Arfyn is situated in a glorious spot high enough for spectacular views. Spacious accommodation was exceptionally clean with high quality bedding which we appreciated. There was plenty of room for nine (we were 7) adults to spread out and relax, play games and enjoy the views. Kitchen was plenty big enough for our needs. Shower upstairs not as powerful as could be. Only one potential drawback is access to Arfyn is extremely steep and narrow and parking is in the road below the property making any wheelchair access very difficult. I did not check this beforehand but we managed and it was worth it! Highly recommend Arfyn as an exceptional venue in Aberdovey.

This is beautiful, modern and well equipped property within walking distance of everything Aberdovey has to offer. The hosts were very quick to respond and everything was exactly as we expected. We had a great stay over Christmas, very peaceful with fantastic views.

Gareth's place was exactly what we wanted. Our stay on New Years Eve was great. His home had definitely enough room for our whole large group, with a good downstairs seating area that even had a very large TV we could all play games on and watch tv and the whole place would heat up very warm too. The kitchen was very well stocked with plates and glasses etc. Furthermore, Pontwelly was lovely and the local were all nice and welcoming. There were also quite a few good pubs in the town and a supermarket a 2 minute walking distance away. The pictures do not do the location justice, as out the back of the hostel is a beautiful river with a short walk along it too. Highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay, well equipped house in a lovely location. Excellent pool & hot tubs. Really good location. Would definitely stay again!

Zoe is a great host, very friendly & communicative. The property was extremely clean, spacious & generally well equipped. Very private location enjoying beautiful scenery.

Quaint little cottage, comfortable and warm with central heating and a log fire. No heating in the dining room though, but it didn't matter at all to us, we just eat in the bedsit area. No tv but good WiFi, so able to watch programs or listen to radio on a tablet. Location - absolutely stunning, with beautiful walks during the day, and beavers around the fire pit in the evening- incredible!! Would we go again? - absolutely!! Tips - take a bag of carrots for the beavers, if there's no food out for them they won't stay long. Make sure you haven't forgotten anything, it's a long way to the shops!

David and his son Gary welcomed us also Gary's partner Jodie. The cottage was very clean and warm all comforts you require. Bed was huge and comfy. location was ideal what we were after so quiet and scenic with lovely lake to fish. Thanks guys we will return gladly !!!

A perfect base to explore a beautiful part of Wales . The accommodation is exactly as described, very clean with everything we needed. Karen is a great host and we were made to feel very welcome

Our family had a wonderful stay here over the festive period. The house was immaculate with all amenities you will need. The hosts are super friendly and responsive - I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you Quentin and Natasha for making our stay so special!

Carl and I had an excellent five days here over Christmas. The Wi-Fi/TV were a bit temperamental following the storm, but Gyles was happy to come round and look at it for us. I particularly enjoyed exploring the woodland behind the cottage, our dog loved it too.

I had a relaxing and peaceful stay at The Hideaway. Carol was helpful and friendly, ready and waiting for me to arrive. The Cottage was immaculate. Clean, tidy, and cosy, and the perfect place to relax.

Fantastic location and lovely stay. Hot tub was lovely warm and easy to use but could do with a. Table to put drinks/phone. Outside deck chair were missing a screw and a bit unstable but great view. Lovely clean and tidy inside - lots of space and very cosy. Overall - great location and fantastic stay and lots of things nearby. Would definetly come back and good value.
