Char is truly an excellent host. Very responsive, proactive and communicative. The entire space was very clean, well arranged and decorated in a very calming and welcoming manner. The back deck is very beautiful and many hours can be spent bird watching from there. Everything was as described. This is truly a very special place to stay and it was a privilege staying here.

Great place steps from the beach! Loved the layout of this home: Ground floor is garage, and thru the garage, one BR and half bath. 2nd floor is main space with kitchen, dining, living room areas, 2BRs and full bath. 3rd floor has 1 large bedroom and 1 large full bathroom, and a second smaller living room with TV. 4th floor is rooftop deck (only accessible from 3rd floor) with beautiful view of ocean, complete with BBQ, patio table, lounging chairs.

Was in town for work and Meredith’s place seemed like the right fit and it definitely was. Cozy and spacious. Steps away from the beach too which was a plus!

It's a wonderful place to stay, very clean, excellent location and great amenities. As an added bonus, there is a orange tree in the backyard that we were able to pick from. Lisa was flexible for us in on time of arrival, and took the time to ensure we had everything we needed when we arrived.

We had a great time staying here. The hot tub was a huge benefit and we liked having two individual units. Everything was very clean and Kristy was super responsive and helpful

We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb. Beautiful house and gardens in the perfect setting. David and Helena were very responsive and accommodating.

BH We’ve been trying to get away for a long time, and we’re looking for the right place, somewhere off the grid, scenic, and relaxing. Boy did we score big! The stunning views of the “boulder river”, the entire property to ourselves, with every small detail warm and inviting, we were thrilled and would recommend this anyone in a heartbeat. Spacious, clean lodgings on the first floor of an older home with very quiet renters upstairs. It worked great for our two-week stay in Ventura.

We returned to this location as it has an ever so beautiful location. The deck is very big, allowing for all seven of us to enjoy the waves, surfers, dolphins, and seals. The bedrooms each allow privacy. Our granddaughter had a private bedroom, sharing a bathroom with her parents. The photos are accurate. A bonus we had this time was meeting “Gidget”, aka Kathy, who is sometimes in attendance at Duke’s. She is the person the movies were based upon. A delightful person! If you’re looking for a spot for a group, snap this up!

Although the place was obviously older, they did a great job with decorating it and updating it. Jason was great and very responsive during the stay as well.

Leah's place is great in every way. The unit is bright, well organized, very clean and has all the amenities needed by a traveler. The location is excellent--in the heart of Carpinteria so you can walk to everything--restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store and the beach.

Comfortable place in a quiet complex with private entry to the beach. Convenient location to explore the area from.

William provided clear and helpful instructions. We arrived late and had no issues entering gated area and the space was easy to find. It was a clean space, with a fully stocked kitchen, calming vibes throughout the community. We enjoyed walks on the beach. Great location! It looks like the pictures. Hope to return again soon. *****Highly Recommend Roza was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. My family and I enjoyed our peaceful stay with a short walk to the beach. Our first impression was welcoming, well stocked and cozy. It was bonus to be given access to the the Community Clubhouse which offered an indoor pool, gym and other activities. This location exceeded our expectations. We will definitely stay again!

We stayed there on our way back from LA to San Fran. It was an absolute surprise. Shamim is truly a super host. And the place was a gem. It was neat and clean, and everything was provided. Instructions were very clear and had a keyless entry. Dedicated parking was a great convenience. The absolute best part was the private access to the Beach. And the beach was gorgeous and expansive—a large flat swath of fine sand land all to yourself. It reminded me of the Copa Cabana beach section in front of our five-star hotel in the early morning when there was hardly anybody. The waves were gorgeous, and one young girl attempting to ride them in the distance. Shamim also recommended great restaurants in the neighborhood, which turned out to be great. Pacific Grill was great, and American Pizza, a few miles away, made our kid's day. Reasonably priced.

Great place on a great beach, plus pool and jacuzzi! Crystal was a wonderful host—easy to deal with, responsive and clearly cared about ensuring we shad a good stay.
