My husband and I visited for Carnival 2024 Herald and carol airbnb is about 30 minutes from the airport but it quick easy to get there no hassle little to no traffic . The couple was super friendly, the place is just as the pictures , we felt right at home , very clean , the place is like 5 to 10 minutes drive from many malls , with gps it’s very easy to get to Port of Spain , the beach or if you coming for events . You have privacy and we felt super safe cause it’s gated , thank you herald and carol for making our stay so much better, we appreciated how amazing your hospitality was .

Staying here was truly a home away from home experience. The atmosphere was peaceful and offered the perfect level of privacy, allowing me to unwind and feel completely at ease. The quiet surroundings made it easy to relax, and all the amenities were thoughtfully provided. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a serene and private getaway.

The good: the place was clean, had basic amenities and quiet. Host did répond when items were needed. The bad: when I say basic amenities I mean basic. We were there for 10 days but 1 towel and was given per person. No extra linens of any kind. Everything had to be asked for. Would have been nice to already have everything needed for such a long stay. The laundry is a bit dirty/rusty so we did not use it. And the shower with the glass that is seen in the room is a bit weird although the did throw a curtain on it. No coffee maker no items in the Airbnb to greet the guests. Just small thing expected that we’re not there. But all in all if I needed a place to stay for carnival again and didn’t find anything close to family I’d go back since I now know what to expect. It wasn’t terrible by any means, just could use some small changes to make it great.

Highly recommend Shari and Ailsa's place! They were fantastic hosts who kept in touch with us throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect - just a 10-minute walk from the bus route and a quick 2-minute taxi ride away. The space itself was immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable. We had a peaceful stay with no disturbances whatsoever. It was the perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and quiet. Shari and Ailsa's communication and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. We’re very grateful to Simi and Clytus for all of their great help in making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They had everything we needed ready for us including some local treats and food so we had time to settle in and get our bearings. After our outings it was so nice to come “home” to comfort. Very beautiful and just as pictured wish I could have stayed longer. Felt right at home I will definitely book this place this place again. Words truly can’t describe 10/10. The host was also very responsive and tho my stay was short notice they accommodated me still thank you thank you!!!!

This is my go to place & Allana is awesome. I encountered a problem which was out of any Hosts hands and and she swiftly swooped in to alleviate things. I appreciate good people and good hosts and she is that indeed, and her place is as comfortable as my last time here I feel homely when I am inside. Thank You Allana.

What a great spot to stay! It looks exactly as pictured and is nice and roomy, with everything you need for a comfortable and quiet stay. Neighbours in the building are hardly noticeable. The host does a wonderful job, filling a basket with amazing snacks, and then further added a lovely platter of fruit, and then also a few grocery items to get us started for our first breakfast. Honestly everything was over and above expectations, and I would choose this place again for a future stay.

Home away from home

Very easy check in and out process with the instructions provided. Host was also very responsive. The condo is very spacious and comfortable with accurate description following the listing. Surrounding area is very safe and secured with lots of near by restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!
