Great place, hosts were very helpful & allowed our workers to check in a little earlier. Place was just as described in the listing, clean & a very nice quiet location

The location was absolutely fantastic. There was very strong wind and rain during our stay but we could enjoy watching the spectacular waves in the warm and dry with a nice hot drink sitting in the mid layer sitting room 🥰

Ian and Catherine are really lovely people. They both recommended us perfect places to explore and eat. The house was a good choice for us. The room was clean, tidy and well done. The location was 5mins from the beach and everything else was just walkable. The town in itself is a great place for a weekend getaway and more if you have more holidays. Haha. It will make you feel relaxed and at peace. Also all shops close by 5-6 so we spent enough time at pubs and arcade too while enjoying the night beach views. We would really recommend the Vale of Rheidol railway tour.

A well appointed, comfortable home. Aberdovey is obviously a very beautiful part of the country which was only enhanced by Carolyn's house. We were very cosy in what was a very cold spell in Wales.

We really loved our stay. The house is by the car park for parking and only 1 min walk from the main shopping street. We went to The Printworks restaurant while we were there which was wonderful and we would highly recommend. Everything in the house worked perfectly, the wood burner was great and the bed was comfortable. We will definitely be back. Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely place.

What a beautiful house, the rooms were spacious. The kitchen had everything you would need, would definitely stay again.

It was perfect for our two night stay. Conviently located to explore both the coast and the town which are easy walking distance. The house was spotlessly clean and has everything you need and more. It is superbly well equiped. The bathrooms are lovely and the beds are comfy. The views are stunning of the harbour with hills behind.

Wonderful house in a great location. The house is in a central location but nice and quiet. It is tastefully decorated and has everything you need. The movie room in the basement and the pretty courtyard are a bonus. The house is great for families as lots of space and different zones to use.

We stayed at Helen’s place end of March 2025, and we were pleasantly surprised with some good weather. Arriving at the house felt like a home from home, Helen had provided us with a welcome pack of goodies, the cot provided for our toddler was wooden (was expecting a travel cot!) and the furniture and furnishings were beautiful. Close proximity to town and seafront and the downstairs area was safe for my toddler which made it stress free! Group of 4 adults and 1 child and the space was perfect for us.

A great cottage for the 5 of us that stayed, large bedrooms, comfy beds and an ideal location to the train station too. Also only around a 5 min walk to the beach or the high street and shops.
