Samantha was wonderful and the house and location is really perfect. its setting is so nice and quiet, and the house is set up perfect for a family with a great game room upstairs and tons of games. We spent thanksgiving there with our family and the house had everything you could need for cooking for sure. It was perfect. We look forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors more. Waking up every day and going out on the dock to feed the three swans was really cool. We'll be back.

My family and I had a wonderful time! The home was beautiful, comfortable and clean! Definitely recommend staying over and over again. The host was absolutely amazing as well! Will definitely be staying again in the near future.

The place was beautiful and very clean. My only concern was no blinds downstairs for privacy and the oven needs cleaning. I will rent again.

Peace, comfort, beauty with every possible ammenity. Outstanding in every possible way. Everything about this home, area, and host is "the best". Every room is decorated beautifully. The beds are extremely comfortable, all furniture is clean, cozy and perfect. Watching the water and associated wildlife/birdlife from the deck and/or kitchen/living rooms was amazing---swans, geese, ducks. We were here off season and the neighbors were kind, friendly and fun. We walked all around the island, again off season, so it was slow and easy to walk the road. Along our walk, we enjoyed the local farm life, as a few folks had turkeys, rosters, Emus and dogs. Just a perfect get-away.

The host was so accommodating with little notice. Friendly, helpful and even started a fire for us before we got there. Our dog loved the wide open space to play around. We will be back.

We absolutely loved Kate’s house. It was the cleanest Airbnb we have ever been to. I was amazed at how well the cleaner has done a great job with the place when it comes to getting it ready for the next guests. Kate went above and beyond when it came to communicating with us and with recommendations for places and instructions for the house. We will definitely return again in the future if she will have us. Most notably is that our daughters loved all of the toys that were available to us at the house. Thank you once again Kate!

We loved this snug, little spot on the water. Watching the sunrise over the water made for enjoyable mornings. It had a full kitchen that made cooking our meals very easy. Two seating areas in the living area gave us room to spread out. Fast wifi....I even stayed online while I was down by the water. I wasn't a huge fan of the overly curious swans, but I did find some really nice pieces of sea glass down by the water. The heat in this house was great.

Very responsive was always willing to accommodate! Any question I had, he responded quickly and always had an answer! Very very clear and nice!

I enjoyed my stay and was surprised when John on his own sent me a list of things to do and restaurants around the area. He was very helpful to make sure I had all I needed in the house. The place was clean and well maintained. No complaints, definitely recommend if you want to be near DC but not stay in the DC area to rest.

Pictures don't do this basement apartment justice, it was very comfortable, nicely decorated and clean! I was excited to arrive to a lovely warm fire in the wood stove, as others have stated in their reviews... a terrific and very comforting touch. With an ample supply of wood close to the stove I was able to keep the fire going during my 2 day stay. Gaining access upon arrival and signing onto the Wi-Fi was a breeze which helped keep me in touch with my work while traveling. The apartment had everything one would need including a coffee bar with snacks, toiletries and more. I would come and stay with Pam & Chris again in the future if available.

I stayed there for a couple weeks. The place was clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend the place.
