Beautiful Airbnb in the heart of South Main! Easy walk to The Surf Hotel, boulder garden, restaurants and the river. The beds were extremely comfortable. We would definitely consider booking again! The only thing to be aware of is that South Main has construction going on. Throughout the day dump trucks and other construction vehicles could be heard driving by the property. However none of the construction is immediately next door and it was quiet at night.

It was a wonderful home! We enjoyed the stay alot! It is definitely as described, a cozy rest stop, but not really a place to spend all day.

We were only at Renee’s place for one night. We would have loved to stay longer! It was super clean and nicely decorated. I would highly recommend Renee’s place!

We've stayed in many rentals over the years and this one is just perfect! It's a basement unit but windows let in light--I also think it was quieter being on base floor. We stayed during a very quiet time--not busy , no one staying in the upper units. BV is an awesome town and this unit is located in the new/upcoming area of South Main, VERY easy stroll to the ever beautiful Arkansas River , Surf Hotel (great dinner) and Eddyline Brewery. You can also easily walk to the 'OG' Main Street for more restaurant choices (Simple Eatery is so good!). The unit was exceptionally clean, kitchen well-stocked (with nicely upgraded dish/cookware), great shower am comfy bed. I highly recommend staying at the Alpine Den :)

I had to book this place very last minute due to a different airbnb not working out, and it was so great! Very nice space and easy check in.

Lovely quiet spot. As a solo traveler I felt safe. I went in the mornings to the hot springs, cottonwood is only 15 min away. Pretty large for a studio. It is attached to their house, but I didn’t hear any noise. It was nice to feel the river nearby even though it was very cold outside so I didn’t really go down. Thanks for hosting, I would definitely come back.

Loved my cozy stay! It was the perfect spot for a solo trip to BV. Great communication and personal touches put the icing on the cake!

Wonderful unit. Some friends of ours rented it a couple of years ago and we were lucky enough to be able to rent it this year before they did! Amazing location, cozy, and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Washer and dryer worked great. We definitely plan on renting it again.

This is a wonderful property, the pictures don’t do it justice! Super comfortable bedrooms and lovely kitchen with everything you need for coffee, tea, cooking and oven. There is a door that divides the bedrooms/bathroom part of the house and the common areas — this was super convenient in the morning, as it was quiet for those sleeping in. Biking distance to the aquatic center and near a grocery store. Communication with owners went smoothly, the rooms are beautifully decorated, lots of personal details. Would definitely come back!

The technology and the Wi-Fi service need to be upgraded to today standards with so many live programs being shown on Netflix and prime. It’s important that the devices that are being used are to today standards. You had various nights we couldn’t watch anything because either the cable was not upgraded to various channels or the devices would not stream live events because it said on the screen, the device was too old. My suggestion is to get an Apple TV download the most used apps, things like HBO Netflix, Amazon prime and allow people to login to enjoy their stay in the evening. My other advice would be to get a hot tub. It would be great to have after skiing.

We had a wonderful time! As soon as we got there, we felt like at home. Tom was always very responsive and accommodating. We loved our stay!

The house was very roomy for the 6 people in our group. The master bathroom was especially spacious with a double sink vanity. We were excited to be in walking distance to downtown Salida and the river. We utilized the BBQ grill and enjoyed family time in the backyard area.

The place was very clean, modern, and comfortable. A great place to stay if you are visiting Salida as it is a short drive to downtown, and on a good day, a moderate walk!

The house is very nice. It’s an easy half-mile walk to downtown Salida, which is filled with a large variety of restaurants and shops. The Arkansas River is nearby and features a lovely paved walking trail. The owners are very responsive and accommodating—they even let us check in early, which was incredibly kind since we arrived before the scheduled check-in time. We have no complaints at all. It was perfect for what we needed.

Rob's home is a perfect home base for a stay in Buena Vista! It is walkable to downtown and close to lots of trails and activities. The large backyard is ideal for dogs!

The apartment was spacious, clean, and in a great spot walkable to all Salida has to offer. The designated parking spot is a bonus as that can be hard to come by in Salida's downtown. I would definitely book again!

We had a wonderful experience and everything was very well organized and clean. The location is great and we loved the coffee space right across the parking lot. The two TV’s are great and the kitchen had everything we need. Highly recommend!

I love this spot! Have stayed a few times and always enjoy it when we do. Always very clean. Located downtown Salida- it’s walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. About a thirty minute drive to Monarch Mountain. This is our fav place to stay when we have a ski weekend without our dogs (not pet friendly). Pros- super clean, walkable, cute, downtown, distance to great restaurants, distance to river, safe area, easy parking (reserved spot) Cons- none for us!

Good stay overall; only thing I want to mention is that the walls are indeed very thin, but this is stated in the listing so not the owners fault at all. Thank you!

Fantastic location! So much to do—a block from the river park, walking distance to shops and restaurants! Clean and comfortable! Would definitely stay there again!

Sierra and Sage were amazing hosts and very responsive to us with our questions and needs. The property itself cannot be beat when it comes to easy access to downtown Salida, hikes, fishing on the river, and an easy drive to Monarch for skiing. We absolutely loved our stay and it checked all the boxes for what we needed, even with a 6 and 8 year old tagging along. Thanks for everything!

Great location! Right in the middle of downtown. Small walk to the river, restaurants, etc. Gina's place was clean, and has a lot of character. There are many blankets and amenities for your comfort, however, it is a shared common area and noise travels. we recommend bringing ear plugs just in case. We loved staying here and would love to come back again!
