Cozy retreat is an understatement. This place was great. Exactly as described. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Would for sure recommend to anyone looking to escape from the norm.

Check in was very easy and we had no issues at all during our stay. The bedding in the rooms was all premade which was nice. Although there were neighbors nearby, the configuration of the outdoor space felt like we were by ourselves on the lake. Fantastic house and I’d recommend to anyone!

This place was perfect!! We had 4 families and there was plenty of space. The view of the lake was beautiful and it had so many comforts of home. We will definitely come again. AvantStay was so responsive if we had any questions!

Great place for our large group!

Our group came to Charlotte for a competition at the convention center. The home was 20 minutes from the heart of downtown and was such a great home. Everything was clean and comfortable. There were only 3 of us and we could have easily had another 2 or 3 people. Everything worked well and the house was stocked with all the necessities.

We had an amazing stay! It was private enough but also a lot to do. The views were great and it was an overall relaxing trip for everyone that came.

The host was cooperative and responsive, which made the experience smooth and hassle free

Great cabin and great host

We had a wonderful stay. Host were very prompt in coming to our rescue when we turned off heat and ciuldnt figure out how to gurn back on... lol! Very appreciative for the opportunity to view your amazing lifestyle. Thank you for accepting pets! The dogs enjoyed the varied smells.

The place was wonderful! Exactly what we were looking for while visiting the area. Close to great restaurants and the airport. The neighborhood felt like I was at home, nice and comfortable. Loved our stay here, and John was very helpful if we needed anything!

This is the coziest of cabins to grieve the loss of my granddad and curl up with a good book, forgetting the rest of the world for a little bit.

We had a great stay at Geraldine’s cabin! Check in & out was very simple. The cabin is in Charlotte but right on the outskirts of the big city. The area is decently quiet, and neighbors are friendly! The cabin is beautiful & just as pictured. Both rooms are decent sizes, and the shower water gets nice and hot (for those who like to take hot showers) I felt extremely safe & would highly recommend if you are coming to Charlotte!

Our stay was amazing ! The cabin looked just like the pictures. It was very clean and cozy! The cabin comes with literally everything you need even down to the forks. Highly recommend!

Vi was very friendly and responsive. Her place felt like home. I was there first day and extended my trip another week. very peaceful, the decor was wonderful. Location is minutes to restaurants and groceries. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back soon

Alicia & John were lovely hosts. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking meals. There were extra towels & washcloths for our family of five. Lots of great info in their guest binder. Covered pier was an amazing place to spend mornings & evenings. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

The property location was perfect on the Lake and close to Restaurants and shopping. The host was very helpful with local recommendations and highlights of the area.

Perfect getaway! Fully equipped, private and cozy space that was easy to settle into and enjoy. From the quiet surroundings to the comfortable beds and sofas to the hot tub and fire pit - this home was a wonderful place to spend a few peaceful days away from the hustle and bustle of the day to day!

We absolutely loved this Airbnb. You cannot beat this lakefront property. The beds were comfy, the fire pit was great for the family and there was plenty of space for 7 of us. We would definitely recommend this cabin to other guests.

We loved the quiet area and all the extra things the place offers like the gym is open 24/7 and laundry too. We would love to come back when the weather is warm to enjoy the paddle boat and kayak. The place is just like the pictures shown and is so cozy and relaxing. We loved the bathroom.

Samantha was very responsive, took care of any issues right away. The cabin is cozy and cute. We were allowed to use the boat dock so that was wonderful, its a bit of a hike up and down to boat but worth it to go out right on the water from your back yard. The new ac/heat both worked great, the beds where nice and there is plenty of linen. The kitchen while small was well stocked and clean. There is a fire pit, a charcoal grill and an inside fireplace although we didnt use any of those they are there as well as two sup for guest use. Although the cabin is well taken care of and we were even there for regular pest control services the yard is wooded and across the street from the state park also wooded so best not to be too squimish about spiders you will see a few. The state park is just across the way for nice hikes from 1/2 mile to 5 mile hikes all on the water so that was very nice.

A great experience all around. The photos and descriptions were accurate, check in and out were easy, and the hosts were responsive. The house was nice and the dock / backyard were very peaceful with good views. Convenient location to stores, restaurants, and Uptown Charlotte. I would stay here again!
