Private, beautiful, and brings me back to childhood camping in family cabins. Daniel was also an incredible host. Very responsive, respectful, polite, and accommodating. An incredible experience for first time airbnbing.

This place was spacious & beautiful! The outside area & dock was perfect for all of us! The kitchen was stocked w/ many plates, pots & pans. Would definitely come back !!

From the very beginning, Tim was extremely attentive and answered all of my questions immediately. I knew what to expect as soon as I walked in. The house fit 2 families and 2 large lazy dogs without feeling cramped. Having water access was amazing, the kids fished all day while the parents enjoyed time on the patio. The kids were able to take kayaks out to fish as well. The water grass made it a little difficult to keep an eye on the kids from the patio area, but not enough to be a problem. The water is very shallow but we were able to park our rented boat (Mac's Boat Rental-super awesome to the kids) without a problem. This house is exactly what we were looking for; private, waterfront and allowed dogs heavier that 20lbs-which is difficult to find. This house was a gem and we will gladly rent again! Thanks Tim!

Heather was very friendly and the place was just how it was described. I loved the view of the water and the sound of waves. The fireplaces kept us warm. it's my second time there and I would totally come again!! Thanks for sharing your space, Heather!!

Third stay at Butternut Bay, and it truly does feel like a home away from home. We have such special family memories because of Butternut Bay and its owner, first Jeanne, and now Meagan who is continuing her legacy--and it really does feel like that. Meagan cares that your time at Butternut is one you will remember. We thoroughly enjoyed her sharing of the St Lawrence Seaway map online, so we were able to track and learn more about the ships that were passing, day and night! Looking forward to our next stay, and more amazing family moments. Thank you Meagan!

I don't even know where to start! This is incredible! The house is really clean! Cozy! Light! Warm! Friends work in construction business and they checked the house with a special black light!Everything is perfectly clean! This is the house i would like to rent in the future! This beautifully appointed home was a perfect getaway. The peaceful lake with no cottages on the far side was clean and great for boating or swimming right off the dock. We enjoyed loons, herons, owls and a bunny. We hiked at Gould lake, swam, fished from the rowboat, had a campfire and watched stars from zero gravity chairs with no light pollution. A wonderful stay! Such a lovely location and beautifully decorated apartment. Enjoyed everything about it from sitting out on the deck watching birds, boats etc to firepits in the evening and walking to the local Tikki Bar for food, beverage and socializing. We found the people in this area to be the friendliest we've come across in our travels. Oh yes and the bed is heaven.

Randa Catherine's apartment is in a great part of town, within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very clear instructions, would recommend for a short stay.

Sarah Jane and Jan's place was inviting with beautiful views of the Kingston waterfront. It is close to downtown and Queen's University. An ideal location to explore the heart of Kingston. I look forward to returning the next time I am through Kingston.

spacious clean apartment with small but full kitchen, comfortable living room and comfortable king bed. a little tricky to find .. house numbers small ... and had a bit of trouble at check in .. but Barbara was very responsive to a phone call and greeted us with the key code we needed to get in. no river view as it was fall but just a short walk from house.

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

This is a beautiful, hidden gem in the Village of Waddington, NY. The apartment has a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River a gorgeous patio and access to the river. It is beautifully decorated, everything inside is new, we felt we were the first to visit! Finally I can't say enough great things about our hostess, Michele, she made our stay very comfortable! Thank you, we'll be back!

Great location with good sized deck overlooking the water, walkable to everything in downtown Clayton…parking could have been a problem mid-day but otherwise ideal

The house is outstanding. Everything you need for a perfect stay. Beds are very comfortable and we all slept well. Kitchen fully equipped. Super clean and beautifully decorated. The views are incredible. Hosts were very responsive plus gave us tips of places to eat and told us things that are going on in the area. Super friendly. We will definitely be back to stay again. Highly recommend you visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Michael's place was perfect for a quick winter get-away! It was stocked with everything we needed for the weekend and beautiful on the inside and out. Michael was really responsive when we had questions and made sure we had all the information needed. Would definitely visit again!

Priya’s place is clean, spacious and beautiful! The location is perfect for some peace and quiet and we enjoyed the lovely views of the lake as well as spending some time ice fishing. Priya was a very communicative host and answered all of our questions. We enjoyed a perfect weekend getaway and highly recommend the lakehouse!

Thank you Ryan!! This listing is the perfect escape from the city and has EVERYTHING you need. The host was very responsive, walked us through setting up a fire. Even in the craziest of snowstorms it was cozy and warm. Gorgeous decor. Comfortable couch. Couldn't say enough nice words!! Some airbnbs you can tell the host has never actually stayed there because they are missing dishes etc or it's not set up nicely. This place was PERFECT and you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space and has stayed there themselves. Will have to be back!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful time at Blake’s cottage. We enjoyed the relaxation, BQQ, and walking around the village of Westport, which was very close by. Our dog really enjoyed the property and town as well. We recommend the Lost Penny Pub in Westport for a drink and food. Thank you so much to Blake and Lizzie!

The property was beautiful and offered great gathering places for our family and wonderful cottages to spend some quiet time. The lake is pretty quiet and offered nice boating/kayaking and shallows that were perfect swimming for our kids. The cottages were outfitted with everything you need and were thoughtfully organized and designed. Mark and Angie were awesome, friendly, and helpful. We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay. We hope to return next summer!

Very cozy stay! We stayed during a winter storm and the wood stove kept us warm. It was also very clean and had a nice full kitchen. The location is very nice and feels private as well.

Amazing 3-day stay! Perfect, peaceful view with a quiet environment. The lake is beautiful with clean water. The house is in great condition and well-equipped - we enjoyed cooking there. The owners are very nice. Everything we needed was provided. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage, it is a special place. Communication with Bryelle was responsive and easy. When we noticed that the propane tank for the bbq was empty she dropped a full one off within minutes. The cottage itself has been completely renovated, everything is beautiful and high end. The lake is peaceful with clear water great for swimming. It was a great spot to spend our 20th anniversary and for a family get together before we dropped our daughter off at university. We would love to come back next time we are in Kingston!
