The location initially gives you a jolt being in a very down to earth location but which is a 350 yo community close knit friendly clean and bustling around the concepion church and beautiful statue. Once you get to PK’s place you realize what a marvelous piece of heaven he has carved out here and true to his creative spirit designed and maintained it beautifully. I was with friends traveling from around the world who lived and enjoyed the best of the best places and PK’s place with its gorgeous views literally on the water makes for phenomenal coffees and breakfasts ( Grab makes it so easy ) and outstanding sunsets and gorgeous evening lights and parties . Loved the place and really enjoyed our stay Thanks PK for being so responsive and thoughtful in all the little details you provided at check in

Yao is an amazing host! She is very friendly and super responsive. Her home is really nice and beautiful. The fish pond outside is amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed feeding the fish daily. The house is very well equipped for your every need and we even got some really nice jelly from Yao. Highly recommended if you like a little bit of peace and quiet a little bit away from the center.

We staid here after traveling Thailand for about 10 days already, and this was my most favorite place that we stayed at. It's right on the river, and the island is amazing. There is a small weekend market, plus a number of regular little shops, cafes, and restaurants on the island. Ko Kret is a hidden gem! So beautiful. I absolutely loved staying here. The rooms are located on the 2nd level of a traditional teak wood home, with it's own (though separated) bathroom, balcony, and seating areas. Rooms are air conditioned, bathroom is not, but that was not an issue for us. The two women are so incredibly kind, and serve a great breakfast each morning! This is a great place to stay for anyone who is looking for a local, quiet, traditional experience. I wish I could stay longer!!! 🥰

My family and I had a great time staying here again. We were well taken care of and enjoyed exploring the mall nearby. Taxis run pretty frequently on the main road and the MRT line is also close by. The BTS is also a short drive away.

Isra and his wife are amazing host. They really look after you no matter of the time. They are a lovely couple. Just for future stayers be aware that going back and Doherty always needs to be arranged in advance. Once, there make sure you have everything you need. Walking around the island is not very easy as from the place there is no route to just walk and go and explore. If you just want to stay in one place, this is ideal. My only negative is the mosquitos. You get bitten a lot. Maybe more things available to combat it like insect killing lights. More sprays, etc.

I finished my stay in Chalinee's very nice apartment, after extending twice. It was a very pleasant experience and Chalinee remained a very gracious host right through to the end. I would recommend staying in any property offered by her.

It is definitely worth the price i paid for for 2 bedrooms. The apartment is located very near to Ari BTS and also to Or Tor Kor Market / Chatuchak Market about 30 mins walk or you can use BTS. The beds are comfortable and the living room has a huge standing fan in case you do not like to use air-conditioning system. Recommended for those who wants to have a peaceful stay.

Na Vayla Paplern is a pearl. Cool, luminous and rare. It's honest and warm beauty hugs you once you reach the green leafy welcoming entrance, and continues to entrance you in these jaded times of cookie cutter monotony. Pros: Where else will you get such spiffy, neat rooms? Such real welcoming smiles? Such a real ambience - far away from the glitz of monotonous downtowns with a canal flowing next door! Such a breakfast my goodness, such a fresh breakfast every single morning. Thai, Korean, Japanese curries and what have you; crisp fritters, flaky doughy creations, mangoes - yes, yes, in mid February that too- and light freshly made confectionary! Such a generous, kind and helping couple, the owners Tuck and Plaen. Cons: Can't think of any! Those of you who wish to smell, feel, and eat real Bangkok, look no further. 'Cause the day Conde Naste features these two wizards - what with the two super cool vegan restaurants too that they run in Bangkok - they may just be booked out!!

Superbe séjour au logement de Une, situé au calme le long d'un fleuve. Assortis d'un charme fou, tout en bois et confortable. Les hotes sont très agréables et réactifs, le petit déjeuner servi ravira vos papilles. À une petite dizaine en minute en scooter des temples du centres. Restauration à proximité.

If there is one place to stay in Bangkok, it is definitely here. The accommodation is beautiful, right on the river, with a beautiful view of the temple across the water. Ann is an amazing host, super friendly, kind and accommodating. The location was great, in a lovely little neighbourhood, away from the big noisy city. We found it quite walkable but if you don’t enjoy walking, the taxis are very cheap and about a 10 ish min drive to the centre. The breakfast offered is delicious, paired with fresh fruit from the garden. As mentioned in the other reviews, the water is used by locals and tour groups, however we did not find it to be a problem at all. I’m a light sleeper and was able to easily nap during the day, when they are most active. If we ever end up back in Bangkok we will definitely be returning to this Airbnb!! :)

This is a really great value in a super location, run by a really nice family. A few things stood out compared to other airbnbs I’ve stayed at in Bangkok over the last six years: - the WiFi is reliable, - the shower has hot water, good water pressure, and a filter! - the bed is comfortable by western standards, - the breakfast every morning in the restaurant downstairs is a really generous (and tasty) thing for the family to provide, - the laundry service, at 60 baht per kilo, is much less expensive than the wash & fold places I’ve usually used in town, - the location is a comfortable walk to Terminal 21, so very convenient to public transportation, and it’s also close to a lot of fantastic restaurants and cafes. Overall, it’s a good value for a comfortable stay in a great location, suitable for both short and longer visits. Enjoy!

My entire family and I stayed here, booking a total of three rooms, which gave us the entire floor to ourselves. They serve the best Pad Kaprao—I ate it every day!
