We loved our beautiful retreat on Bohicket Road! Candice’s home is gorgeous and peaceful, surrounded by nature, and it was a fun and stunning place to relax with our family and two dogs for an extended three week stay. (The pups loved it too!). It was an easy half hour drive into Charleston - with so many phenomenal restaurants and so much history to explore there. But we also thoroughly enjoyed John’s Island - the restaurants and bars closer to ‘home’ like Tattooed Moose, Lowtide Brewing, Wild Olive, Lost Isle and Royal Tern. Candice’s home and property were very much as described - with a breathtaking view of the channel and marsh, a long pier and deep water dock, a lovely pond and spacious deck and yard, with plenty of seabirds right out the back door. The decor is lovely but not too ‘fancy’ to feel comfortable and right at home with our dogs. Candice is friendly and responsive, a kind and gracious host who was welcoming and attentive to our needs from start to finish.

Gorgeous and spacious property! Close to beach and pool! Exactly as described. We really loved this home and can’t wait to come back!

Jamie’s house was lovely! We had so much space for my family of 6 to spread out. The kitchen is properly stocked with more than you need, the bathrooms also had plenty in case you forgot something. The pool/patio area is lovely. The walk to the beach took minutes, and the downtown strip of IOP is a 15 min walk. We enjoyed our stay & will most certainly be back.

Jayne’s home was fantastic. It was spacious, inviting, and had all of the amenities you could ask for. While we didn’t get a chance to use the pool because of the very cold weather, the pool looked absolutely incredible and would be perfect on a warmer day. The location of the home was also very close to the beach. I could not imagine a more relaxing environment in which to spend time in Kiawah. I hope to return in the future!

Charleston is a great city and this is a perfect place to stay with a group or family while enjoying it all. The beds were comfortable, the place was spotless and was incredibly convenient, all while being less expensive than a hotel stay. I would highly recommend this for your next stay in Charleston!

FIVE STAR STAY! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The Crab House exactly as described in photos and listing. Clean, convenient, and well organized. Enjoyed the amenities in the game room including video game system and darts (I won) :) Everything was great and we had a great stay with our friends. Also loved the fact that there was plenty of parking as well. Probably enough for 5 cars if you had a big group. Lastly, John had great proactive communication.

We LOVED our stay there, it was truly a home like no other, and we absolutely hated to leave! The attention to all of the little details made it even that much more special. The placement and arrangement of the towels, the games tray on the coffee table, the basket of treats (so sweet!), the coffee bar basket, the wealth of pillows and blankets, and even the umbrella stand complete with an umbrella! You had everything that we needed there, and more. And Jaime & Zachary were the best - I can't get over how quick they were to respond whenever I reached out - and so willing to go the extra mile! The location is PERFECT, it was great to be able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, or to so easily drive to fabulous destination points outside of downtown. I invited my three adult sons to join me on this trip (praying that they'd be glad they came) and they LOVED it there - both the house and the wonderful city of Charleston! I can not say enough about how happy we were with our stay!

One of the best Airbnb experiences I have had no doubt! The host is amazing and they go out of their way to make your stay at their home as comfortable and seamless as possible. They had homemade bread and a homemade quiche waiting for us! Even a hand written note inside their guest book specifically for us. They really care about the small details of sharing their home! This is a great house if you have a dog! Our dog loved the backyard and it was a great neighborhood to walk him in. We all slept really well and thought the beds were amazing! The showers were great too! It is conveniently located to get to many wonderful places in Charleston. We found some great local restaurants we highly recommend: Dashi, Crepe Palace, LoLa and Ruby's Bagels. Jack was super responsive and helpful!

What a wonderful home! Spacious and so nice inside! Close to the beach and Bert's Market. Only a few blocks from bars and restaurants. Easy to rent a golf cart up the street to explore the island. There is also a " mother in law suite" attached to the house with a private entrance that we also rented for extra guests. We spent a lot of time on the large deck and the whole yard was fenced for the dogs. Overall a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back!

Stayed here for three nights and enjoyed the accessibility to all that Charleston has to offer. Walked to plenty of fine dining in the neighborhood, including Southbound, The Grocery, and Fuel. There is a Publix that is a five-minute drive away. Uber's to downtown (market & King) were about 12 mins long and approx $8-10. There are plenty of people walking around the neighborhood, so it doesn't feel eery or anything. Some college students walking home later on in the night, from the establishments on King St. I would presume, but not obnoxious or anything like that. The house was super clean, easy to find, and had enough dishes and towels. The beds were SO comfortable and there were plenty of pillows, too! Communication was great and responsive.

The hosts were wonderful and responsive. This was an excellent place for our family to spend the holiday weekend. The house was spacious and very clean. Great neighborhood!

This is it. What a great time and spacious surroundings. Everything was great. Communication exceptional and so happy to be able to stay here. Will definitely seek out on my next trip to Charleston.

My friends and I truly enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. The backyard was perfect for our two dogs and the firepit and outdoor seating was a nice touch! Location is great and not too far from Downtown Charleston. Kathy was very kind and was flexible with our check-in time. Kathy was also very responsive. The house was exactly as described and we were more than comfortable with 3 couples staying there. Thanks Kathy!

Everything was exactly as described. Home was well equipped with snacks and drinks. The only issue I had is that I understood how many people I had listed to stay at the property and from my history this is what I always stuck too. I felt a little unease when my sister came to bring me stuff to prepared I got a note about knowing how many people was supposed to stay at the house. This is when they first got there. It was only 6 people at the house at the time but I got a message saying to avoid an uncomfortable situation he just wanted to make sure we were on the same page with only 8 being the max registered. I only suggest you make those suggestions before your guest arrive and not when you see folks arriving on your door ring to bring me stuff. Now that was an uncomfortable situation to me. Other than that everything was extremely nice and well equipped.

The perfect spot for a weekend getaway! Very clean, beautiful decor, amazing pool. Able to stay close to downtown Charleston without the fuss of traffic and parking concerns. All around a great trip and would definitely recommend to anyone!!

Our stay was lovely! The backyard is very private and spacious. We were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub. The house and surrounding neighborhoods are beautiful, and we were able to take walks and see the other nice houses. It’s an easy Uber or drive to downtown Charleston or Folly Beach.

Unfortunately our visit to Charleston was under sad circumstances. However having a great host and a great/ CLEAN location made the trip smooth and easy. Would love to book at this location again when we can really vacation and enjoy ourselves! WONDERFUL HOME!

What a cute spot! Stayed here with my three kids and fiance. A few pros: Great toilet paper - small detail but it’s important lol Very clean - pool could’ve used another skimming but seriously the cleanest Airbnb ever. Well stocked kitchen - we made shrimp and beef tacos, rice and beans for our family and a friend of ours as well. We had everything we needed! Well stocked house - towels, sunscreen, etc it was all there! The kids loved the ping pong table! Pack & play was so handy. We loved this house more than our own lol Two things we wish it had (cause of our 8 month old) was a high chair and outlet covers.

We had the best girls weekend at Calvin’s home! He was very responsive and flexible letting us drop our bags off at the house ahead of check in. It was a great house and location - so close to the beach but also was great to have the pool option! IOP was a blast and the house was a semi far, but feasible walk to restaurants/bars. The house was great with many rooms to spread out and use during our stay. The only note is that the kitchen wasn’t stocked with any cooking essentials (olive oil, s&p, butter, condiments). Would highly recommend - we may even be back!

What a great house! Lots of great space to hang out between the many TVs inside and outside, the game area on the ground floor, the pool, the bocce court. And when you want to leave the house it's great because you can easily walk to the beach or even to town.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The nearby train is definitely loud, but as long as you’re prepared and use the provided noise machines it’s not a big deal. The house was beautiful, spacious, and was perfect for our family. The kitchen is well-stocked and the beds are comfy. We would stay here again!
