let us in EARLY on short notice which was really cool. We were coming from another place we had to cancel because it did not match the photos at all. But Daniel's place was beautiful and clean. Would stay again!

Shhhhhhhh....!!!!! I'm in Cuba. Let me begin this review by saying I have stayed in another apartment in this same building earlier this year, yet jumped at the chance to rent out Ms. Marta's space for my friends who were visiting for the first time.... I have found my treasure in Vedado. The accommodation rival any 4-star hotel anywhere, clean beyond thought, spacious to no end and tuck in a neighborhood that has everything you need. My Host Senora Marta contacted me before I left and gave me such a reassurance, I couldn't help be find things perfect. Host was there at every turn to make sure this was the best visit... so if you are in town, book this spot for ultimate enjoyment, comfort and memories.... A million thanks aren't enough yet I will try.

Nice place in a great location, only a couple of blocks from the Malecon. Probably on of the best areas to stay in Havan. Olgui is an all-around great host! She and her team will take very good care of you, with just about anything you might need while in Havana.

Fomos muito bem recebidos por nossa anfitriã que nos ajudou em tudo que precisamos. A habitação estava limpa e tinha bons utensílios de cozinha, além de secador de cabelo e lavadora de roupas. Recomendo muito esse lugar.

lugar bem equipado, no centro de Havana vieja. o prédio tinha elevador, ar condicionado, ventiladores, dois banheiros e não faltou luz nem água quente em nenhum momento.. recomendo

Excelent host, awesome place to stay with nice views and with a great location. Walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. The apartment was very clean and well decorated. The host provided a map and useful recommendations for bars, restaurants and attractions. Would definitely come back to this place again.

This peaceful and bright apartment is a lovely spot near the Malecon and bay, with easy access the tourist and historical spots of Old Havana. There's a wonderful breeze coming from the bay and we opened the windows every morning and evening, which was a nice alternative to AC. The kitchen has coffee, sugar, salt and pepper. Be sure to ask Liliam for help to purchase groceries because non-locals can't easily buy. We got her help to purchase breakfast items and we had lunch and dinners out. Liliam and Elena were delightful and responsive. We recommend using a local guide to get the most of your visit. Of the 3 tour guides we used, there was one that stood above the others. His name is Chris Layvah and you'll find his info on the coffee table. We enjoyed our trip to Cuba, the friendly people we met, and the history we learned.

Loved the location! The place was spacious and comfortable. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I will return!

This was our final stop on a 16-day trip around Cuba. The loft is on a really lovely street in the old town that is unusually quiet and was bright and airy; the welcome was warm and personable. We experienced a country-wide power cut during the stay. Eugenio was on hand with a torch and candles and as the cooking was on gas there was no interruption in the delivery of a hot tasty breakfast the following morning. We are dog lovers so we thoroughly enjoyed the company of Candela the gorgeous golden retriever who hangs out waiting for cuddles on the terrace. The loft was a bit of a treat after staying in more basic places around the country. It was well worth the extra cost.

My stay at Tamara's home was great. Place itself looks better than on the photos. Stairs to the terrace are steep, but it is really worth climbing. Terrace is great to take some sun or just to enjoy the nights. The stove in the kitchen is working on gas, so even, if no electricity, you can cook your food. During a bad shortage of electricity, Ramon was ready to bring an electricity generator to fill the water tank. Shortly, place is great and hosts show genuine interest to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Beautiful apartment, exceptional host and family to support. Great location for the old town and absolutely worth the price. A place not to be missed

We had a wonderful stay - the hosts are so friendly and welcoming and we’re so helpful (especially with all our money questions!). The neighbourhood is authentic and safe. It was a perfect spot for our Havana trip and we definitely recommend.

My family and I absolutely loved Maria’s place! It’s in the old Havana area, and just wonderful! The apartment itself really exceeded our expectations and looked even better than on photos. Beautiful balcony, rooftop as well, with some amazing views. All the amenities are as listed, and there actually is WiFi which, you’ll see, is kinda hard to get in Cuba. She set up a taxi to pick us up on arrival, which was great, and we were able to enter the place a bit earlier since we arrived to Cuba at noon. Also there was a young lady there to help and bring anything you need, like water, toilet paper etc. I definitely recommend her place, and if I were to visit Cuba again, I would literally stay there again!

Nael and his team working at the house went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We had a ton of people in for my birthday from America, and they made us feel so safe, round the clock security, we always had snacks and drinks, their breakfast was the best in town, and our rooms were always cleaned and felt comfortable. We had the best time ever and I works absolutely go back and stay there! They even executed all the small details I asked them to do like custom napkins at different breakfasts, or shirts to wear that matched the theme- they all did it with a smile. We felt so taken care of and loved.
