The villa is absolutely gorgeous. It is in a small town with no facilities (apart from a very informal cafe next door), but the quiet area was exactly what we were looking for. Yes there are some dogs etc, but not excessive, the noise is just local life in the town, which was actually really lovely. The hosts were extremely communicative, we had a few minor issues, but they were sorted in a matter of minutes! Loads of tavernas, beaches, supermarkets within a very short drive, spoilt for choice for loads of amazing food. Highly recommend a stay here, the villa, area, food and people were all fantastic.

We were a party of five, my wife and I and 3 30 year olds, our two twins and a son-in-law. We all couldn't say enough good things about this home: the view has to be one of the best on the whole island, relaxing, extremely private and immediately felt right at home. Starting and ending each day with that view, I didn't need anything else, but there is as much to do as you want. For example, just 6 minutes down the hill, you have the great little town of Platka with a few delicious local restaurants, market and a nice sports bar if you want a cocktail...like me. Another 10 minutes down the hill you come to Alymrida, the small coastal city that has nearly a dozen varied restaurants right on the water. 40 minutes away is the charming city of Chania, the jewel of Crete. This home is centrally located, 20+ minutes from the highway to go anywhere you wish to go...but keep in mind your leaving this view behind. I hope you enjoy it half as much as we did.

Andrea's villa and location was as wonderful as we'd hoped. We loved swimming in our private pool before breakfast and the view of the ocean from the terrace was outstanding, especially for sunsets, which were spectacular. The location was great, being situated away from crowds but with easy access to many beautiful beaches and tavernas. Andrea's handy hints were really useful, from where to refill water bottles from a spring, or which taverna on Sfinari beach to visit. He responded very quickly if we had any questions, so overall cannot recommend this villa highly enough. Thanks Andrea!

Wonderful House in beautiful surroundings, big garden, great pool, great views. We really felt at home, every kitchen tool an all necessities were there, shelves full of books in english, german an norwegian language. Eivind is a very nice host who answered promptly to all questions and provided valuable recommendations for nearby restaurants and beaches. We had a wonderful time on Crete!

The villa is lovely and has everything you need for a holiday. Clean and well maintained. There was extra cleaning during the week. Great view of the sea and the mountains. The cars passing on the main road, which is 100m below the villa, create a slight noise, but it is not unbearable. Maria is a great host and despite the late evening time of arrival she was waiting for us with a smile. She took care of us all the time and gave us valuable advice. There was a problem with the dishwasher, which was fixed the next day as soon as I informed Maria. We had a great week and would come back again.

Siisti ja puhdas asunto. Christos vastasi hyvin nopeasti ja antoi hyviä vinkkejä vierailuun. Paikka on vähän haastavalla sijainnilla mutta autolla pärjää hyvin.

We stayed at the end of October and could not have been happier with this villa. it was spotless, spacious and comfortable for 4 adults and 4 children. The access to the water park for free was excellent for the kids and the last day of opening for the season was on the day we left. The facilities were excellent and the lovely pool and outdoor barbecue area were all great to use. Lots of local supermarkets and restaurants within a km and good access to the beach. It's a first floor property which might be an issue with the steps but we liked having views from every room to the sea and beach. We couldn't really ask for anything else in our stay and if we come back to Crete we would look to stay here again. It's a short drive from Chania. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, offering help with hire cars and local amenities, but they left us to it. We had a great holiday in Crete and a lot of this was down to this superb accommodation we were lucky to find available for our stay

What an amazing place! Ioannis has thought about everything you could ever need and it is there!! Every thing was immaculate, beautiful white linen, beach towels, the best kitchen ever. Ioannis very thoughtfully had provided large bottles of water and fresh fruit in the fridge which I thought was wonderful. We had a problem on arrival which was sorted so quickly, thank you Ioannis! We have been to many Airb&bs and this was the best. So near the sea and fantastic restaurants, i miss the wonderful food! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay

Was für ein wundervolles Haus ❤️ wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Wunderschöner ruhiger Ort mit großer Terrasse zum Essen bei Sonnenauf- und Untergang. mitten in der Natur. Super bequeme Betten u allem im Haus was man braucht. Unser Lieblingsplatz auf Kreta geworden. Vielen lieben Dank Ioanna.

Meine 4 besten Freundinnen und ich haben eine Woche in dem Häuschen von Tom verbracht und wir waren von vorne bis hinten begeistert! Die Aussicht von der wunderschönen Terrasse war traumhaft und wir haben es geliebt, hier zu frühstücken, Abend zu essen, an dem Grill zu grillen oder einfach nur zusammen zu sitzen und Spiele zu spielen. Das Haus selbst war ebenfalls richtig hübsch und sehr ordentlich. Alles, was wir brauchten, war vorhanden. Die Räume sind in wirklich viel geräumiger, als sie auf den Fotos scheinen, was uns sehr positiv überrascht hat. Die Küche war mit den wichtigsten Utensilien ausgestattet. Die Dusche hatte immer warmes Wasser und der Duschkopf einen guten Wasserdruck. Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren sauber. Jedes Zimmer ist meiner AC ausgestattet. Ab und zu wurden wir von einem zucker-süßen Dackel besucht. Tom ist sehr nett und offen für Empfehlungen! Wir können die Unterkunft von Tom mehr als empfehlen und würden uns freuen, irgendwann wiederzukommen. :)

It feels like home as soon as we arrived at Grigoris's place. We were welcomed by Christina (Grigoris mom, hope we got the name right). Christina was super friendly and helpful through our stay. She brought to us some home cooked Greek pastries and biscuits next day and we loved them. The house looks and feels better than the photos. Beautiful sea view in a quiet area. We felt so relaxpastIt has everything you need to enjoy your stay there. Great place for a family. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back. Lots of lovely memory. Casa molto bella e arredata in modo funzionale. Posizione panoramica con bellissima vista. Necessario avere a disposizione una macchina per gli spostamenti. Molto comoda la terrazza coperta nella quale si può mangiare. Ottima l’accoglienza da parte di Stavros, ci ha fatto trovare al nostro arrivo anche delle buonissime specialità cretesi che abbiamo mangiato la prima sera a cena. Consiglio la casa a chi cerca un posto tranquillo e lontano dal caos.

Lovely stay, in a lovely house with a wonderfully attentive and kind host. Really good position for touring Western Crete, a car is obviously a must but the drives to places are really spectacular ( most drives are just over the hour to the south and west coasts). We did stay in November which sees very quiet roads and deserted beaches - like most of the Greek Islands the shoulder months are the time to see them at their very best. We would love to come back in Spring.

Appartamento ben ristrutturato, molto spazioso e con ogni comfort a disposizione degli ospiti. Una bellissima terrazza vista mare dove poter ammirare il tramonto e un giardino curatissimo lo rendono veramente speciale. Vaia, Nikolas e l’intera famiglia si sono dimostrati da subito disponibili ed ospitali, li ricordiamo con affetto e simpatia.

Grazie Batilas family! Siamo stati benissimo a casa vostra, tutto era perfetto per le nostre esigenze, avendo 4 bambini. La casa è fornita di tutto quello che serve, pulita, con un bellissimo spazio esterno. Vicinissima alle spiagge della zona, comoda per raggiungere a piedi il villaggio accanto. Krysanthi und ihre Tochter Melina waren unglaublich nette, hilfreiche und informative Gastgeber. Das Häuschen ist zwar klein, aber sehr liebevoll mit Bildern und Wandmalereien von Krysanthi geschmückt. Die Lage ist perfekt, um die Region zu erkunden! Absolute Empfehlung.

Es war alles einfach einwandfrei. Man kriegt genau das, was versprochen wird und Evi ist äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, von höflich sowie nett ganz zu schweigen. Sie antwortet sehr schnell und bietet tolle Wegbeschreibungen und Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Aktivitäten in der Nähe. Die Unterkunft war sauber und bietet alles, was man benötigt. Der Ausblick vom Garten mit Grill und Hängematte ist fabelhaft, mit dem Meer in Sichtweite und ruhigerer Berglandschaft ringsum. Das Innendesign ist angenehm fürs Auge und mit Sorgfalt zusammengestellt. Zudem sind auch die Betten in den klimatisierten Schlafzimmer überaus bequem, die ausgefallene Dusche ist einfach nur cool und sie bietet einem sogar einen Sonnenschutz fürs Auto. Man kann sie nur herzlichst weiterempfehlen.

The house is spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable and firm, the ACs do their job. The terrace on the upper floor offer breathtaking view views of the sunset. The neighborhood is very peaceful and calm, away from urban crowd, yet mere 30mins to the city center. Many beautiful beaches nearby. We especially loved the private inner garden with the shower. Petros is a responsive and understanding host. Fully recommend!

Très bon séjour de deux semaines dans cette jolie villa faisant partie d'un petit groupe de 4 maisons autour de la piscine commune (attention : profonde à 1,80 m sur toute la surface, non close en partie), piscine très propre et agréable . Maison très propre, joliment décorée.Les villages de Kalyves , Neo Chorio, Armenoi et Vrisses permettent de faire les courses utiles à quelques kilomètres d'où la nécessité d'avoir un véhicule. La plage de Kalyves est à 5 km , belle plage de sable, avec transats et parasols à un prix raisonnable. Bon point de départ pour aller à Rethymnon, La Canée, le lac de Kournas, les petits villages aux alentours.... Le petit restaurant Dorsostalia à Armenoi était très bien. Excellent accueil et plats typiques crétois..

Tolles Haus, super Klimaanlage, wir hatten jeden Tag über 30 Grad und waren deshalb über die gut funktionierenden Klimaanlagen sehr erfreut. Kontakt war sehr schnell und sehr freundlich. Parkmöglichkeit direkt vor dem Haus. Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich. TV Programm nur in griechisch, war für uns nicht wichtig, möchte aber nur kurz darauf hinweisen :-)

Nice private location as well as within driving distance to local towns (kalyves 5 mins, almyrida 10 mins, Chania old town 25 mins) definitely recommend hiring a car. Located about 30 minutes from the airport but very easy to find! Pool bigger than expected not too deep, the villa was spotless, AC was brilliant, had everything you needed. Uncle was lovely and very helpful if we needed anything! Had lovely visits from the little blind cat

Fantastic villa, we stayed with 14 guests and loved every minute of it. The hosts were extremely helpful, looking forward to going back here sometime in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at Xeni's, Dimitri was the best host ever and so helpful. We had four very sick adults and he went to the Chemist for me and got us medicine and would not accept any payment, he was so so kind. His children met us at midnight as we had a late flight into Crete. The house was amazing and the fridge was full when we arrived ham, cheese, water, fruit, wine eggs all you need for the first few days. The beds are comfortable and the AC works perfectly. The beach is 50 meters away, as are the pubs and restaurants, great location. We will be back. Dimitris was the best host we have ever met. Thank you so much. Gillian and Family
