I originally rented this airbnb to accommodate a construction work crew that was coming in to help out with a project. Due to unforseen schedule changes, i was unable to use this place to it's full duration but my workcrew enjoyed their week long stay. Having said that, Suzy was a remarkable host. She was able to confirm the reservation with less than 24 hrs notice. Her property is beautiful and relaxing and a perfect place to recover from a long day of work. The host welcomed the crew with a freshly baked loaf of banana bread which we were not expecting. It was unexpected but a welcoming touch.

Our stay was short and sweet but Deidre’s place covered every detail. It was a thoughtful space with a beautiful view and we loved how walkable it was. Would definitely recommend.

Lawrence was great! His place was very nice. We greatly enjoyed our stay. It was very comfortable! If the opportunity arises, we will definitely come back. Thank you, Lawrence, for everything! The breakfast items were wonderful!

This place was awesome! Clean and quiet with some amazing views. There’s an abundance of wild life so be mindful when driving. The host is amazing. There’s hot chocolate and a beautiful fire place. Blankets if you choose to sit on the balcony with some hot chocolate and enjoy the view. Many food choices to choose from that aren’t too far. Would definitely stay here again and recommend you do too.

We really enjoyed our stay. It is a super comfortable home away from home. Carolyn is a great host. Her instructions are clear and easy to follow. She also left us some delicious lemon pound cake! A convenient location for checking out the area. The quiet street makes it perfect for enjoying the screened in porch.

Lovely stay, quiet and close to everything. The entrance stairs are quite steep, so it was a little difficult for me to get down them. Once inside very tidy and very roomy. Enjoyed my stay.

Peter was responsive and generous. I was visiting Charlottesville and he offered his own oven for me to make some dishes. His place is clean and was nice and warm during the cold nights. I would stay here again when visiting. Thanks Peter for being a great host.

This was my second stay at the Black Cat Retreat. I highly recommend staying here. The place is great! It’s a wonderful big area with plenty of natural light. Lennice is a wonderful host and a pleasure to talk to! My dog Max and I loved staying here!

Everything was perfect. Mark was available next door if we needed anything. Very convenient to downtown Crozet.

There is a ton of space in Arturo's place, two full baths and two halfs, and plenty of beds. Well decorated and well lit. Great TV/Multi-media. It was perfect for a large group. We would definitely rent again.

I stay in a lot of AirBnB properties. What a nice gesture to get in late in the evening, kids in tow, and open the refrigerator to find fresh milk for the morning, some bagels, some fruit, coffee and some bottles of water. The house doesn’t have that sterile “everything came out of Home Goods” look to it; it actually felt like being at your Aunt and Uncle’s house for the weekend. Very clean, no complaints whatsoever. Good location, 10 minutes from UVA. Would definitely stay there again, highly recommended.

Overall was a great location to anyone wanting to enjoy the outdoors since the National Forest was nearby with gorgeous views! Or even enjoy all that the resort area offered! House was clean and the host was always made sure to get back to us about any questions that may have come up. Our kids loved that there was a game area as well that they could watch tv or game without having to give up the TV for the adults to watch TV.

We really enjoyed staying at the Little House in Staunton. This home is comfortable and within walking distance of downtown with a wide variety of restaurants, shopping and entertainment. (Staunton is not flat, so expect some moderate hills.) We were there during a spell of early warm weather, so the back porch was a great place to relax. Kitchen and bathroom were very clean and had what we needed for our stay. The king bed downstairs was very comfortable, the a/c worked well, and it is well furnished with couch, table and chairs - very homey. The TV was perfect for streaming from your favorite accounts. We did not use the upstairs, but there are also two single beds. The information book was filled with things to do and see - conveniently divided into walking and driving distances. For those with mobility issues, it is a high step into the shower and there are no grab bars, so you should keep that in mind. The Little House was a nice home away from home for our weekend in Staunton.

This was a spotless and cozy little home in a quiet tucked away neighborhood. We greatly appreciated being able to bring our cat with us. All of the fixtures and appliances were clean and new, and there were plenty of amenities (coffee, snacks, etc.) The location was a bit distant from "where the action is" in Charlottesville but once we got to know the routing it was no problem -- even an advantage, since we could avoid downtown traffic and noise, etc. The back yard offers plenty of space, a small coy pond, and backs up onto a wooded valley. We wondered if the train tracks running through the neighborhood would be an issue, but trains were rare, passed quickly and were barely noticeable. We'd be happy to stay again on future trips to Charlottesville.

Melissa’s place was absolutely perfect! Everything about our stay was comfortable, relaxing, and just what we needed. The home is spotless, incredibly cozy, and located in a quiet cul-de-sac that made it feel like a peaceful retreat. Melissa herself is an amazing host. She is kind, full of positive energy, and also very professional. She was always available if we had questions, and check-in was a breeze. The check-out instructions were clear and simple, and when we needed a little extra time to pack up, she graciously allowed a later check-out. The location couldn’t be better. It's close to the UVA hospital and just couple of minutes from a major shopping center with Wegman’s. This home made our long stay feel like home, and we truly had an excellent experience from start to finish. I highly recommend both the host and the house!

We had never been in a farmhouse before, so this was a beautiful and exciting experience for my family. The house is very spacious and we spent a relaxing and comfortable week there, enjoying the incredibly peaceful surroundings. Elizabeth is a very responsive host and always provided precise answers to our questions. The only downside was that we were hoping to see some farm animals (cows) on or near the property for the children in our group, as some pictures had shown, but that was not the case. The barn was a nice place for my grandchild, though. Thanks, Elizabeth!

Perfect for our quick trip to Crozet & Wintergreen Resort. Wonderful location, close to Gas Station/Convenience Store, Wintergreen Lobby, and Slopes. Everything was exactly as expected. Comfortable bed and easy access to streaming services and Wifi. Will definitely consider staying here again for future trips to the area. Thanks so much!

We had a wonderful stay at this Wintergreen condo. Location was great and we loved we could bring our dog. The place was very clean and had all necessities we needed. It was very cozy and we felt right at home. Kim was very responsive and friendly to deal with. All the instructions were clear and easy. We would definitely recommend and would come back!

Adam is a wonderful host. He is very responsive and accommodating. I loved that they gave a pet friendly home and that allowed us to bring our furr baby. His home is definitely a home away from home. I highly recommend and will use again in the future.

James and Emily’s condo was spectacular. Waking up to the beautiful view was the best part of our stay. In addition to the view the condo had everything needed to make our stay enjoyable and peaceful. The ride through the mountains was a bit tricky for us Michiganders but we were up for the challenge. Communication was excellent. If you are considering this home, you will not be disappointed.

Lisa's condo was fabulous! It was decorated beautifully and in a very peaceful location. It was great not having to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs. If you need anything, she is quick to answer. It was the cleanest dog friendly Airbnb that we have ever stayed in!! We have a hypoallergenic dog so I appreciated not being covered in dog hair. We had the best family weekend here! We love Wintergreen & booked this last minute trip so our kids could play in the snow & my husband could snowboard. The condo is spacious, clean, very comfortable, and a great location. It’s a great layout for families with the 2 bedrooms on one side and the living area on the other. We enjoyed the wood fireplace & beautiful snowy view of the golf course. We had one minor neighbor issue & Craig responded immediately and reached out to the neighbor to solve the issue right away. He was so helpful and kind to do that and we really appreciated it. All of the condo details & directions were helpful & easy to follow. We loved the Fire & Frost restaurant right around the corner for coffee and great pizzas. An overall wonderful trip and enjoyable stay in a clean & comfortable home
