My stay in Adarsh ji's place truly felt like a home away from home. The check-in process was seamless, and the peaceful environment added to the charm. Adarsh ji was a helpful and cordial host fulfilling all the requests that we put forward to him. The kitchenite was cute but you can cook well if you are an expert at it. The apartment was exactly as shown in the listing, making the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The place is just 15 mins walkable distance to Kashi Vishwanath temple, Kaal Bhairav temple, Dashashwamedh Ghat, 5mins walkable distance from Manikarnika Ghat. 1 mins walkable distance to the famous Ram Bhandar. 15mins walk to Kashi Chat Bhandar, Kashi cafe and many more food joints. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking to walk down the narrow lanes of Varanasi and enjoy the authentic Varanasi food as well as the ambience.

This is a wonderful place to stay - it's immaculate and well looked after, and convenient (15 mins walk) for visiting the main sights in Sarnath. It's also only 30 minutes by auto from the old city or the train station in Varanasi. Vivek is based in the USA but made himself available to answer any questions and provide help if needed. He was also very good at communciation and was very accomodating around arrival and departure times. His parents, who live on the ground floor, look after the place and are really friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there, and would strongly recommend it to other visitors.

Banaras ki Galiyan…One must witness to understand this phrase. With this in mind, I set out to search for the options for our stay. Rungta Niwas fit every bill and a was perfect choice. Upon arriving in Varanasi we were picked up by our taxi guy and he left us on the main road saying the house is in one of the galiyan’s and we need to take Toto (e-rickshaw). Obvious question is how far is the house. But surprisingly, it was hardly 200m from the main road. We were greeted by Ajay ji who helped us to locate the house and showed around. House is as described in AirBnB and as shown in the pictures. This place is close to Gaay Ghat and Kal Bhairav Mandir. There are several options for food near-by. My mom and dad who are 70+ enjoyed this place even though it posed logistical challenges for them. Ajay ji and Kavita ji are wonderful hosts and we felt at home with their hospitality. I recommend this place to all who want to experience Banaras first hand.

Host makes the place worth 8 stars instead of 5. in fact he was less of a host, and more of a younger member of the group, helping to get things done. Additionally, I found that the vehicles that he hired for us charged rates below what I could have found for myself. In fact, in the same trip, in another city, the host tried booking for us and we discovered soon that the opposite happened. This shows that this host is trustworthy, which is not something that you can find usually, just like that. Location is little away from city center, but with the noise of the city, this one is actually a blessing, and can reach most places soon enough. Beds and linen were good. wifi - good. Kitchen, fine. Now the cons. The bathroom water taps. Water just comes out in a trickle, and adds 7-8 min to each bath. Certainly needs a fix, which the host is looking into. Washing machine is outdated too. These knock down a few stars, but still solid 5+ stars We wish the younger host a bright future.

We were a group of 6, 4 adults and 2 children. We greatly enjoyed our time here, from the very beginning our hosts took great care of us, they were attentive and helpful to any need we had. They were great to our children and made us feel like part of the family. The place is in an ideal location to explore the city, we enjoyed walking to the ghats at sunrise and sunset. Another highlight for us were the meals, we ate almost every meal, breakfast, lunch and dinner at the house. They would ask what we wanted but we would request that they choose and every meal we had was delicious and wonderful. As much as we enjoyed the city and seeing the sites the highlight of the trip was getting to know and being welcomed by the hosts. We highly recommend this place to anyone that wishes to experience Varanasi!

Everything was just so perfect and beautiful. Ranjan Bhaiya is such a nice host.Staying there felt like home. We even forgot to return the keys and he simply came more than half the way to collect the keys.He is such a gentleman and the stay is worthy of 5 star rating.

Harsh is a great and very hospitable air bnb owner. He is super friendly and goes extra mile to make you feel comfortable. We went with an infant to Varanasi and had few requests- harsh helped us out a lot. The property is located in the heart of city and everything is walkable. It is located in the quaint streets of Banaras near the main temple. You should be ready to walk the narrow lanes Would recommend the place if you are up for full Varanasi experience

It was really a good place to stay with family and I would definitely recommend this place to stay when you visit varansi.
