What can I say about this place.. 100 things 100 times over!! I did not want to leave! On top of the amazing customer service despite it being a self check in, I felt super welcome immediately and made to sure his property which was absolutely to die for stunning; And looks far better than the photos lead on to believe, was kept squeaky clean and decluttered, exactly how it was when we arrived! Was meant to be only a simple stay for us as we intended on doing hikes in the local area but it ended up being the total highlight of our trip! Being able to allow our four dogs off leash from the front door of the property with no worries was absolutely amazing and they all extremely enjoyable the independence and joy of well kept, Clean grass, and the completely enclosed area surrounding ten Entire property, part of it with the main castle and part of it completely private with the hot tub and sauna to the rear. Never have I ever felt so secure in a property than this home. Highly recommend!!

We had the best time for my 30th birthday weekend at the Octagon. Every inch was clearly built with love and by such kind and friendly people. I wouldn’t have had it any other way, thank you so much!

Great stay for a large group; lots of beds for all. Fantastic location - quiet neighbourhood but convenient to get into the centre. Responsive host. Highly recommended, would stay again!

Absolutely amazing place, so peacefull. A great little wooden cabin with a log burner. shared toilet facilities further down the farm but that was non-issue. A lack of a shower block is the only downfall but absolutely doesn't take away from how much we enjoyed it, we will definitely stay again if in the area. Loved every minute of it. Dot is extremely helpful too. Top quality all round.

We had a fantastic stay in Aldens Shepards hut it was perfect, perfect enough that we extended our stay for another night because we couldn’t bring ourselves to leave! This stay ticked every box, peaceful, relaxing, clean, great host, and we slept wonderfully. The hammocks were a great touch and with good instructions we used the cast iron pan to cook outside and made sausage mash and gravy. And it was delicious! Thank you Dot for a wonderful experience, and it being sustainable has made me even more environmentally cautious over how much water I can reduce wasting moving forward. All the best and I hope to be back soon!!

The stay at the farm in the barn house was beautiful. Me and my fiancé took our 3 dogs and it could not have been anymore perfect. The barn was rustic with character and very cosy by the log burner fire. The scenery and views are stunning, especially in the hot tub. The hot tub BBQ area was enclosed which was ideal, we could let our poochies run around whilst we relaxed in the tub. Richard was incredibly welcoming and friendly and very accommodating. He shown us around his farm and we got to meet his cows. We enjoyed it so much that we booked an extra night! 100% worth the money and will definitely be returning in the future. We had a great trip, the barn is really comfortable and a perfect size for a group stay. The hot tub is lovely and the area is secluded with great views. Susan was a really responsive host and easy to communicate with throughout. Thanks for a lovely weekend.

Great little find. Unfortunately it was only a place to lay our head before travelling from Manchester airport the next day. Really wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful home, very clean and aesthetically pleasing! This is also such a well stocked Air Bnb and felt like all the little details had been thought of. Highly recomend. Thanks so much.

Jane communicated all we needed to know. Getting in to the property was easy. lovely bungalow, very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Good shower. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Local walks were fantastic, would definitely book again

Terri was at the property when we arrived and keen to show us around. This was a weekend to celebrate my wife's 60th. There was 7 adults, 2 children and 3 dogs. The cottage met our needs in every way and Terri was a wonderful host. We used the old hall inn twice and also the green lane social across the road from the cottage, both were brilliant. Nothing negative to post at all. Thanks 😃

We had a lovely weekend at Swallows Nest, the property is really spacious and set on 3 levels. My eldest son joined us from Manchester and we were able to watch the moon raking festival which was really pretty and great fun. Thanks for a lovely time, would really recommend

My daughter and I had a lovely weekend stay. The cottage has been done beautifully and Jane has thought of absolutely everything to make your stay comfortable. Great wine bar and new bistro in town and easy to get into Manchester by train from station 10 mins away. Would definitely stay again.

We visited to celebrate a big birthday and the house more than accommodated the 10 of us. The kitchen was very well stocked and there was a whole cupboard of board games. The hosts were welcoming and the house was stunning.

We had a wonderful stay in Linda's chicken barn. The owner is so thoughtful with welcome notes and wine on our arrival. The barn is fully equipped with lots of towels, things for quick breakfast and hot drinks, real feel home and comfortable. The barn is well decorated with chicken farm items. We even found the perfect BBQ kits and equipment to have a BBQ on second day of our arrival, that was really blessing. The layout of the barn was a surprise, but we quickly grown love it. The location is beautiful and quiet. Many hiking routes at the footsteps. We are a couple with two grown-up boys. We found so much to do in the area, boys found lots of climbing (bouldering). Together we did hiking, walking through gorges, caves. These places are all in 40 minutes driving distance. Many thanks for the barn, the loving and caring you have put in.

Second time we have stopped with Hilly. Her place is fab so well kitted out and comfortable. We love it and highly recommend it. Easy access to the Dales and the happy valleys of west Yorkshire. The space is fab for a couple of a small family. Hebden bridge or Halifax are 20 minutes away. I recommend getting a coffee and snack in the Piece Hall in Halifax absolutely stunning. I think we will be back.

We absolutely loved our stay and couldn't ask for better host❤️It's a beautiful flat with huge attention to details and small personal touches were super cute😊It's a great location and wee balcony was my personal favourite! Warren is awesome and never met another host who cared so much about their guests.Honestly couldn't fault it and will book again next time I'm in Manchester Massive thank you once again for making us feel so welcome❤️❤️

Great in every way. Lovely hosts, comfy, cozy, clean and well equipped. Having trees and drying area was a treat. Breakfast goodies much appreciated too! Poynton high street has so many scrumptious cafes and eating places. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay, the house is spacious, clean and comfortable. Lovely secluded back garden to look out on from the living room. Beds comfy, little touches provided like extra blankets, soap stuff in bathroom etc. Really appreciated Simon's flexibility on check in time. Would stay there again.

I stayed with my mum and friends in the Airbnb for around one week. It is stylish, clean and comfortable. It is in a convenient location with lots of restaurants. Andy and Paula are great hosts. I once had some problem with opening the main door lock. Andy was responsive and called me directly and gave me clear instructions to help. I really have an enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this place to others.

Steven was so friendly and accommodating. He allowed to check out a little later so I didn’t need to get to the train station too early. The night I arrived, he even offered to join him and his family for an outing in the event that my friend would be not available to see me as it was a school night and he had to work the next day. So all in all, he really went out of his way to make you feel very welcome from the moment you arrived. The accommodation had EVERYTHING you might need. Just one example, I’d forgotten my shower gel and shampoo - but no worries, there was some there available! You also had different refuse bags available in case you wanted to separate your food waste from the rest. The wifi worked perfectly throughout the property. You are only a 5-10 min walk away from all the best that Chorlton-cum-Hardy has to offer, and to the local tram stop which takes you the centre of Manchester in 10 minutes, as well as Didsbury, Victoria station, and Manchester airport.

I've been in many Airbnbs in my time, and this has to be the most equipt place I've stayed in, so far.. Everything you need to have a home from home feel to your stay. Very cosy, nice separate areas for eating, sleeping, watching TV and even a great garden right outside to enjoy. I think the only thing I would want to see have an upgrade would be the shower, but was still able to freshen up and feel relaxed. I Would definitely book here again. Great location, great place, great host..what more do you need?!
