Kate's is such a wonderful and kind host, so thoughtful and considerate. We were dealing with the passing of a very well loved family member and needed to all be together during this tough time. Kate's warm welcome and detailed, thoughtful instructions made our stay in her house so comforting. Upstairs bedrooms included the beautiful master suite, elegant bathroom and a bonus room with childrens toys and games. The main level included another bedroom and bathroom, so appreciated after long days of travel. Great, fully equipped spotlessly clean kitchen, stocked for guests with K cups & ground coffee. Kate also had a collection of toys and games for kids, toddlers and even babies in the under-the-stairs closet. But sadly we were so busy I missed seeing them until after the baby, five year old and their mamas and daddies went home. The house has a lovely backyard, lots of outdoor seating. Blooming red azaleas when were there made for beautiful family photos. Great park, short walk away.

Dan’s place was a great location in Charlotte! The house has all the needs and a lovely porch better than expectations. Would definitely recommend!

Great spot for a girl's weekend. We spent a day at the Ballantyne Spa and stayed here as it was close by! Easy spot to get food delivered and we had a great time! Beds were comfortable, plenty of plates and utensils for dining in. Polo was very responsive with any questions. We didn't end up using the outside amenities since we were gone most of Saturday, but super cute fire pit!!

We were passing through the area on a camping trip and decided at the last minute that we wanted a night of comfort. Ron's place was more than we could have asked for. Comfortable, inviting, and unique, with clear entry instructions and a private driveway to leave our bikes on our vehicle overnight. Ron was great at communication, responding in about five minutes to our rental request, and had the place ready for us in about a half hour! Comfortable mattress in the master suite, and all the amenities we could want. I will definitely make my way back to Ron's in the future!

They made it to where I had to ask no questions with easy check in. Great view from the porch and 5 min from everything. Overall well worth the stay!

Sam's Riverside Retreat was the perfect place to enjoy a quiet weekend with family. The scenery is beautiful. The hosts couldn't have been any more polite and prompt with their responses when I had questions. 10/10!

Definitely will consider staying here again if I make my way through charlotte! Thank you again Sarah!

Kyle allowed us to host a party the night before our daughter’s wedding and couldn’t have been more helpful. Home Exceeded our expectations and Kyle was so quick to respond to any questions. Walkable and easily uber-able to all Charlotte has to offer. Outdoor space was exceptional. Highly recommend this home!

My family and I had an amazing time at this house! Great waterfront features, very roomy, nice lake views, etc. we would love to return in the future! Only thing I will say is this house has a separate booking called the boathouse. The boathouse is a different airbnb listing, and it’s not mentioned in the description of this property. There were others staying there at the same time as us and it is on property. Next time we will book both the boathouse and the main house for optimum privacy. Other than that, no complaints! Thank you for a great few days at the lake!

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I can't say enough how wonderful this rental is. The photos does not due the property justice. This vacation exceeded my expectations tenfold. The vacation included my parents and my 11YO border collie. My border collie loves swimming but is older and not able to jump from the dock, however was able to use the beach with ease. Loved going on a morning walks down the street littered with amazing lake views from both sides of the peninsula then using the fire pit in the evenings by the lake. We ended up night fishing with great success; my dad caught 20 fish in one night! As for local recommendations, we followed the dinner recs to the letter without disappoint. The only negative, besides going home 🙄 , was the living room furniture isn't the most comfortable as the couch is a bit lower than typical. However, this was very minor as our main places to lounge revolved around the lake and outdoor features. Overall, I have no regrets and will definitely return

Enjoyed this GetAway at Lake Norman. Was nice to enjoy and take the time to surprise my woman’s birthday. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Nice neighborhood. Quiet at night. Definitely would consider a stay at (Stay At Lake Norman) again. Next time we come when it’s warmer definitely doing to bring the jet skis and or the boat. Thanks again and Lord willing we will return for another visit. Our Bernese mountain dog loved it as well. That’s another reason we stayed so the baby didn’t have to stay at home.

Cozy retreat is an understatement. This place was great. Exactly as described. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. Would for sure recommend to anyone looking to escape from the norm.

Check in was very easy and we had no issues at all during our stay. The bedding in the rooms was all premade which was nice. Although there were neighbors nearby, the configuration of the outdoor space felt like we were by ourselves on the lake. Fantastic house and I’d recommend to anyone!

This place was perfect!! We had 4 families and there was plenty of space. The view of the lake was beautiful and it had so many comforts of home. We will definitely come again. AvantStay was so responsive if we had any questions!

Great spot of the kids to relax and come back to nature roots. Pool and Hot tub was a hit. Door Dash delivers. Great spot

6 of my girlfriends and I stayed comfortably here. There was plenty of room to sleep and get ready (we do wish there was a full length mirror as a group of girls:)), big kitchen, fireplace (tons of firewood), and hot tub. Plenty of room for us to cook meals in the kitchen and still be all together. The outdoor spaces (front and back) provided plenty of space for all of us as well. Matt was super responsive and accommodating. I would recommend this place if you are wanting a cozy home outside the city.

The one comment that Ken didn’t have bug spray and he got a one star or a two star review is honestly laughable because that is about the only thing this guy does not have when you talk about a host that lays out step-by-step instruction on what may be helpful around the house. He has every thing you need to make it home. This is a place where you can get out get away and still be 30 minutes from Charlotte and Mooresville is one of the affluent areas of all of Charlotte so there’s plenty to do a very nice uptown area. The guy has literally anything you can think of that you would need to make your stay more accommodated he thought of it and he put it down or has it for you five star no question

We stayed as a group of colleagues on a trip together, and enjoyed the location and amenities of our stay. The host was always responsive and helpful.

We had an amazing stay! It was private enough but also a lot to do. The views were great and it was an overall relaxing trip for everyone that came.
